Thanks for your good advice, anyway I told the vo have traveled to Ethiopia about 6 times, turkey and Togo, Ghana, don't just know why she called me back and start typing by telling me sorry and she even took back my passport and refusal paper from me, after typing for about 5 min, she just shake her head and say so so sorry reapply

I apply for a b1/b2. And was refused officer says I'm not qualify. I don't know what went wrong but this is what happen. I am Human Resource Manager in audit and Tax firm in Lagos and my wife also HR manager of an investment and asset management company a known organisation.


On the 10/12/2019 was my interview 6:45am

VO:Good morning
ME:Good morning how are you doing today?
VO:Can I have your passport
ME: I gave the passport to him well arranged since we are three my wife and I and my four year old son
VO: why do you want to travel to the US
ME:We are going on family vacation to Minnesota to visit mall of America at Bloomington in Minnesota,because my son is a lover of nickelodeon characters and we want to also as family have a good holiday time together.
VO: what do you do.
ME: I'm human Resources manager with xxxx and I manage overall aspect of admin and HR related matter of the firm I work for
VO:ok
VO:Have you traveled before
ME:Yes, I have been to United Kingdom to study University of Aberdeen Scotland precisely and I also met my darling wife why studying as well at Robert Gordon university same in Aberdeen and we even had our marriage in England afterwards when we finished our study while working with post study visa permit.
VO: Great
VO:Have you made any itinerary plan?
ME: No;but over the weekend we saw an affordable flight ticket which we pre-booked (showed him the paper)and waiting for the outcome of our interview to know if we can proceed with payment.
we have also made bookings with hotel in Bloomington for eight nights with confirmation letter as mentioned in our Ds160 form
VO: madam what do you do
My wife: I am Human Resources manager of xxxxxx in Lagos and I oversee all the HR operations of the company
VO:Is this your only child
ME and WIFE: Yes
VO: Ok
VO: Saying hello to my son
MY SON : Hello .......the young boy said please I want to go to adventure bay to see paw patrol
VO: Ok

He kept typing for over 2minutes Next he said you are not eligible for US visa this time with a yellow paper and roughly pushed our passports to me and I said thank have nice day,but I was sad.

The next was my son knew the sadness on our faces and started crying till Opic begger from the embassy

You actually worth it but seems the VO is not in mood to issue the visa at that time.......

Give it time and apply alone!

I finally linked my account. Below are the messages I saw on my dashboard. Note I have received BVL... The BVL hasn't updated in my dashboard. It still tells me I don't need biometrics. What's the interpretation of this please

"We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you"

You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Since you have received bvl 5 days ago without final decision up till now, not a good sign but be positive

I always advice people to migrate if they can.

Nigeria should be one of the best country in the world with all the natural resources endowed but our past and present leaders has messed everything up.

Nigerians need to start taking the blames.
The problem Nigerians are facing at the embassy now is not all about the economy situation in the country, Nigerians in diaspora are not left out, they also have messed things up for the genuine travellers too.

Nigeria itself will be ashamed of its citizens

Yes I did biometric on the 29-11-2019!
I wish i could just take off my mind towards this waiting process!! I hate anything delays or waiting! Although God is in control-Mine & any other person visa application would end in praises.

You have to wait
CIC start reviewing your application the day you did your biometric which is Nov 29, that's just like a week away, so just be positive.

I submitted my application without a tax clearance.

Why did it take so long someone to provide me an answer?

Include tax clearance if you have one but if otherwise, is not mandatory
