nacosprof:No confusion about what you said, Mr man. Well, in this case, no one prides himself as a "lion" here. Do you know what the scripture says, Matthew 23:12 " And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted". |
harbeedaymee:Oba doesn't have only one opa ase (staffs), same with irukere and Ade ( crown). Although the royal and ancestral crown called " Ade Aa'are" worn by Oduduwa is worn once in a year by Ooni. Look at Oduduwa below and see how Ooni dresses.

GEJ2019:Lol.. He has been an activist long before APC as a party was birthed. |
Give it to him because he is good at what he does, "Investigative journalism". He hit the nation’s consciousness, and headlines, with his fiery activism when he led the Students Union Government of the University of Lagos, Akoka, between 1992 and 1994. Since that baptism of fire, which peaked with the relentless national and global agitation for the revalidation of the June 12, 1993 presidential vote, won by the late Bashorun M. K. O Abiola, Omoyele Sowore never looked back. While most of his colleagues chose the glittering broad way of life, the Ondo State-born activist voted for the narrow way. He voted for a path strewn with thorns and boulders. He chose a Spartan life, a life of vigorous and sometimes aggressive action in pursuing happiness and wellness of the greatest number of the people. For his efforts, he got arrested and detained in various jailhouses eight times. He almost died in Abacha’s gulag. But he never buckled. Rather, the torture and excruciating pains of incarceration toughened him so much they became like narcotics needed to spur him to higher and more demanding levels of activism. Finally, he left Nigeria for America, not for the much-vaunted American dream but to search for channels and opportunities that would further equip him in the struggle for a better Nigeria. In the process, he founded the popular social media network, Sahara Reporters, which has become the biggest and the most popular platform for citizens’ journalism for Nigerians wherever they may be on the globe. In its short span of existence, saharareporters.com has become what some people appropriately label the Wikileak of Africa. Sowore is an indigene of Ondo State in South West Nigeria. He was born on February 16, 1971 in the Niger Delta region of the country where he was also raised. He studied geography and planning at the University of Lagos and holds a master's degree in public administration from Colombia University. He teaches Modern African History at the City University of New York and Post Colonial African History at the School of Art, New York. Few Remarks about Omoyele; ~Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN SAM. Says; Let me begin by stating unequivocally that the personage, Omoyele Sowore, like every human, is susceptible to the frailties and fallibility inherent in the human nature. He is equally not immuned from the vulgarities of life which inhibits all mortals from attaining the status of sainthood associated with angels and the supernatural being - God. ~Former media advicer to Late President Umaru Yar'adua, Segun Adenyi wrote this about Omoyele; "Within the Villa, it had become a constant irritant because it was evident there were moles within who were feeding the website information on the status of the health of the president. Some people considered me the prime suspect. But when the website began to publish information I could not possibly have, then the realization dawned that the sources must be closer than they imagined". ~In the same vein, former media advicer to immediate Past President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Dr. Reuben Abati has this to say about sahara reporters founder; "He always insisted, however, that he had his facts, and that he knew more insiders than I could ever imagine. I was always shocked how State House documents and inside stories regularly found their way to his desk, and how on the day the President’s brother died, he had published the story even before anyone in Aso Rock knew". ~Oga Jarus of Jarushub has this to say about Omoyele; "I think the ungentleman deserves some accolades". If the story of the end of PDP's reign of terror is written, Sahara Reporters will take half of the pages. I am one of the few people that believe that Sahara Reporters are never an APC or PDP outfit, but an anti-bad governance medium. I have reservations about their sometimes rushing to publish stories without completing the investigations leading to occasional inaccuracies (and their gaffes are very few and far between - which they don't apologize for), but you have to give it to this media outlet as one of the pillars of democracy in Nigeria. Let me also quote this, "Omoyele Sowore represents different things to different people depending on ones social, economic and political leaning. To the corrupt politicians, the ruling class and their paid and unpaid apologists, Sowore is a tool in the hands of the opposition - a wild, unsubstantiated and indefensible charge that is yet to be proven with cogent and verifiable evidence. However, to the incorruptible and liberated victims of misrule, corruption and dictatorship, he represents the audacious candle that brightens the scars inflicted on the soul of our nation". Happy Birthday to Mr. Omoyele Sowore. Let me also use this singular opportunity to wish lalasticlala happy (2*) years of existience on earth. ![]() Oga seun, lalasticlala, ishlove, and the political moderators; OAM4J and Mynd44 http://www.theelitesng.com/as-sahara-reporters-publisher-omoyele-sowore-turns-45-today/

[quote author=Chinom post=42958680]You are so daaaamn stoopid !!.This was exactly what I was talking about. Everybody and anybody who has a different opinion has "Bad Belle". I never want people like you around me anyway. To you she is already a 'Super model'. As far as I am concerned, she does not measure up at all. The whole hype has to do with her being an Agege Bread seller. There are even rumours that the whole thing was set up by TY. Of course she had to be an Agege bread seller. A 'sweet sensation' bread seller has no chance. Boo to gullible people.[/quot Gerrout.... Idiot, see what he is even saying self. "There are even rumours that the whole thing was set up by TY". It is people like you that can not give a dime, yet you see everybody that gives, as crook and selfish like you. Now, swerve. Chronic bad belle grade 1!! |

Hi Nlanders, happy Sunday. Yea, today ain't mother's day but I feel everyday is a day of gratitudes to some mothers, if not all. At least carrying us for nine good months and the life taking labour room stories. Hmn, is it about our upkeep, what we wear, our daily bath, struggle to brush our teeths before we eat, which has saved us from brown teeths, our nails, uniforms, what we eat even when most dads are no where to be found, either with another woman or simply running from responsibilities. In fact mothers are too much.Check the pictures, reflect on your past and appreciate your mother today. First, Second, third and fourth Pictures: A mother's love.. Even if she has 20 children and no matter the poverty, hunger can't kill her children. Cc:lalasticlala, seun, ishlove and RoyalRoy.

Good morning Nlanders and happy Sunday.. I read this morning a two years story of how the Cameronian President, Paul biya shut down over 100 fake and fraudulent churches in Cameroon and I felt Nigeria more than any other country needs such measure. The height of deceit on the pulpit is becoming intolerable. Fake churches are now everywhere with all sorts of names to defraud gullible ones. I believe the fight against corruption should not only stops at the desk of the politicians but be spread to the numerous spiritual racketeers disguising as men of God. The rising influence of fake and backslidden pastors and churches in Nigeria had caused a lot of faithful to lose faith in God especially when they discover the lies and deceits about these pastors. Over the years, there has been series of expose on false prophets, few of which includes; ‘Nigerian Churches and the Rising Influence of Marine Spirits part 1&2’; ‘My Hero Pastor is a False Prophet parts 1&2’; ‘New Style Prophets and their Visions of Phone Numbers, Bank Details and Ladies Underwear’; ‘Backslidden Pastors and The Patronage of a Port Harcourt Based Occult Woman’ among others Just check the name of these scam centres called churches. A guy wrote this few years ago, "I FOUND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THE NAMES OF THESE CHURCHES EXIST UNTIL SOME FRIENDS CONFIRMED SOME NAMES! BELOW ARE THE NAMES: Jesus OF GOD( IMO STATE) GOD'S MENNONITE CHURCH GUIDED MISSILES GOD CHURCH Jesus IN THE NOW GLOBAL MINISTRY HEALING HAS BEGUN MINISTRY GOD'S OWN MINISTRY THE TRUE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH JEHOVAH SHARP SHARP (FESTAC, LAGOS) HURRICANE MIRACLE HEALING TSUNAMI MINISTRRY SATAN IN TROUBLE MINISTRY FIRE FOR FIRE MINISTRY FIST OF FURY( NTA ROAD P/H) RUN FOR YOUR LIFE MINISTRY THE YOKE MUST BROKE MINISTRY FACE TO FACE MINISTRY Jesus HEAL MINISTRY ANGEL ON FIRE CHAPEL OF PEACE LIQUID FIRE MINISTRY( SULEJA , NIGER STATE ) BY FIRE BY FIRE MINISTRY HOLY FIRE OVER FLOW MINISTRIES DAVID KILLED GOLIATH MINISTRY HOUSE OF JEHOVAH'S PADAWANS ( TRANSAMADII P/H) Jesus IN HIS MIGHTINESS GLOBAL MINISTRIES OPM- OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY (P/H) GOD IN ACTION MINISTRIES MOVING MOUNTAIN GOSPEL CHURCH MY BROTHER IS A CHRISTAIN CHURCH OF GOD FELLOWSHIP OF THE WINGS- AJAH (LANGBASA) POWER FOUNDATION MINISTRIES - ABA HOLY GHOST ON FIRE MINISTRIES ( ABUJA) HIGH TENSION MINISTRIES Jesus NEVER BLEEP UP MINISTRY (BENIN DEVIL GO HEAR AM Jesus MINISTRY ACCREDITED CHURCH OF GOD CHUKWUDI AND SON EVANGELICAL MINISTRY - ABA POWER PASS POWER CHURCH OF THE MOUNTAIN MINISTRY INCORPORATED MINISTRY OF Unclad WIRE - BAYELSA STATE LABORATORY CHURCH OF GOD GO AND TELL AHAB THAT ELIJAH IS HERE MINISTRIES- BENIN GOD IS REAL MINISTRY FIRE BURN FIRE MINISTRIES Jesus THE LANDLORD, WE THE RELAXING PEW MINISTRY- PORTHARCOURT HAPPY GO LUCKY CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD IN Jesus NAME AMEN- ABEOKUTA OLD TIME RELIGION MINISTRY STRONG HAND OF GOD MINISTRY BEST SPOT IN THE LAND OF GOD CHURCH - APAPA TRIGGER HAPPY MINISTRY( MOTTO: ALWAYS FIRING THE DEVIL) KASABUBU CHURCH OF GOD- IBADAN Jesus KNOWS HIS CHILDREN MINISTRY - BENIN SEVEN THUNDERS OF Jesus PERFECT CHRISTAINITY MINISTRY ELSHADAI SHALL NOT DIE MINISTRY I think the Cameronian approach is commendable and should be borrowed by the Nigerian govt to help flush and sanitize this spiritual fraudsters and biblical racketeers, who keep flooding the country by the day. More than anything, it should be a good riddance to bad rubbish. #MyTake Cc: lalasticlala, seun and OAM4J.
