Politics › Re: Alaafin vs Ooni: The Crownbreaker: Awolowo & The Betrayal Of The Yoruba Throne by MightySparrow: 6:10pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
This write - up lacks historical and scholarly essence it aims at presenting.
Oyo never colonized or enslaved it's brothers from other dialects. Ife on the other hand, existed and enjoyed long centuries of existence and glory meandering through various curves of civilization before Oyo which came about a millennium years ago.
The recent twist in civilization and political climate cannot erase our history, values, norms and knowing.
Awolowo did not stop the glory of Oyo empire. Britain did.
However, the fact remains that not other parts of places Oduduwa sons and daughters founded ever accepted the leadership of Oyo. |

PastorKosi: There's a satanic advice from some ladies flying around the internet where they advise single ladies to become pregnant and have a child outside wedlock if husband is not forth coming. That is satanic and from the pit of hell. Please don't get that desperate. Trust God and also Trust His timing. You will get Married and carry your baby legitimately. Have you been to hell before? Today, men are afraid of marriage; women are becoming uncontrollable. Men prefer intimacy gadgets, Elon Musk is preparing to a robot that can carry pregnancy. Women that cherish children and cannot be married should get a child, not necessarily by being impregnated but by a sperm donor. The child doesn't need to have a known father. We are still looking forward to Elon Musk to make bot babies for women that are out of societal order. |

Mohammed and his followers understood this and their actions thereafter in betraying their host communities are evident today all over the Islamic world. The problem of Muslims is their ignorance of their history and the deception of the alfas and sheiks. Today, Internet has proven Islam deception right. So many books of Islam are online. People are now questioning the divine origin of Mohammed's proohethood. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Traditional Rulers Singing At RCCG 73rd Annual Convention by MightySparrow: 8:10am On Aug 11, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: Direct the highlighted question to Jesus!
A traditional ruler wanted to enter God's Kingdom so he came kneeling before Jesus saying:
“Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?” Luke 18:18
Jesus responded:
“Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and your mother.’” Luke 18:19-20
The traditional ruler said:
“All of these I have kept from youth on.” Luke 18:21
Jesus responded:
“There is still one thing lacking about you: Sell all the things you have and distribute the proceeds to the poor, and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come be my follower.” Luke 18:22
The traditional ruler left Jesus right there and walked away with grief!
Finally Jesus said to his disciples:
“How difficult it will be for those having money to make their way into the Kingdom of God! It is easier, in fact, for a camel to get through the eye of a sewing needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” Luke 18:24-25
So lesson learned:
Whoever can't humble himself to put all worldly riches and prestige behind him to accept the work of disciple making with Jesus' followers as in going to visit people in their homes surely is proving to big for Jesus so such a person cannot enter God's Kingdom! Is that the reason your organization dissuades your people against university education? No rich people will enter into Jehovah's Witnesses Paradise. Shey? Psalms 62:9 [9]Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. Men of BSc, BA, are vanity, MA, MSc, PhD, are a lie. Rich people are doomed, Kings are hopeless. Poor, lowly, ignorant people accepted. Paul was wrong to have preached to Agrippa, and Felix, Luke to Theophilus. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Traditional Rulers Singing At RCCG 73rd Annual Convention by MightySparrow: 8:20pm On Aug 10, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: You need to read the instructions from Jesus again:
"When you enter the house, greet the household. If the house is deserving, let the peace you wish it come upon it; but if it is not deserving, let the peace from you return upon you. Wherever anyone does not receive you or listen to your words, on going out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet. Truly I say to you, it will be more endurable for the land of Sodʹom and Go·morʹrah on Judgment Day than for that city." Matthew 10:12-15
Jesus is the judge he never taught us to treat anyone special so whoever doesn't open his house to welcome us when we enter their streets Jesus has told us what to do! The question is direct: how many palaces have you visited, or your paradise is not meant for kings? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Traditional Rulers Singing At RCCG 73rd Annual Convention by MightySparrow: 8:08pm On Aug 10, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: Why do you like deceiving yourself?
Jesus commanded his disciples to go and visit people in their homes {Matthew 10:11-13} if Jesus the highest ranking son of God could come down to the earth preaching and teaching from house to house and humbly knocking on people's doors just to reach both the rich and the poor with the Good News who are you to dictate how you will do the work of the Lord? So, how many palaces doors were you able to knock at? Is your organization not sent to kings? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Traditional Rulers Singing At RCCG 73rd Annual Convention by MightySparrow: 7:54pm On Aug 10, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: NO! We are all humble preachers and teachers of the Good News of God's Kingdom, we must go about knocking on people's doors no matter our financial status that's what no traditional ruler can do! Luke 18:18-23 So, kings cannot preach to another king? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Traditional Rulers Singing At RCCG 73rd Annual Convention by MightySparrow: 1:12pm On Aug 10, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: Is the so called traditional king and his cohorts preaching and teaching to make disciples just as Jesus commanded? Matthew 10:11-13, 28:19-20 Ask them na! No kings in your organization? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Traditional Rulers Singing At RCCG 73rd Annual Convention by MightySparrow: 11:36am On Aug 10, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: You're all welcome to the world that is filled with deceit.
Traditional rulers that we know very well in Yorùbá land as traditionalists who don't have anything to do with faith in Christ Jesus singing what they called praises in a religious gathering of worshipers claiming disciples of Christ.
È ṣíò!
Well let everyone who has ears listen:
These people are practicers of idolatry who worship different deities in various shrines, that is what they must do and continue doing before they can be given traditional titles the occult world must initiate them before they are crowned if anyone wants to confirm let him go and watch how Elizabeth (Queen) became the ruler of England and how she was laid to rest, carefully consider all the rituals performed during her burial.
That's what the people whom you think brought this religion to you are doing not in secret but in the open showing that they used the churches as cover-up they don't believe in Jesus rather they are using the church to gather support. You are not absolutely correct. I remember a king in Ekiti. He is a Christian. The traditionalists asked him to do particular sacrifice for rain to fall that year. He confidently told them that he had prayed and that God had assured him of rain falling that day. It happened, that day and the in end some of his chiefs believe in Jesus. Things are happening Sir. There are genuine believers among traditional rulers. Their own form of PIMOs of Jehovah's Witnesses. |
