For all those supporting PDP/GEJ to rule again. I have one My prayer and prophesy for you is:

May your life, family, finances/businesses be ruled and managed the way PDP as ruled and managed Nigeria for 12 years. (I expect you to say amen if not you are a hypocrite).

If you don't say amen to that as a PDP/GEJ supporter then why are you supporting and wishing it for your mother land.(Sorry I forgot that you are not a full Nigerian).
Nairaland / General / Police Invade Court , Re-arrest Acn Gubernatorial Candidate by midep: 6:48pm On Mar 31, 2011
About 75 mobile policemen today forcefully re-arrested the Akwa Ibom State gubernatorial candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), John Akpanudoedehe, in the premises of the Federal High Court, Abuja. The incident took place moments after he was granted bail by the court in the "treason” charge before Justice Adamu Bello.

Senator Akpanudoedehe was briskly moved from the court to the police headquarters and then flown to Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, where the police plan to charge him for murder.

Earlier, SaharaReporters reported that Senator Akpan Udoedehe had been granted bail by Justice Bello. Despite the injunction granted by Justice Bello restraining the Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim, from re-arresting the ACN candidate, we reported that he was perfecting a plan to re-arrest him and charge him with murder.

Senator Udoedehe was arrested a day after mass violence broke out in Uyo and Ikot-Ekpene leading to widespread destruction of public property and deaths.

Opposition members in the state and senior members of the ACN have condemned the orchestrated clampdown against Senator Udoedehe and his supporters in the state.

According to reports, the IGP reportedly received N500 million from the state governor, Goodswill Akpabio, to help remove Udoedehe from circulation.

Politics / Is Goodluck Jonathan Bribing PDP Delegates With FG Funds? by midep: 8:14am On Oct 28, 2010
Us Military Strategists Claim Jonathan Is "bribing" $13,000 Per Pdp Delegate

Global Information System, a privately run thinktank of retired U.S. military strategists, has published a report attacking the government of Goodluck Jonathan for the “corruption of the Nigerian political process, now in full swing.”

http://saharareporters.com/news-page/pdp-primaries-us-military-strategists-claim-jonathan-bribing-13000-pdp-delegate

Massive corruption using state funds reported in Nigerian presidential race
The corruption of the Nigerian political process is now in full swing: major payments are now being made to each of the delegates of the political parties, particularly the overwhelmingly large ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP), who decide the primary elections which then select the party candidate for the presidential elections in 2011. Moreover, the incumbent President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is bribing PDP delegates out of Federal Government funds, making most of the party delegates wealthy enough to buy a new home with the bribery funds.

Politics / Jonathan Sacks Goc's, Brigade Of Guard Commanders by midep: 2:57pm On Sep 24, 2010
In what appears to be a confirmation of Pointblanknews.com exclusive report about security concerns in Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the removal of the GOC’s of all the Nigerian Army divisions and the Brigade of Guard commanders with immediate effect.

This is even as Pointblanknews.com gathered from a top United States diplomat that the United States has started monitoring security situation in Nigeria ahead of the 2011 general elections.

President had few weeks ago relieved all the service chiefs of their appointments and replaced the director general of the state security services and the inspector general of police.

Pointblanknews.com had exclusively reported secret moves capable of jeopardizing the Nigeria’s democracy by some Northern elements few hours after President Goodluck declared his interest in contesting the 2011 Presidential election.

The move as reported by pointblanknews.com according to highly placed sources, in the event of a crisis, the North plan to take full advantage of its population in the Military and take over. The source had said “they would also take advantage of the fact that the new Army chief, General Onyeabo Azubuike Ihejirika is yet to ‘settle’ down, coupled with the fact that some key officers are still loyal to the sacked Army chief, Gen Abdulrahman Dambazzau.”

But in a move aimed checkmating such plans couple with latest unfavorable security reports obtained while the president was attending the United Nations General Assembly, President Jonathan relieved the GOC’s of their positions.

The sacked GOC’s includes: Major General KA Role, 1st Division , headquartered in Kaduna in the north-west, Major General Lawrence Ngubane, 2nd Division (HQ Ibadan in the South-West, includes 32 Artillery Brigade at Abeokuta ), Major General Saleh Maina, 3rd Armored Division (HQ Rukuba Cantonment, Jos in the North-East, and including 21 Armored Brigade Maiduguri , 23 Brigade Yola , and 33 Artillery Brigades. Major General Eugene Nwanjuma 81st Division (Amphibious) HQ in Lagos, which includes the 9th Brigade, based at the Ikeja compound in Lagos.

Also sacked is Major General MD Isah, 82nd Division (Airborne and Amphibious) HQ in Enugu in the South-East, which includes the 2 Brigade at Port Harcourt, 13 Brigade at Calabar and the 34 Artillery Brigade at Obinze / Owerri . The Composite Division at Enugu was formed in 1964 as 4th Infantry Division, in 1975 became Lagos Garrison Organization; in 1981 became 4th Composite Division; became a Composite Division in May 2002.

Meanwhile, United States Secretary of States, Hilary Clinton met with President Goodluck Jonathan behind closed doors for almost 40 minutes in New York. Although details of the meeting was not made known to reporters but a source who accompanied Mrs. Clinton to the closed door meeting told pointblanknews.com that the discussions centered on the 2011 elections in Nigeria.

The source who would not want to be named confirmed that issues bothering on Nigeria’s internal security was also part of the discussion.

“Madam Secretary had a very important discussion with the President of Nigeria and you know elections in that country is near and the United States is interested in Nigeria’s security mostly because of the very important role it plays in Africa,” the source told Pointblanknews.com.

The source added, “U.S is monitoring events in Nigeria as the elections approaches and information already received are not too healthy.”

Presidential spokesman, Ima Niboro who confirmed the sacking of the GOC’s said the decision was in line with the desire of the president to properly reposition the Army in line with federal character. SOURCE POINTBLANKS.COM

Career / Tony Elumelu Slavery Master by midep: 3:18pm On Jan 30, 2008
My fellow Nairalanders what am about telling you is nothing but the fact so i will appreciete a very meaning ful contribution.

TOE has fondly called by his disciples is a man with no heart at all, after he went to Polytechnic and graduated with Pass and later to University and graduated with 3rd class he still has the audacity to discriminate between the H.N.D and B.Sc wat an Irony of life. My annoyance is the new policy of other Banks not to recognise contact staff experience mainly pple frm UBA hw i wish the Nigerians wake up and fight this fight once and for all and this is very simple without us thier will not b them. NBTE shld mandate all polytechnic to stop Banking with UBA , NANS to instruct SUG, SUG to Department als, Departmentals to Associations and association to everyhousehold lets those who have relation stop Banking with the Evil Genius in the Banking SectorTONY ELUMELU and let see hw he can survive it. Our Gov also must wake up to thier responsibilities if they dont want the NIGERDELTA ISSUE to b in every part of the country cos a lazy hand they say is the devil workshop.

Lets make UBA cum TOE as an example for being the only Bank that discriminate btw the H.N.D and B.Sc. I herad frm a reliable source that the Senate called him to do sometin abt his contract staff and he cme out again with UBA SERVICES Na wa 4 dis GUY o abeg make una no allow him kill our pple in the slavery word.
