PoliticsWhat Does The North Has To Show For Over 35years Of Leading Nigeria? by MidasT(op): 10:26am On Dec 04, 2013
I just read the rantings of some depraved lunatics, that said CAN vis-a-vis GEJ is waging war on the muslims in Nigeria. As inciting and baseless as that statement is, the Mods in their folly left such a thread that is possible of causing another religious uprising. Obviously, the northerns are at it again, but this time under the guise of Sharia council. The thing is this people are hell bent on returning power to the north, not minding if the country is razed to the ground. But, this same people have been leading Nigeria aided by the barrel of the Gun for over 35years. What do they have to show for it. I believe any future negotiation on power shift to the north should be base on performance, otherwise, let the popular candidate win irrespective of where he is from.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria State Waging War On Islam And Moslems- Sharia Supreme Council by MidasT(m): 9:57am On Dec 04, 2013
Its as if the MODs are failing in their duty. How could you leave a thread like this that is a clear clarion call to muslims to assualt christains and their interest around Nigeria. because some depraved lunatic that has a nairaland account and a nokia asha phone thinks he can read and write, doesnt mean u MODs should allow such baseless and inciting thread remain on this forum. I have long suspected these MODs of being anti-GEJ and anti-christains. And utterly bias. Very soon, its lunatic like urselves that u will find on N/L. Just imagine how this thread will affect the psyche of a teenager! Mods be warned
PoliticsWe Need To Build Drones For The Army To Cambat The Menace Of Boko Haram by MidasT(op): 9:59am On Dec 03, 2013
It is high time nairalander put their engineering and ict skills to use by building surveillance drones for the Nigerian Army to enable them effective curb the menace of Boko Haram, following on Monday's surprise attack on the Nigeria Airforce base. Information filtering in, said that the insurgents used dirt roads in the villages to enter maiduguri. Not ruling out the role of saboteurs in the security agencies, the presence of drones will effectively help the security agencies to monitor the movements of BH. Here is a rundown of the specification of the proposed drone. *can be airborne for six hours, *fitted with HD camera with night vision *should be able to transmit live feed back to control station. Etc. This is serious biz please!

Pls if u are down with this like, MODs send our resolution to every national dailies and also make it FP. Thanks.

Sincere 9gerian: Shame on the Nigerian military. How can they be on ground for over 6 months yet the ragtag bandits called Boko Haram still have the boldness and freedom to attack places that should have been no go areas. I'm highly disappointed. I wonder what would have happened without the civillian JTF. Maybe its time we started looking for mercenaries to fight this battle for us(after all all the major projects currently going on got the country are being done by mercenaries). Very shameful

PoliticsRe: TeamGEJ Is Winning On Nairaland. APC e-Soldiers Defecting! by MidasT(op): 3:56pm On Dec 01, 2013
Abagworo: All I have to say and mark it today that if 2015 election is not clearly won without any form of cheating, many of the big names that have benefited from the corruption in our system will die violently and there will be widespread massacre. The army will disobey the president and the entire workforce in Nigeria will go on permanent strike. This is a prediction by me. Even a dummy will know how accurate my prediction will be.

NB. I belong to no political party but I've written as a Nigerian who loves Nigeria with all my heart.
Prophet of doom, am very sure u are an offspring of the Doomsday General Buhari. Nor worry, all of una go shame. Bad belle people. U just tactically conceded defeat, #TeamGEJ till 2019. grin

The last couple of days has witnessed fierce battle between #TeamGEJ and #TeamAPC. Though Team GEJ started slowly, they have been able to overshadow, and overcome teamAPC, wit for wit, info for info, strategy for strategic, propaganda for propaganda. Now, TeamGEJ reigns supreme on nairaland, as we welcome defecting e-soldiers from TeamAPC into our fold. I want to assure u, that u people have done the right thing defecting; as ur governors will still come back cap in hand, and tail between their legs. TeamGEJ till 2019.
PoliticsIf OBJ Had Died, Would Atiku Have Agreed To One Tenure by MidasT(op): 1:18pm On Dec 01, 2013
Fellow country men of Nairaland, its time to be honest with ourselves. If OBJ had died during his first tenure as president of Nigeria, would Atiku have agreed to run for one tenure only, when he is entitled to two? Would the north ask him to step down or carry on with his two constitutionally allowed and guaranteed tenure? Honest opinions please, not hating #APC.
PoliticsWe have defeated Boko Haram and ASUU; what Next. #TeamGEJ by MidasT(op):
It is no longer news that some prominent Nigerians in the wake of their defeat to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, vowed to make the country ungovernable for him. The first dog that was draft towards fulfilling their vow was the dreaded terrorist group Boko Haram. Though they were in existence before, the activities sky rocketed with deadly attacks targeted at christains living in the north. Emboldened by their successes, they started targeting security formations and barracks. Only God knew why President GEJ waited for so long a time before he decleared state of emergency in those three states. Knowing that the demise of Boko Haram is certain by the declearation, they quickly drafted ASUU to continue the onslaught on the GEJ administration. And we are all witnesses of ASUU uncompromising stand, despite all effort by the president to make them see reasons with him. Now ASUU is falling like a pack of cards; what next are they releasing from their arsenal? Do they have any ace up their sleeve? GEJ shall overcome #APC.

PoliticsRe: Ongoing Anambra Supplementary Elections: APC Deceitful Tactics Exposed!!! by MidasT(m): 6:29pm On Nov 30, 2013
This is a pure evidence of the desperation of APC: power at all cost for their selfish interest, while at the same time deceiving and disinforming those they claim to represent their interest. I stick to my assertion that the men working the parties are not different from the parties, whether it be PDP, APC, or in whatever name they come. Naija for life
PoliticsIs The Current ASUU Strike Politically Motivated? by MidasT(op):
From all indication, it appears that this present ASUU strike is politically motivated; Because they want the GEJ administration to make all the problems of University education in Nigeria disappear overnight. The FG has shifted ground several times to accomodate some of the genuine concerns of ASUU, but the later has remained resolute to toe the hard uncompromising line. To me, and several other well meaning Nigerians, ASUU is just a dog drafted into the fight promised by some highly placed Nigerians to make the country ungovernable for president GEJ, all to the intent of discrediting and defacing the GEJ administration; and to demoralized millions of Nigerian youth that forms the bedrock of support for the GEJ administration.
PoliticsRe: 31 Reasons Why Buhari Does Not Deserve Your Vote by MidasT(m): 3:30am On Nov 30, 2013
Bros u dont need to talk much, cos those yoruba over-literate people nor go hear you. They have suffered the most from this religious bigot called buhari, and they are still the one clapping and singing for him all in the name of #APC. When buhari go release those almajiris for religious violence again, even the muslim yoruba will not be spared. Once bitten, twice shy.

HisRib: Just the other day, I learned a few things about Mugabe that made me have so much respect for him and his country. He might be crazy, but that man loves his people & his country. Who knew Zimbabwe was the most educated country in Africa, with a 90% literacy?
The hallmark of a leader with foresight! While would-be-leader of the nomeclature of the Doomsday General (Buhari) are busy fustrating the effort of the FG to get the Almajiris of the streets; so that they would have enuff foot soldier to prosecute their senseless wars on hardworking christains living in the north. When it comes to, even the yoruba muslim are not speared. I laugh them in chinese #APC

You can sell your shallow reasoning to those aboki that only understand religious violence! Look at pot calling kettle black.
PoliticsRe: Time For APC To Prove Their Progressiveness And Make Amaechi Thier Flag Bearer by MidasT(m): 7:50pm On Nov 27, 2013
[quote
author=Donmams]Now that the G7 have officially joined the APC train
(worry not, even Lamido and Babangida Aliyu will soon join), the plot to
remove Jonathan in the 2015 elections should be underway immediately.
There are 20 northern states (if you include Abuja) and GEJ will be
hoping to get 25% of the votes in the north just as he did in 2011.
However, this time, the difference is that GEJ no longer has the support
of the G-7 governors who tactically engineered the required 25% of
northern votes he needed to successfully rig the 2011 elections.
In addition, to show the world just how politically naive he is, GEJ
decided to marginalize the entire South West in the scheme of his gov't
in favour of the SE despite the fact that GEJ got over 70% of SW votes
in 2011. Right now the SW, has aligned with the north and is set to
deliver a crushing blow to the GEJ in 2015.
The objective for 2015 is simple. Deny Jonathan the much sought after
25% in the South West and North and the elections will be over in the
very first round. No run off will ever be needed.
In 2011, the northern governors were in full support of Atiku before GEJ
made the memorable threat to 'sink' the PDP ship with everyone on it if
the northern governors refused to support him. Now the threat is no
longer viable. The governors have left the PDP and have challenged GEJ
to sink the Ship! Unfortunately for GEJ this time around, he's the only
one on it!
The mistake the north made in 2011 was not coming out en masse to vote
for the CPC by averaging a voter turnout of just 50% in the entire
region. In 2015, just like the PDP managed to mobilize over 90% of the
eligible voters of the South South and South East to vote, the north
will make sure we mobilize over 95% of our eligible voters to vote out
GEJ and the bandit party PDP in the 2015 election.
A 2/3rd majority in the 36 states plus Abuja means for the APC to win by
landslide in 2015, the APC needs at least 24 states. The APC is
guaranteed 25% in all but 2 northern states(Plateau and Benue). That
makes 18 states. What is left to make up 24 states is just 6 states.
Luckily, the north has aligned itself with the South West. As an added
bonus, the SW with 6 states will provide the 25% needed to make up the
balance. In addition, the governors of Rivers, Edo and Rivers are also
members of the APC who will bring further votes in 2015. GEJ can have
100% of the votes of the South South and South East(minus Imo). It will
make no difference.
If GEJ and his advisers had half a brain they would have told him that
he could not afford to let the G7 governors flee. But as things stand,
GEJ, and in extension the SS and SE is toast politically.
Never will the NORTH/SW AXIS TRUST THE SS/SE AGAIN[/quote]the analysis of a MUMU, u think is all about the governors? what did u even study in school? that is if u even went to one. a fool is considered wise if he keeps quiet. u have not been groom enough to comment on this forum. pls go and use 2go!

A blind man leading the blind; they will both fall into the ditch. Alhaji Ameachi has just been used by the Boko people to scuttle the chances of the southern Nigeria, and now he is attributing is selfish desire to oil wells! These northern leaders should be ashamed; what do they have to show for being in power for over 35 years? They underdeveloped, looted, demoralized and defaced the country, now Ameachi is dancing to their tune to wrestle power back, so that they can lord over the resources they dont have. Ameachi will forever regret. Watch how this will play out in the next one month.
PoliticsRe: How Diezani Alison-madueke Plans To Sell Refineries To Fronts by MidasT(m): 12:56pm On Nov 27, 2013
Pangea: Your point maybe valid in a non monopolistic environment, but naija is a different ball game entirely, what works to the benefit of the people in other clime have a way of failing woefully in this country.
For example we are yet to enjoy the benefits of privatisation of cement companies, even the telecoms companies are having a pseudo monopolistic arrangement and the people are paying the highest call rates in the world. There are many other examples, so what is the guarantee that the most important economic commodity - fuel will not be subject to these same evil pattern?
Mumu, ur scale is one sided. The gains of privitization u have tactically avoided. because u can speak and write english, u think u can talk gibberish and be applauded.
PoliticsRe: How Diezani Alison-madueke Plans To Sell Refineries To Fronts by MidasT(m): 10:59am On Nov 27, 2013
Do we really have refineries in Nigeria? Nigerians forget things easily, especially this our generation. Do u know how many billions of dollars that have been poured into these refineries in the name of turnaround maintenance; and the status quo remains? Of a truth, the refineries are drain pipes in several was and are one of the reasons for the perpetuation of subsidy fraud because they are non-functional. If nigerian nationals have the resources to purchase these refineries, i think it is more preferable and better than indians and chinese buying them. What we should guard againts though is not getting good value for our national assets
