It becomes a monopoly if the government extends such support to a particular individual or company and cripples his/its competition internally. USA and other countries are protecting some companies against competition from other countries in Huawei vs Apple, Tiktok vs Facebook.

But then, go read up on Antitrust cases when a company gets too big to kill competitors through monopoly and unwholesome tactics:

Closer looks of the welded components

The welding was done today

Starting a new project in Enugu this week. I intend to be on site on or before Wednesday.

I have procured the materials and also done the welding of some parts

No matter the number of sad tales that happens here, people are still delivering on jobs without the client breaking a sweat. The number of issues that occur here dwarfs in number of successful transactions that happen here. 90% of the time, the successful transactions are discussed here but end between client and contractor.

The foundation bolts and closer shot of the welded gussets

This morning, I proceeded to start working on the tank stand already. Welded the components parts together and made the foundation rods together. I usually use 25mm by 4ft rods

I took delivery of galvanized pipes for the step railings today too. We're doing something similar like the sample below

Base plates sizes are as follows 12" by 12" by 12mm, channels are 6 by 3 Ukraine, 4 by 2 and the angles are 2" by 4mm

Then came the materials for tank stand. Those ones came in very late at night. We're doing 38ft long tank stand with the capacity of carrying six(6) 500 gallons. The sample of the tank stand is below

Doing a total number of fifty six (56) doors. Forty eight (48) will be 3ft doors and the other eight ( will be 4ft doors

What I'm to do here are as follows; doors, handrails,step railings and tank stand.

I have started by purchasing the materials as the agreed time of delivery is two (2) months from date of mobilization which I intend to beat.

First set of materials to arrive were the 3 by 1½" pipes for the doors

Good evening everyone. It is with great pleasure and gratitude to God and the people of nairaland that I bring you this project.

I have thought about what to name it but I honestly don't have any idea. So because of the topography of the land where this project is sited plus the small river beside it that's how I came up with the name.

So few days ago (Thursday 20th of July 2023) that someone from this amazing site chatted me up and made inquiries about my services. So I went to the site the next day (I already had plans of coming to Enugu on the Friday) and took measurements of the building and what he might be needing there.

Submitted a quote and after vetting my ability to deliver,we moved on to the important part, negotiations and agreeing terms of payment. By the grace of God, I got the job and I was mobilized on Saturday afternoon.
