Wow! this is a strange one cos most women that i know love to wear their rings and they flaunt it before anyone who cares to see it. On the contrary, the male folk are the ones that i know are guilty of removing their rings shortly after the wedding. I have a few male colleagues that do that and they give all sorts of excuses why they have to remove their rings. All my female colleagues that are maaried have their rings on their fingers. This is not an exaggeration, I mean it. And in my office, there are well over 40 married women. The reasons why most women remove their rings are: 1. When they have added so much weight and it becomes uncomfortable, especially during pregnancy and they out it back on as soon as they get back into shape. 2. if the ring is not gold or diamond. This is because with time (say just a few months), the ring fades and doesnt look good anylonger. 3. Some women get angry when their husbands stop to wear their ring and remove theirs too, just to spite him. I am married and love to wear my ring sooooooo very much. I dont even remove it at all. I do everything (washing, bbathing, cooking, i go to bed with it,, name it) with mine and so does my husband. We love love our rings and flaunt them wherever we go.Well, its not about love for the ring, its about us wanting everyone we come across to know that we are married. |
@vesta, you dont seem real.there is sthg u are not telling us. in you b1st post, you said you both agreed not to get married but were in a serious relationship.what does "serious" here mean? in one of your other posts, you said she kind of forced you to sleep with her against your will. What exactly were you in this "serious" relationship for? |
where is this vesta of a guy now? abi he has done the wedding? i thot he said he will come back and give us details. this is already 2009 oh and we saw your post last in 2007. nawa oh. i dont know whether to believe u or not. |
Congrats georgee! am very happy for you. You see now that all hope is never lost. Am really happy for you. so which state were you posted to? and which unit are you in? |
I have spoken with many ladies and most prefer to keep their wedding dresses away from the groom until the wedding day. What do you think are the reasons for this? Some people say its meant to be a surprise to him and some say they will have bad luck in their marriage if the groom sees the dress before that day House, let me know which is the reason or which is your reason if you have any. |
yes oh, i dont mind twins as first cildren. A boy and a girl and say bye to child birth. |
thank you all for your advice. i appreciate u all. more advice is however welcome. |
I am getting married soon and would not want to get pregnant until at least 6 months into the marriage. What would you advice that i use to prevent me from being getting pregnant during that period.i would want a method that wouldnt make it difficult for me to get pregant when i finally decide to start having babies. can i have your suggestions, please? |
hi shapey, am glad you have not left us. good to know that you are getting stronger. have a great day. |
thanks Amsky, so sad to hear that shapey has lost interest in this forum. well who would blame her? Have a great too day amsky. |
@shapey, how are you and your husband doing? guess your are healing fast. dont let this doubters scare you off from this very wonderful site oh. your story is really inpiring and has thoght me soo many lessons. please, dont leave just yet. |
so, its high time you guys on nairaland believed these stories cos they are true life stories and the are happening everyday. dont act like you are not aware of these things. dont be so ignorant my dear people. Have a great day. Amsky and Shapey dont feel bad. they are just doubting thomases who would not belive until they see. the other day, posted something in reply to a question that was thrown by one of the nairalanders and someone replied saying i was only lying. why would i say something that isnt true about myself just to deceive people or to make people think highly of me. afterall, no one on nairaland land knows me and my lies would not make any different since they do not even know who mightlove is. you guys should not mind them, they are just a bunch of doubters. you still run to nairaland whenever you have issues and i believe you will always get help, that is not to say that you will not see some stupid posts that make no sense. |
Hi@amsky and @shapey. i am glad things have cooled down. i actually stupled across this post on friday night when i was about cloosing from work. could finish going thru it over the weeked as i had soo many things doing.just concluded 2day and read the later posts which shows that some people are doubting the poster and her story. I just wonder why some people find it difficult to believe others.they feel everyone just come up with fairy tales and false stories. is it that the story sound or looks too good to be true? what part of it is too good to be true. is it the part that explains the husband's overraction or the part that that explained the things that went on in nigeria or the part that says the couple is back together? the truth is that whether or not this is a fairy tale (which is most likely not a fairy tale) cannot rule out the fact that these things aand even worse thing have happened in marriages but the couple somehow work things out. my elder sister is married to such a wonderful man. infact i had looked up to the them as as role models cos they were just the perfect couple. my parents also loved their union so much cos there was so much love lust between them. however, the husband misunderstood something she did and that brought a serious problem to their marriage at that time. infact i personally thot the marriage was headed for the rocks, cos it was really bad, it even involved physical abuse (you may not really understand this, since you are not in the shoes of those that knew my sister, her husband and their relationship).it was so bad cos the husband after doing all he did was still not sober for sometime. it was really traumatic for me. it almost affected me, cos i was preparing for an exam then. my parents threatened fire and brimestone. his head still came down and of course he knew the way he handled the situation was veery wrong. he apologized sincerely and kept apologising for a veeeeeery long time as my sister lost all trust and confidence in him and told him so. it wasnt easy on any one of us at all, but tthey sorted out things at last and they are happily living together in love, the love they had always shared is back, though it took sometime and sacrifice. |
cecegorz please, can you give us the manual? i am waiting eagerly for it oh. |
thank you sooooooooo much amsky for your reply and the advice. i will keep to your advice and i am looking forward to a very blissful marriage with my man. though, like you said, issues are bound to arise in any relationship but i will handle them the right way and when i need to discuss with someone, i will not hesitate to come nairaland cos there seems to be a lot of right/straight thinking individuals here. thank you so much, once again and keep being the rare gem that you have been to your dear hubby and kids. |
Hi amsky, am really happy for you. From all that i have read, you have been a very wonderful wife to your husband. I am actually a virgin and will get married very soon to a guy am very much in love with. When i get married, i would want to have super sex with my husband. And I would want to be a very good wife to him in every aspect. I would want to do those acrobatics so he will enjoy having sex with me. I want to get some tips from you. From all that you have said, you know how to take care of your man in all aspects. you said something about acrobatics in bed. Please, can you explain to me and tell me how a woman does acrobatics with her husband in bed? I would also appreciate it if you would give me list of books that would be helpful to me. please, does anyone in the house have any contributions? Thank you all. long live nairaland! Seun, this is a very great job you are doing here. |
