Life no balance, one person no see water drink, another washes his hands with wine. Good luck Davido. |
Seven out of twenty from Africa. Good mark. Africa no dey come first for good thing ni?! |
Weldone brother. It is not good to be eating Reverend Father's left overs. The Reverend Father should take a bold step to marry her nah. Is he called to reverentially destroy lives? |
I still believe in tithing. I teach it, encourage it . I have not really seen any convincing arguments against it. |
Hmmmm. I reserve my comment till the day of judgement. |
Politiartists The stage don set. Not enough original content condition met |
Fake Samuel or fake Obi or fake News or all Which? |
Are you telling us another version of the parable of the sower? |
Dogalmighty17:He get head, abeg. Make another billionaire build refinery and the competition will be internal. Imagine taking oil from Nigeria, transport to America at a cost, refined at a cost, imported to Nigeria at a cost, sold to consumers with profit. Government to pay subsidy on stupidity. Haba! That is why I don't blame Tinubu. All our engineering graduates cannot think outside notebooks. Let the suffering continue. Ebi má kọ wère lógbón. |
True talk nah. The young man in Burkina Faso would that. Ghandi did that, he became a local fabric producer himself, demonstrating his belief. Home grown economy is better. I still don't understand why we import knives, cutlasses, torches, even generators?! Should we even bring Ibrahim Traore on loan this loan window to come and help Nigeria? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Insecurity in the north would not end until the sponsors were identified and dealt with. Moreso, the NGOs feeding fat on the insecurity monies should be faced out. Kinetics alone cannot do it. |
Àgbà Baller from Àgbà àwon black race. It's in their gene. Àgbà l' ẹtù......... |
Gerrard59:My tribe doesn't matter in this issue Sir. I have watched the igbos behavioral pattern from different geopolitical zones due to the nature of my job that is taking me around. I love living in Igbo houses because they build the standard of house I like no matter how remotely the community. I even have my three children given Igbo names by three landlords. Yoruba is even fairer compared to the north. Politically, I think the igbos are still not getting things right. The population of igbos can be a bargain in getting presidency of this country. In the days of Jonathan, the fellow I lived in his house would be bragging about money and business and that political power did not matter. I could not stop wondering about his stupidity. We all saw how MKO business was destroyed by Abacha. Igbo presidency is very possible if given all it takes. They cry about marginalization. Baba! With almost the same population as Yorubas, Yoruba are not intimidated by Hausa - Fúlàní political gimmicks. I think Igbos should look inwards and restragetize. What the lagosians are doing today is anti - Yoruba. Honestly, I have not heard of it elsewhere. All I know in Yoruba land is that if you contribute to the development of your host communities you will be rewarded with chieftancy titles, street named after you and the rest of it. Besides, you can grow your business without any fear. This case of Lagos is worrisome. |
Our president winning on all fronts. Winning over the burden of debts and repositioning Nigeria for greatness. |
Charlie boy does not understand that his sin is tribal not personal. When Lagos State of Assembly decided to be speaking Yoruba, dressing in Yoruba attire, they are simply telling you that Lagos is not a ' No Man's Land. Lagos wants to uproot your history, remembrance and legacies such that in few decades to come, no Igbo man will have any identification than signpost of his business. You guys are bringing this upon yourselves. This is the sophistication we are talking about - fighting without noise. You cannot challenge the move in court. Even the courts are filled with yorubas everywhere. When will igbos be wise? In the same vein, Igbo presidency would be very difficult in Nigeria. Keep up making money and be developing your Lagos as the extension of your Igbo states. |
Gabrielshow24:He has not been responding to my posts recently. I have worn him out. Janosky also has retired to his cocoon. Maybe maximumSide has gone on Sabbatical. I wish him happy holiday. |
paxonel:I agree with you. |
paxonel:Abel Damina may not know that Jehovah's witnesses have rejected Charles Taze Russell as their leader. They have switched their allegiance to Rutherford, the Discreet Slave. They accused Russell of being influenced by church doctrines. The organization was renamed by the second founder to what they bear now. |
Chilipepper:No time: your wife and your children will outgrow this stage. That shouting is her joy for having those children and her pride for having them for you. You will be surprised that she does it more whenever you are around if you are the traveling type. |
1.For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Acts.17.23 Paul was not presenting another God! This topic might surprise you, that is my candid opinion about God anyway.. The word God itself comes from a language other than the languages of the none Abrahamic religions. The concept of God itself was known to every one people before His presentation by missionaries. I want to say here that God I am discussing here is the Christian God. The idea of the Christian God is for all the world to recognize Him as The One they have been wrongly worshipping. He did this by firstly establishing a relationship, then sending out missionaries to all peoples. The first God to do that. 2. All People Knew God. The Bible tells us clearly that God, after ousting Adam and Eve out of Eden, showed Himself all evidences to look after Him. People ignored Him and sought other things. Rom.1.21 - Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. The question here is, did Adam and Eve know God? Definitely. By what name? None. What about Enoch? Noah? None! What names did these people refer to or reverence God. The ones they gave Him, like Chukwuokike, Ọlọrun, Ubangiji, Dieu, Gusti etc. This was according to the perception of each people all over the world. 3. God's Appearance to Abraham. When God appeared to Abraham, He simply told him that He is the Almighty God. Abraham related with God with no other name other than Almighty God. Isaac and Jacob did not know God with other names either. 4. Rediscovering God Gen.48.3 - And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me, After a spell of four hundred and thirty years, God appeared to Moses. The encounter forced Moses to ask for God's name. Two things, either Moses knew a name he wanted to confirm or there was none at all, or the name of God had been lost in antiquity. God told Moses, I am God of Abraham, God Isaac, and God of Jacob. If we look at this carefully, to Isaac, He would be referred to as God of Abraham, for Jacob, ad God of Abraham and Isaac. The to Moses, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Each generation knew Him as His dispensation to their forebears. Then God brought up a new name,: I AM. He did not however discard the former one, the Almighty God Exod.3.15 - And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. Exod.6.3 - And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. (Note: by the name not by my name) The name Jehovah is an interpretation of a four letter word יהוה that is supposed to mean or convey the meaning I AM. In some other renderings, it could be called YAHWEH. They still connote the same thing. The correct rendering is still debated among scholars. God's other names. Although, all these names were given by God Himself, he is being called other names in the scriptures by Israelites, the first recipients of God oracle. Some of these are: Jah, Jealous, Elohim, Eloa, and sometimes with a combination of names , like Jehovah -, Nissi, Jehovah - Rapha, and so on. Exod.34.14 - For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: 5. In the New Testament, names have been established for God among Israelites only as revealed name, I AM, which is interpreted to mean I Am who I Am, or I would be Who I will be. That alone is still a descriptive than a name. The only difference is that it came with Hebrew or Aramaic letters. Who now says God was never what He wanted to be to other peoples in other places and dispensations? Throughout the New Testament, God's name was not an issue except that Jesus last meeting, He said, that, He had shown His disciples The Father's name. The question now is, which name? John.17.26 - And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. In conclusion, God does not seem to have a particular name to carry or explain His essence. Before the adventure of missionaries, people knew God by any names they gave Him. I didn't really think He is dissatisfied with any. If Moses had not asked for a name, it is not clear, a name would have been given. |
Food don done. Abel Damian is giving all of them wotowoto. This thread will be interesting. I am laughing in JWs' paradise's language. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Ken4Christ:Do you mean they have their brains washed with the wrong detergent or completely replaced? |
I am glad that falsehood is denied not standard. Sanity is needed in the places of learning to groom are cultural heritage. |
There is nothing to fear, continue to shaping the heart after birth before the the skull is strong. All is well. |
Karleb:Church is a public place you enter without examination and rules.university community is different from that. Your dude would no not enter Deeper Life, Mountain of Fire, Apostolic Faith like that and be comfortable. He would not try it in any mosque. See, university is not a place for fashion exhibition, it is a place for learning. When you want to do fashion parade or a model, there is another place for that. In a fashion school, laboratories are not needed. In university, you are awarded certificates for learning, not for how beautiful, or muscular, crazier you are. University is a place for learning not fashion parade. |
Simply because you are an original graduate |
Karleb:Your dude was a performing artist not a student in a responsible community. In performing arts, anything goes. Every community has its core values and ethics. In the military, you can't wear dreadlocks, anywhere in the world. So, as a performing artist, anything goes. Education itself is an organized body of standardized knowledge: where real knowing is sifted from myths and fables. It is the factory where knowledge is birthed, investigated, sifted, standardized, passed on to benefit the society; and where it is fedback for further investigations. So Sir, any students or parents who feel universities cannot do beyond the curricula for learning should stay away from tertiary institutions. Education is a choice. Anyway, in today's Nigeria, education is a scam. |
I no dey price my head, anywhere I get to barb my hair I do it. If my money no reach, I walk away. |
This is a serious case. Apostle must hear this. We cannot prevent you from fever nor ask pharmacies not to sell. Eh?!
