a plane crashed in an uninhabited island and there was only one survivor. He was desperate and prayed to God to rescue him and hoping everyday that somebody will come to help but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of woods and grass to protect himself from the bad weather.

one day, after looking out for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up the sky. The worst had happend and everything was lost. He was stuned with disbelief, grief and anger.

'God how could you do this to me?' he cried.

Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him.

'how did u know i was here?' asked the survivor to his rescuers 'we go ur smoke signal' they replied.

Its easy to get discouraged when things are going bad but we shouldnt lose hope. Trust in God, even in the midst of pain and suffering.

Always remember that whenever you're hurt, it seems to be burning to the ground, it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God..
