So I woke up spotting and I freaked out, because I never experienced any such thing in my previous pregnancies or since this pregnancy, and the spotting persisted, we decided to go get checked out at the hospital. When we got there, we waited to be called in, then this other preggo lady walked in and sat beside me with her toddler, I noticed she was spitting in a small bottle, she dropped the bottle and was making a call, next thing I see is her kid with her bottle gulping down her full bottle of spittle, i was like noo dont do that, alerting the mom, and all she could do was laugh and say "dont mind her, she does that all the time" and continued her call, was so puke inducing, I cldnt help it, I just ran to the rest room and puked, replaying it now is making me want to puke again, yikes.

They had three sets of twins; not sure of their positions though. more so, you can't compare those years; whoever deliberately bears such number of kids these days should be checked&it's not about finance now, it's just not classy!

They helped me...she spent 3days with me...she was even the one that went to the market to shop for foodstuffs,cooked and recharge our subscription.she was called that her child was seriously sick and she left to tend to her child.I yaff bee bathing my babies myself and doyin my omugwo alone.

God bless her&hope her child is nw stable. just take it easy on urself&be sensitive enough to know when ur body says stop.

Back to your question...ayam doyin my omugwo mysef...i don't have strength for my mothers drama.i can barely walk,as I also have one lil2 hyper active madam of 23months to care for as well.my husband that has BN helping me has travelled outside asaba for work. as ayam still fragile.so lemmi try the home remedy first.like I said...i just noticed it jaundice this evening.

not eyes but mouth. about 20mins two/three times daily bt u may adjust to avoid direct exposure to sunlight (depending on the rays). u may av to stay indoors by d window side&unclothe him to a reasonable level. also breastfeed him as much as possible so he can excrete it all. tis well wif u &baby

well, I know of early morning sun& diced unripe pawpaw soaked in clean drinkable water. drink as much as u can&a few drops to baby too.
hope it helps but be at alert as to when it's necessary to head for d hospital.

yours may be the absorbable sutures that are meant to be broken down by the body over time and eventually dissolve completely bt u may return to d hospital if u're so worried abt it

good evening mamas. I was just reading through and I saw some advices on using warm or hot compress for breast engorgement. Well I like to say that that the warm/hot compress might help milk flow but will not help to ease the pain and inflammation associated with the engorgement, as warm compress will increase pain and inflammation.

So I'l like to advice mamas to use more of cold compress with just few minutes warm/hot compress. Lets say have a warm bath, drink warm fluids, brief warm massage before breastfeeding and then 10minutes of cold massage after breastfeeding

try massaging with hot (a temperature u can cope with o) water. it shd soften d engorgement.

exactly sis. wash like u would normally and then after rinsing out d soap, add to the last rinse before drying out.

it is most likely you need rest. as for d dizziness, u may need to check ur PCV to be sure u're nt short of blood. sorry sis, try as much as possible to rest. leave whatever u think u av to do &rest while baby is asleep or calm

cologne/fragrances for babies are actually available by different known brands bt it doesn't seem necessary, like mama liftedhands pointed out since babies av their natural beautiful scent.moreover, one can't tell if there are downsides to using such seemingly unnatural products on babies. I also think dt d smell of deodorant will too harsh on a baby's lungs&d substance on their skin; it is used to control sweat or d smell of it which babies don't av.

We were discharged from the hospital...or rather we discharged ourselves from the hospital.no single improvement.zino eats like glutton,but never add weight.i usually deworm her every 3 months.i felt relaxed since she inherited the slimness/tallness from her father's side of the family.but with her recent bouts',the iya agbo I took her to told me about the Ama ish's.although I have abandoned the English drugs for now.i cudnt stand lil Madame abdomen been sliced,cus I have seen several kids suffering from it.but after sometime bounces back looking Chubby and healthier.

i quite understand ow u feel as no caring mother wld like to see her child looking skinny despite all her sacrifices to av a family to be envied bt u may not bother much abt her esp if she is healthy &feeds well.
i was like dt!mama was ever worried&kept trying out all sorts despite d quarterly dewormimg. her worries were heightened due to to d fact dt of us all, only me will not poo worms after giving us combantrin (with bananas; u remember dt time we used to poo worms in whole). she wouldn't stop asking experienced mothers for a way out &u can trust African mothers to come up with all sorts - raw egg+hot milk; ugwu juice+milk, multivitamins, blood builders/cleansers, etc. as u can guess, none of those things did anything as I remained like dt till my junior sec sch days.
fast forward to SS2, come&see d change. I am nw so chubby dt ppl like to pull my cheeks.
dt is d end of my story.

The TT vaccine is nt just for when u're pregnant alone. It just happens dt most women only get to know about it during their ante-natal care while others don't attach much importance to it.
Just like one mama said, d 1st&2nd shots are 4wks apart while d 3rd is 6months after d 2nd; then d 4th after one year& same with d 5th.
When u take up to d 3rd, u'll b covered for 5yrs; if u manage to d 4th, 10 years while u'll b covered for life if u complete ur dosage. I think d unborn child is also covered until a certain age in life, nt sure.
This is d reason why many women keep taking d shots in every of their pregnancies cos they didn't/don't complete it.

what is your experience and how did u scale tru?

am a bit worried after my doc said i may be considered for CS due to previous history of giving birth tru cesarean. he explained vividly the reasons why and medically its to prevent unlikely complications like uterine rupture or foetal distress.

don't worry urself too much sis esp if u're convinced by his explanations. you may seek a second opinion though to corroborate him or rule out any underlying condition dt cld necessitate a repeat CS; in all, one can't teach them their job&d good ending of bringing forth another life safely is d goal.
