Are you kidding? These agreements give Trump huge respite till after mid-term eoections. These agreements are just so Trump can get through the elections. If Iran were not so desperate they should refuse any deal before the elections and let Trump be humiliated.

Iran had been laying mines in Hormuz years before the war. They didn't learn anything new.
US is the country that learnt lessons.
Hormuz and Hormuz-like terrorist attacks will now be taken into account in any war with a country like Iran. US lost some money but they have excess money, and the lessons they gained are worth more than the money, plus they made a lot of money exporting oil. Gulf States will now contribute immensely to their own defense and will be made Iran-proof. You can be sure the next US president that attacks Iran will not have those problems.

Of ciurse any agreement can be reneged upon or renegotiated (after mid-terms for example, or whenever).
And of course both sides will claim victory. So it boils down to who has CLEARLY had more permanent losses that are NOT reversible.
