Thank you so much Mama , my test results will be out this morning. Amen. I will do as adviced . Now on bed rest at the hospital. I will also increase my fluid intake more. Appreciate your feedback. God bless you. Olorilolo: Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear this, I can imagine the great amount of stress you must be in right now. I would like you to know that it's not a hopeless situation, if they conducted a test for infection for you, they can check if an infection caused the PROM and treat adequately. To the best of my knowledge, I would say you should aim for total bed rest and adequate fluid intake(up to 3 litres) to regenerate the amniotic fluid and probably plan to bring them out in three to six weeks.
I really pray for a good outcome for you Ma'am. May God almighty favour you. |

Good day Mamas, apologies l haven't registered my presence for awhile. It has been a rough ride in and out of the hospital since week 7.
I am currently 25weeks but Team July (22nd Elective CS due past medical history) Twin IVF conception conceived.
I started having watery discharge on Friday and l came to the hospital yesterday (I use Gotv hospital) for check up, l was diagnosed with leaking amniotic fluid and was immediately placed on admission and on bed with monitoring.
I have read and read about this PROM diagnosis on Google , l am really scared but trusting God to show mercy.
Please who has treated this either medically or herbally to kindly share her experience and what she did to successfully scale through.
The Doctors said the small open around the membrane where the fluids is leaking from can heal up as we have 50/50 chances.
There shall not be loss in our midst in the name of God. Amen
Thank you all. |

I have been calling the Doctor since yesterday but he isn't picking up do you know how l can get across to him for consultation? Thanks. Mommajojem: Mama why don't you try paramount in Ondo, they are very good. I know 3 people that did ivf with them and was successful, one even had quadruplets. Ayomide don chop belleful, I did 2 iui cycles that failed and they don't show any empathy, all they care about is money. |

Thanks Mama for the feedback. Uririandme: Both hospitals have good success rates based on reviews of people who have used them here. But if finance is a factor in your decision, prime care is much cheaper than fertilaid. All the best dear. |

Hi Mamas,
I am in between picking an hospital for my ivf ' Prime care and Fertilaid . Have spoken to both of them and seems they know their onions.
But your recommendations and proms can also help me with the final selection.
Travelling down from the southwest Oyo state.
This is the second IVF journey after failed iui and ivf from Ayomide Osogbo without a cogent reason for failure.
Thank you mamas. |

MikeMichel: Good morning Mamas in the house, I would like to make enquiries about considering treating infertility outside the country. I have endometriosis and my husband has issues with sperm count and motility. We have had failed iui and Ivf, we are thinking of relocating to canada but l am abit scared of many uncertainties. So many questions yet no answers. We all know how this journey can only be understood by those who wear the same shoes . People who don't have an idea can be insensitive, yes there are priorities but do we then make our life stagnant and not move on with other life goals, my parents are not helping matters at all, no matter what l achieve they still find a way of telling me my struggles about child bearing . Please who has taken this step before and how did you pull through to have a successful pregnancy outside the country. M.37 F.31
Thank you all. It's really hard finding balance. Depression is almost setting in and l get scared all the time what if ... |

3days ago l tested negative after a failed ivf cycle and just summoned the courage to speak out about it. It's not easy, l don't break down with life issues but this broke me into pieces l cant lie. This journey hmmmmm still the hardest thing l never wished for an enemy. For now l will just try as much as possible to take my mind off anything around getting pregnant and focus on another thing entirely around self growth. It is well. God will surely answer to our plea one day. Stay safe all. |

Sorry about this. My experience with others we cycled together. I had only 7follicles, 2empty, 3 not matured and only 2 fertilised. I didn't take any supplements because of history with complex ovarian cyst and fibroids as l heard it make them grow. What have learnt from other people we cycled together that got matured eggs and many follicles was that they were on supplements for 3months before embarking on the journey. Both husband and wife were taking COQ-10, Dhea,Vit A, Vit E, Zinc and Vit C. Maybe you can use these supplements and try naturally inbetween. God will surely answer our prayers and come through for all of us. Baby dust. Quote author=sugarsugarify post=101488147]5 follicle extracted, 1 empty ,2 not matured ,2 pre mature....1 out of the not matured, matured...sperm injected...fertilization didnt occur...Day 5 and no changes in all the egg...what went wrong?Any idea of what I can do to conceive naturally....there isnt any fund to do a repeat .....my treatment was undergone at olive branch hospital....plus AMH 0.96 and 32years
Good morning mummy's...we ain't giving up...God would surely come through[/quote] |

Good evening mamas Quite a roller coaster journey....... 7 eggs retrieved Only 2 fertilised Was called upon to discuss day 3 transfer as we only have 2 embryos left and it's better to transfer than wait till day 5. Grade A 8 cell embryo was transferred finally. Still on progesterone support alongside folic acid. Do we have someone that did a successful day 3 transfer?
Started taking pineapple core today and daily avocado#banana smoothies. Any support ideas during this 2weeks wait?
Trusting God for his miracles over this cycle. Amen

Good evening Mamas, I did my day 6 scan 2 today, left ovary with 8 follicles but the right with none. The doctor said my right ovary which l did the cyst aspiration before starting my injections didn't respond hence the no follicles that occurred. Scan 3 is on Wednesday, is it possible for the right.ovary to have responded then or it won't respond at all Has someone has the same experience similar to mine? Egg retrieval is on Saturday, trusting God for a successful cycle. Baby dust . |
