OK then. I used garri cutter.
On simple way of making afang soup,
Wash and slice the water leaves into tiny pieces. Grind or pound the sliced Okazi leaves (the sellers of these sliced Okazi leaves have a machine for grinding it but I prefer using the blender with a little water)
Boil the beef and Kanda with diced onions and knor or maggi cubes in a very small quantity of water and keep separately when done. Boil the stock fish till done. Add everything together with dry fish and cook for about 5 more minutes.
Now add palm oil(generous amount) , crayfish and pepper. Once it starts boiling, add the periwinkle and cover to boil for about 2 mins. Add the sliced water leaves, stir it and then add the grinded afang (okazi) leaves. Stir very well and if the soup is too thick, you add a little water. Add salt to taste and leave to simmer for 3-5 minutes. and the Afang soup is ready!
This is my simple way of making it though. Others may have their own recipe.

Same here, hubby doesn't like it but I love it. So once in a while, I cook it for me and the kids then prepare something else for hubby.
Lol @ garri looking like meat pie. You can be funny eeh. Nothing much, just allow water to boil, make the garri as normal, cover it up for a while (say 5 mins) before turning and it will come out fine.
