jiday4: But the way Raymond is going about it is very wrong, you gave an insurance that his tools will be safe, both tools and materials for the job were stolen, next you ask him to come and finish job ,that you will rent tools for him.
Haba think about it very well, Raymond is after his own job been completed and afterwards he will leave Adedward to his fate.
Online Nairaland judges should always looks at a case critically before judging. if you check above, I have healed the blame on the feet of the engineer 100% no cap. It's entirely his fault and no one else's twinskenny: you supplied materials to a site and they stole part of it the first time, did the same the second and third time and you still left your equipment there>? cause the engr say so.. Na i wont do that my brother.. even though the engr should share most of the blame the sub contractor should also take part. Honestly this one is why he shares some blame. If you insist that your materials should be left on site, I will do that and take my tools. First time is a mistake, second and third time is orchestrated act. If maximum pressure is applied, the estate security will be forced to produce those materials completely. Unless of course there is something we're not being told |

raymondFirstborn: From your comment you have not held the sub contractor liable . Meaning contractor bears 100% loss. wow.
Your not even taking about shared responsibility. At this point Nigerians need to start taking law classes. Meanwhile theft was reported to the estate CSO. some top security staff were sacked. We have even installed cctv cameras after the event. let me make you to understand this thing. Late last year, someone contacted me for railings,I was almost through with the makings when thieves came and bundled everything, I didn't even call the owner for one day until he asked me what was delaying his job. I explained my predicament to him and went on to replace and complete his job without him adding a Kobo to it. Same year, someone came to my shop and paid for four doors with the keys, told me he was coming same day to pick up. Two days later,he came and no one could explain what happened to his doors, I replaced them completely and he didn't pay me a dime. For you to ask him to move materials to your site (probably to ensure that he's working and that your money is safe), you're completely responsible for the safety of the materials and tools. If after the first stealing incident, you still went on to insist he continues working on the site without you providing better security, that ensures that you're very much responsible. You should have provided private security and CCTV camera system to ensure ultimate security. Like this, I expect that you have an inventory of what has gone missing and you should use same inventory to replace same. As for his tools, you're buying them as well. These are your responsibility 100% and he owes you nothing in the eyes of the law. But because we're humans,he can choose to bear some (at his discretion). Just use your inventory to buy the stolen materials and tools. Whether or not he has bought the glass will happen after you have done these things. Since you're very sure about the security of the estate, you can take up this incident with your lawyers to enable you recoup some of the losses. Calling him out like this to jeopardise his chances of getting his chances of getting jobs here is complete wickedness. |

SuperEagles: Your brain is completely dead. You don't have spending population for Tinapa but you have million going to Caribbean Dubai Doha etc the problem with people like you is that you always think that you're intelligent. Less than 0.002% of the population are the people you're using to judge over 200ml people? In a country with over 120ml living in multi dimensional poverty. Minimum wage of 30,000 is what someone will use to go to vacation in Calabar? Do you know the amount of people who will benefit if the funds being wasted there is channeled to education and proper skills acquisition? People like you will see Lekki Lagos and then assume everyone in Lagos are rich and well to do. A poor country with extremely poor masses like Nigeria has no business building resorts like this. What we need is to draw as much people out of poverty as you can. It's after we have defeated poverty and created wealth that we should then allow private investors to drive such projects |

raymondFirstborn: This is understandable. But two months of intensive fabrication and you only come twice is that the usual thing?. I don't usually work on site. I do most of my fabrications at my workshop and then move with workers to site. Depending on the nature of the job, I can sleep over or leave same day while my workers do the installation. |

Akerewe: Wow! Interesting. U mean he's a MIDDLE MAN?? no wahala, this is a nice info, my background check continues he doesn't need to do the heavy lifting himself to be the fabricator. He can be engaged in more than two sites and wouldn't have to do the whole thing himself. I'm a welder and at any point in ti, I have two people working at my workshop daily. The more jobs I am engaged with, the extra hands I get. It doesn't make me a middleman or something like that Attached are pictures of two people who are working for me right now. Others are still engaged and others closed for the day

Bullfallo: Imagine the nerve this people have.
Why not refund the subscribers back their money since you ban it. That’s bridge of agreement. After they lalready subscribe 1 terabyte plan. They subscribe it because they can share the data. But now they cannot share the data.
Imagine someone paid 100k for data 1 terabyte. Then you suspend the sharing.
I’m currently affected since last week i called the customer care that Since they suspended data transfer from 1 terabyte atleast they should help me convert the data back to airtime. They said it’s not possible. How cam you make decisions like that without considering your customers.
This is day light robbery. Nigeria need to call the attention of NCC to this.
Seun, lalasticlala
Cc: Federal Republic of Nigeria. +234-209-461-7000 +234-209-461-7514 ncc@ncc.gov.ng INTERNATIONAL you people are just crying for nothing. Before now, you buy the router and subscribe for the plan, you get 4TB total data. 1.5TB for 100k and 2.5TB bonus data. Now everything is gone. Do not blame MTN, blame the Nigeria economy. Everything they're doing now is just so they might stay in business and stay profitable |

odimbannamdi: Well, they could be made with iron, but I doubt the quality of the iron can be compared to the ones used to do the normal burglary-proof in most of our homes. Look closely at that rung directly under the thief's leg as he comes out. See how easily it gave way for him to hoist himself out. I really doubt that is iron. It is just too flexible and amenable, even though I agree that the spaces in between are quite large
Michlins, i know this is your field. What are your thoughts I have said it that those aluminum profiles are the easiest to break. If security is important to you, you shouldn't do those things. It will only delay a thief but not stop him or her |
