There are no igbos In Rivers State, not even one soul. So you land grabbing criminals should carry your 419, backwards, home of drug dealers, prostitutes, and Ritualist and stay the fvck away from Rivers State.Cause any igbos living in Rivers State are tenants who will be kick out to their cursed Biafra republic where the sun never shines.
Hahaha... very entertaining.
You just assumed I'm Igbo and started drooling saliva everywhere.
Oga, what does Iwhuruohna mean in your language? Or according to that fart you call a brain, you'd be speaking Igbo, bearing Igbo names, having the names of your village in Igbo and still be "kicking" Igbos out of Rivers state?

Ikwerre is not Igbo, don't derail the thread. Keep that Ikwerre agenda in your IPOB meeting. Igbos know themselves hope you get it.

Now back to Ijaw clowns. There are no Ijaws in River state. Anybody claiming Ijaw in Rivers is an alien.

Below are the independent wrhnic groups Ijaw landgrabbers are claiming in Rivers.

1. Kalabari these ones have brutally rejected the Ijaw identity.
2. Abua - their King took Ijaw clowns to court to affirm their ethnic independence.
3. Okrika - a mix tribe of Ijaw, Igbo & Ibibio heritage.
4. Obolo - an Ibibiod group claimed by Ijaws
5. Bonny/Opobo - an Igbo group land grabbed by Ijaw clowns.
My comment was well in line with the direction of the thread; the guy posted some stuff which called for the nature of my comment.
So, what's with the IPOB part in your comment? Or you just go about tagging people falsely?

Haha the thing pain your 419,head. grin
Yes those names are all force upon the ikwerres by you Unwanted bloody igbo land grabbers. It means nothing in ikwerres language That why the ikwerres want to change it grin grin
So what does Iwhuruohna mean in your language? Or was that one also forced on you to adopt?

Point of correction, the Ikwerres are not igbos.
Hahaha.... Crazy drunks everywhere. Even the Hillary Oparaodu bears an Igbo surname and most of the 2000 names he listed are all in Igbo language. Well, it's actually quite entertaining to watch these jokers fool around.
Yes, they are not Igbo indeed! Lol.

You are still showing the traits of a proud EMPEROR! abuse.. abuse & abuse.lets discuss.. let us sit down & ask ourselves this hard question.WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF IGBO HATRED ACROSS NIGERIA?I mentioned PROSPERITY & BAD ATTITUDE TOWARDS OUR HOST.prosperity attracts jealousy & hatred across most tribes in NIGERIA...bad attitude towards your father, mother, relations, friends, neighbors, landlord, boss also attracts hatred.SOME OF US HAVE BAD ATTITUDE THAT HAS CREATED HATRED FOR NDIGBO MORE THAN THE PROSPERITY FACTOR IN NIGERIA
This your comment here shows that you are a child and maybe, new to Nairaland.
What do you mean by ' bad attitude towards your hosts'?
Have you ever heard that Igbos fought with any group outside Igboland as a result of provocation from the Igbos?
What then is this bad attitude towards the host that you speak of?

Amen to your prayer! but I'm not pained.i cannot have a bitter mind against myself, because I'm also igbo.we should be humble enough to accept criticism.
Your topic and your following comments on it don't just 'rhyme'.
What pride are you talking about?
Are you insinuating that Igbos should just fold their hands while other groups take their lands, rewrite history and intimidate them in the same ' one Nigeria'?
Oga, as much as I don't quite support some of the methods some Igbos employ in their agitation, you have to understand that what an average Igbo man wants is to live and let live. They are simply yearning for an egalitarian society where every man is equal and has the same level playing field. When this is not so, as in the current situation of Nigeria, some of these frictions you observed will be inevitable.

The way and manner some people reason baffles me. OP, how could you conveniently shift the blame on others when obviously, IPOB should be blamed squarely for the mishaps in the Southeast. If IPOB had not declared their self-destructive sit-at-home, none of these would have happened.
If IPOB hadn't formed and empowered ESN, none of these would have happened. When reasonable people were cautioning IPOB against some of their actions, some of you thought you knew it all. Now, you see the result?
Businesses have practically stalled; the youths ( because of idleness and frustration) have started indulging in illicit drugs.
That was how some of us here cried out against the shameful treatment meted out to Ekweremadu but so many of you were praising them. Now, you want the same elders you vilified and castigated to speak for MNK.
In fact, una matter just tire person.

Most people who use the expression "academic" didn't do well at school. You keep skipping questions, let me refresh your memory:

I asked for simple evidence for your outrageous claims but you'd rather throw infantile insults while spamming everywhere with your meaningless maps. Where is your evidence that Onitsha and Agbor were under Benin at some time in history?
You think this is your village tales by moonlight where you gather gullible villagers and feed them with lies?

1) I have many more precolonial maps of the region in stock, I am just letting you repeat your "it doesn't mean anything" until you realize you are in denial.

2) what Benin might it be kid ?

So far, your excuses have been:
1)the ancestral uniform if the Obi means nothing
2) the fatherly role played by the Oba of Benin in the coronation of the Obi of Agbor means nothing
3) the oral stories mean nothing
4) the map doesn't cut it

Waiting for your new excuse...
These are not excuses. You can't just throw up some picture of the Obi of Agbor dressed in a regalia similar to that of the Oba and claim that he was under the sovereignity of the Oba because of that. There's no where in the academic world it would pass for an evidence. At best, you could say it is a pointer but I could also claim that the Oba copied from the Obi and as such was under the Obi.
As per the so-called oral accounts (that nobody deemed fit to document, even the cartographers of your maps), even a grade one pupil knows that they count for nothing.

If you have something worthwhile, why don't you post it instead of running around in circles?
So far, the maps don't support the claim you made.

Truthvalue41:

Yeah, "maybe he just copied the Oba of Benin"...
As for your pretending to be blind, a precolonial map of the region is above.
What I see in that map of yours are just some markings and drawings with the words " Gabon", "Benin" and others. Nothing there says that all those areas were under Benin ( That is, if we are even to accept that it is the same Benin of our discussion). My point is: that map doesn't cut it at all and every unbiased observer will acknowledge that. Don't tell me that you can't find any shred of reasonable evidence of the claim you made from anywhere on the internet.

So the Obi of Agbor having the same prevolonial uniform as the Oba of Benin and his other vassals means nothing ?

The one sector that hardly gets corrupted is the monarchy.

https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b8595583b.r=Benin?rk=150215;2

Also, the current Obi of Agbor ascended the throne of his father thanks to the intervention of the Oba of Benin.
Yes, it doesn't mean much that he wore an outfit similar to that of an Oba of Benin. It could be that he simply copied the Oba's mode of dressing and nothing more. Cultures copy from one another; so it is not strange. Even the present Oba, I bet, has one or two elements in his regalia that he borrowed from somewhere else. It doesn't mean that he is not autonomous.
As per your last statement, honestly, that doesn't count, even slightly.
I was hoping for, maybe, a documented account from a neutral source of how Agbor and Onitsha were once under the sovereignity of Benin.
How about that map you mentioned?

Apart from the picture of the Obi of Agbor in the 1930's, you also have prevolonial maps and oral stories.

Once again: Obi of Agbor in the 1930's
I don't see how the pic you posted is an evidence that Agbor was under Benin. Maybe you can kindly point it out to me.
As for the pre colonial map, can you post it here for all to see?
The oral accounts wouldn't pass for any serious evidence, would it?

Agbor was part of Benin, even the current Agbor monarch owes his ascension to the fatherly role of the Oba of Benin.
Onitsha was also part of Benin.
The Oba of Benin never told any Portuguese about NRI village.
You seem to be learning how to lie like a yoruba.
Can you present any evidence that Onitsha and Agbor were under Benin at some point?

If lagos was an ibo land nobody would be allowed to come in but the yorubas whome you call "touts" sheltered you, gave you lands, allow you do business freely then because of the little money its now you know you are the richest tribe, money gotten from stealing. Who on this platform has successfully bought a working electronic from alaba or computer village?
Are you saying that hundreds of thousands of Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis and other ethnic groups doing their businesses and living peacefully in Onitsha, Aba and other towns in Southeast are all aliens?
Anyway, since you feel so strongly against Igbos patronising you in your business, I will help you and broadcast it everywhere on Nairaland.

Well, it is their problem. Some few years ago on this forum, they both ganged up against Igbos. They were everywhere postulating and grandstanding against Igbos in the name of " our oyel" and" niger delta".
Now, they are claiming almost everywhere in Niger Delta. Not my business.

OP, all what you said is true.
It is shameful, to begin with, that the great Igbos allowed a group such as IPOB to be manipulating them. The people who sent you out on a suicide mission are all abroad with their families, yet you don't want to have sense.
Just take a look at the embarrassing situation in Anambra. Just a few days to the election, they now called off the sit-at-home order, knowing fully well that many people must have scheduled not to vote. Tomorrow now, when an unfavourable candidate to them wins, they will start calling him " Supreme Court governor".
These guys keep getting it wrong at every single turn.
It's a shame.

I even thought I was talking to an idoma person, Igbos are facing serious marginalisation in Nigeria right now, the reason for Biafra agitation and the current anarchy in South East, so you are in no position to even mock us.

After collaborating with your northern"brothers" to fight Igbos during the war, you are now seeking for a special recognition. Oga, you are a Fulani man. Don't come here to distract Nigerians with your pity party. Whatever they dish out to you in Nigeria, take it as a man.

Rubbish.
Always using the brains of their followers to do ping pong.
So they didn't calculate the impact of their order to sit at home before issuing it?
Very very embarrassing rubbish.
I just wish to appeal to other Nigerians: IPOB does not represent Igbos; they only represent a section of IPOBians who have refused to reason properly.
Rubbish.

Are you kidding? I have my family tree traced up to Eri sef. Do you know how many generations that is?

Nearly every family from my place can trace back to Eri, except the ones who sojourned to our town sometime in the past. Perhaps centuries ago.

Even just last 2 Christmases they shared the document again showing the trace back. I saw all the sibling families to mine. Incidently nearly the whole sibling families live close to our house.
How was this done? Oral or written? From Eri?
Tell us more. What did they tell you of Eri? Who was he? Where did he come from? Abeg, tell us.
Culture / Re: Is It True That Ndiigbo Can Trace Their Ancestry To The Founder Of Their Towns? by michelz: 8:14pm On Nov 03, 2021
If you have traced your ancestry, I have just this advice for you:
Make sure you document it. Write it down somewhere. Histories can be lost if not well documented and can be revised. Document it, so that in future, there would be no ambiguity.

kollinz1234:
TO ALL LOVERS OF FREEDOM; READ WITH ALL SERIOUSNESS.

There is a serious discussion on the table between the federal government of Nigeria and the power brokers of the country regarding Nnamdi Kanu. The discussion is divided into two party.

The first party which is more civil and sensible wants Nnamdi Kanu sent back to Kenya so that the federal government will now make a formal extradition request in other to escape the knock from the international community and reduce the support and prominence kanu is gathering;

While the second party which is more brutal and satanic wants the Fg to release Kanu from the court, where which he will be immediately abducted by bandits and killed and the federal government will feign ignorance.
The president is seriously considering this second opinion but is still weighing the consequences considering the large number of people always appearing for the case in Kanu support; the president fears that it may lead to heavy blood shed and crisis within Aso rock; the corridor of power; which may eventually boost morale of some not so trusted military officers and lead to a coup; the worst thing the president is afraid of and making him consider the first option.

This is from a reliable source and shouldn't be taken for granted.
What is wrong with people like you?
Does it mean nothing is in that thing you call a head again?
Why are you bent on embarrassing and thoroughly shaming Igbos at every single given opportunity?
Tufiakwa! This must be a curse!
