Donsheddy: The lost of my phase 2 really hurt me but we ain't giving up.....
So I've decided to change some stuff in the way I trade....
I've increased my R.R to 1:3
With 35 pips I'm aiming for 105 pips In a trade....
I'm straight today to see what my progress will be....
During the challenge I noticed I was still battling with over trading and going against some of the rules like scalping and the rest....
Not an easy ride so far but we will try to be better....
So I will try to work on that now....
And learn how to accept losses....
My saddest reality.... All the best Boss. How did you pay for the challenge? My card is being rejected. |

Check the DXY out, it will give you additional confluence, and also check for your setups on 4HR then execute on 15 mins.
My opinion though. |

Zodiacwarrior: Yeah it could work I think the minimum grade for Nigerian students for community colleges is c6 of you have higher that that and apply early a spot should be reserved for you.
Hope this helps. Thanks. You're really helping. Does submitting SAT scores raise the chances of getting scholarships? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Micholo5(m): 8:35pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
Zodiacwarrior: Yes community colleges offer scholarship's to international student and no sat is not necessarily needed just your high school transcripts and waec results.
It really depends on the program you are going for as different colleges in Canada has different approach to each programs so try to research your program and which province and college is best suited for you.
Hope this helps. Thanks. BTW, I hold a NECO result. |

Education › Re: The Misconception That Only High Level Education Is A Guarantee For Success. by Micholo5(m): 7:02pm On Apr 10, 2021 |
Mikester: Though we have some exceptions, formal education isn't always a guarantee for success especially in a country like Nigeria in this fast changing world.
Apparently, a large number of people especially in Nigeria believe that all the problems of life is only solved in the classroom which is an extremely poor way of reasoning as we have a lot of graduates who spent quality years of their lives at school with nothing solid to show for it except for knowledge of facts and figures and maybe by grace, a mediocre job.
Most graduates with good degrees are painfully left without jobs and some who managed to find one end up with low paying jobs given the circumstances, some even get employed by people who never attained the level of education they have.
Another obvious thing is that when most students graduate, they graduate at ages society deem old enough to settle and be financially independent such as ages between 27 - 35 - ages that seem like a bad and delayed start for life establishment especially as a man.
I mean if a guy graduates at such age,
At when will he get a job? When then will he be financially stable? When will he have enough to build a home? When will he have enough to cater for a family? Won't it most likely translate to perpetual poverty if he closes his eyes and starts a family?
And if a lady graduates at such age?
At when will she be financially independent if it is her desire? When will she settle, will she dump her certificate and start to seek for a man as the recent demonstration of most ladies have shown?
And why will someone especially a random guy despite seeing all that is happening in the country choose to underestimate early skill acquisition and business learning and choose to spend his adulthood gaining more facts just to come out hustling like a drop out?
Personally, I disagree with the belief that ONLY higher education is a guarantee for success in terms of money making especially in a country like Nigeria where there are scarcity of jobs for most courses being taught in schools.
Higher education though is good, useful and efficacious, isn't an assurance for financial stability and time is crucial for everyone especially the ambitious and smart people who value it and won't choose to venture into anything they deem unproductive or likely to have less chances of success.
Better to use the early years to learn a lucrative skill or business and put it into use before the late ages than to spend a long period of time in the classroom only to come out to start hustling like a drop out.
My opinion isn't for everyone though as some people still make it through formal education but I'm just being realistic.
Out of every 200 graduates, about 20 only end up with better paying jobs, mostly based on connections. We see it in our hood everyday. Quite a issue to consider by someone who intends to start life and turn out successfully in due time.
I believe that formal education like every other form of education is just a plus to our knowledge while self education and discovery is what guarantees how far we will go in terms of money making.
Those who made fortunes today did so out of self discovery and not necessarily formal education.
Let us discover what suits us best so as not to burn our fingers later on.
I mean what do you think? Skill Acquisition is key, the Nigerian Education system does not offer value. In most cases, you'll be paid for what you can do. |

I dont understand. For instance,If you make an order on Jumia and decide against home delivery, the order will be taken to a pick up station where you can then get your order. many of these pick up stations are private owned. the owners just liaise with Jumia. |

I have been nursing this idea - pickup station, for a while now. The idea is to poise as a station for e-commerce sites where customers can come to pick up their goods.
I need the input of the Nairaland people. Is the idea viable? Do you think its profitable? |

Does anyone know how to get NECO to send my result to WES for evaluation other than going to their office. They have not been forthcoming on mails. |
Travel › Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Micholo5(m): 10:47am On Aug 08, 2020 |
drDoom3: It depends.
Most schools require or recommend the SAT. Some claim to be test optional, but will hold it against you if you dont submit test scores. If you are applying only to top schools and no HBCUs, then you won't need an evaluation.
I haven't seen anyone use their NECO results, but I think you can use it. The problem with NECO is that they rarely give As, so even the best students have average transcripts. I am looking at some HBCUs, so I guess I have to take the evaluation. |
Travel › Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Micholo5(m): 10:42am On Aug 08, 2020 |
Friedpotato: for admission. You need SAT and a transcript (this can be either a high school transcript or an evaluated WAEC result)
It's the same way you need WAEC and JAMB. What you said up there is like saying "since I have WAEC then I don't have to take JAMB or vice versa" Thanks for the tip. |
Travel › Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Micholo5(m): 9:34am On Aug 08, 2020 |
Friedpotato: I don't really get you but SAT is alone. Evaluation can be done for both WAEC/NECO.
While all naces.org members evaluates WAEC, Some naces.org members also evaluates NECO but you'd have to check them yourself. I have this notion that if I take the SAT, then I would need no evaluation. Is this right? |
Travel › Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Micholo5(m): 8:55am On Aug 08, 2020 |
Friedpotato: you don't want to take the SAT, you don't want to evaluate.
In this journey, some commitments and sacrifices ought to be made. Cc: Drdoom3 can tell you that because this is his second year of application.
I think the SAT is still open this year, to have a shot at those big schools you mention or even smaller schools, please take the SAT. If you're planning to apply to HBCUs, you can target the ones that don't need evaluation but to be on the safest side, evaluate. Because you might find out that they issue full ride with 1100 SAT and 3.5 GPA. Someone with that stats will get it but you with 1500 and 3.9 unevaluated GPA won't get it.
Make some investments. You can't expect to have everything free and rely on luck. It might work but if you can increase your chances, please do. Is is usually SAT or Evaluation, or both? What advice do you have for a NECO result holder? |
