Guys, Let me make a feeble defence of Sia-one, I heard wwhen He took over the job, He did complain that it was a bit late, then later on, some of his best players lost out either through indicipline by not reporting early to camp etc. This was followed by a glaring realisation that the team didn't have a compact defence and ofcourse He left late for camping in spain.Looking at the way the boys play, you will realise that this particular boys were definitely NOT his best selection. |
@unite4real, Na so so permutation because e don tey wey 9ja dey play pool and dey perm or crunch numbers, ![]() |
wha did i say about lawal again anyway, thank God for Adejo |
osanga needs to play more with brains than his legs, i;m sorry i ;m forced to say that |
lawal hit the ball straight at the keeper , and made it look like a good shot by doing the cricifix sign, hard truth guys but we are NOT qualifying anymore. it's time to come back home to the drawing board. the goal keeper is just picking up balls now, no real threats. |
this is really funny, is it the syndrome of not being able to manage success or what? these tahitians can be beaten by more than 4 goals!! |
Errrrmmmmm, looks like we need 4 more goals to qualify. This Osanga is a sorry fellow. He needs some exposure really. two tahitian brothers have been sent out of this match. |
did anybody see that aimless whack by aluko. I wonder what else siasia can do to get another 4 goals. this boys are playing against 10 men and can't get the goals in same old story, i have grave doubt at this stage except we get at least two more goals in the next 10 minutes. |
uchechi , uchechi, uchechi, please put the goals away, haba! |
uchechi misses another opportunity to score. then osangaaaaa!!!! them don start again oo!!! |
hi folks, Plsc who knows what's happening in the other matches?? |
I hope govt officials won't show-up in thousands now and start celebrating this one till it's done ![]() |
Goooooalllllll it;s 4-0 at half time. this is the funniest goal in this competition. it made a hole in the net!! like tunder balogun's, ![]() |
Tahitian no 20 gets redddddd!!! can we take advantage, aluko is off-target again. |
@Te@meDO, SHOULD HAVE BEEN 7-UP ACTUALLY |
Rabiu is too skillful in that midfield . ohhhhh!!!! uchechi fails to make it 4. something tells me tahiti will get a goal in this tourney, through us. |
if we do qualify, and i know we can, then we need to re-organise our defence. oh,,,its 3-0 now. great goal that one. |
@bandeley, I am actually wishinig tahiti does a back flip for us anytime we have the ball, that's what my takiti is all about, ![]() by the way, up blues!!! |
i spoke too soon its nig 2-tahiti 0. let's go flying now |
there are at least 9 men behind the ball at the tahitian goal area now, this is not looking like a team willing to roll over |

ball in vital area for free kick to flying boys |
our defence wobbles again for the umpteenth time and Okafor races to save us another embarrassment from takiti |
the tahitian coach, just blew hard on his jaws, good goal frm nwankwo that one |
we are one up, good start |
Takiti defending so well, flying boys still rushing in blindly, ![]() |
I think what they are trying to do is see if they can get an opener and a couple before the break but their approach is too gra-gra. |
@zenus, I don't think they are slow, they are just too anxious in front of goal. so far they've taken the game to Tahiti, but ![]() |
guys, match is 5min underway, with us wasting chances already |
Mezico? Where naija no go go! But its all good, id prefer to stand out in Mezico than to be just another stat in an Ivy league.
@Gamine, My sister , now you're going to be inviting alot of special guest with these comments ![]() Let's see though, hope they don't claw at your back. I see a lot of personality clashes on this forum even when we should be complementing each other. Two things actually, tribal consciousness and the one mentioned earlier. |

@mikeoscar I love it when people quote the Bible fairly. So u have not seen or heard of instances when GOD punished a whole community, Family or a Nation just cos of the SIN(s) of 1 Person. If OBJ and family keep geting what they denied some many PEOPLE then God may have to make some explanation to some of us. Infact the family of ABACHA/ATIKU/RIBADU ETC will definetely demand an apology from HIM.

@Chosen04, I appreciate and respect your Biblical perspective on inclusive judgement, but my point is, it is the perogative of God if He choses to punish a whole generation for an accursed thing or if He decides to punish an individual for what He or she has done wrong. To wish another mortal death, misfortune or gloat over her demise when we should be consoling her family, wishing they get over their loss or praying for those who despitefully used or abuse us is what I am saying. Let God be the judge (and He is the ultimate judge) but we can attract more favor and mercy from God if we do not take a vengeful and judgemental position on our percieved enemies each time they wrong us. I know it's not easy but at least we can try! It's a principle that always heals. It also helps us to reflect on how often we have erred or offended people and we didn't get hammered by God or nothing un-toward happened to us because of something silly a family member did. |
@back2back andChosen04, My sisters, Please let's not wish this sort of thing even at our enemies. This Woman died! Yes, you heard me, She died. She was not a government official, did not hold any political appointment or office draw the kind of hate. Truth is it could have been any of us. Think about the things you did in your lives that you deserved to die for, but God in His infinite mercies kept you alive. Not because you were so righteous, not because you were so smart, not because you were that great, but God looked beyond your faults and saw all your needs. So you 're only alive today because He kept you and you because of His grace. The Psalmist David recognised this in the Bible when He said "It is by His mercies that we are not consumed. " Even if Obasanjo attacked Odi for His own benefit while in Government, How is that Stella's Problem, it's like saying because you're guilty of an offence your whole family or some members of your family should be punished for it. Haba babes! Obasanjo was president. God will judge him according to His responsibilities as much He will judge us according to ours too, but let's be careful not to assume the role of God and start judging or gloating over other persons misfortune. You can imagine Stella's Children reading all these hate comments on NL. I beg my sisters let's learn to forgive and mourn with those that mourn knowing that we shall all give account of every idle word or what we do on the judgement day. God bless you |

anyway, thank God for Adejo
