FoodRe: Bread Dipped In Hot Chocolate? by mikeoscar: 9:49pm On Oct 28, 2009
I have been dipping since I was young. Now, I confess I only dip when my wife and kids aren't watching. My wife especially goes, ewwwwwww and will nearly yank my precious buredi from African shop from my hand. grin grin.

I visited my younger sister in Abuja, we sat at table during breakfast with one of those fresh bread from the stores. We both started tearing and dipping , come and see her kids , looking like "what 're they doin'".

But honestly e dey sweet sha if you don't keep it in the cup for too long. there's a technique with it though wink

Great game. yet still a lot of work to do, in terms of taking our chances and burying most of those chances created today.

if we play this way against Argentina, and shoot wildly like this, well, undecided

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by mikeoscar: 8:21pm On Oct 27, 2009
Good Ajagun calmed down to direct that goal. We need more of that kind of play and at least get another goal to take the fight off Honduras.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by mikeoscar: 7:43pm On Oct 27, 2009

There ain't any of GOD's creature ugly we're just shaped/fashioned differently to fit God's purpose for our lives. If He looked any different from  what the "Potter " designed then that won't be okoro, or what do you think?? wink

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by mikeoscar: 7:27pm On Oct 27, 2009
I still wonder why most footballers don't see their collagues in a better position when they are about to pull the trigger. I guess it takes discipline, skills and team mentality. It happens always in football.

BTW, these boys need to calm down and the goal/s will come.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by mikeoscar: 7:21pm On Oct 27, 2009
We must be watching different matches.
No, it's same, level just changed nowgrin cheesy
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by mikeoscar: 7:17pm On Oct 27, 2009
I'd prefer the boys play short passes than this long diagonal balls. The honduran team is trying to impose themselves if they can get the balls. I tell you , it's only going to get easy if we take our chances.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by mikeoscar: 7:12pm On Oct 27, 2009
Match already started and it's  Honduras has put the ball in Nigeria's goalie's hands 2wice now. cheesy

When wanna be-lawyers interpret judgements, thats the result.

The sentences are however, to run concurrently.
Shouda got at least 40 years and let that one run concurrently grin wink
PoliticsRe: Bode George Is Sentenced To 2 Years! Not Enough! by mikeoscar: 8:04pm On Oct 26, 2009
I said hopefully, he won't APPEAL AWAY.
@Posakosa1
Sad  enough He will APPEAL!

Remember, He belongs to the ruling party. I bet there's serious leg-work going on in Aso Rock right now. They cover their own, and will stop at nothing to ensure He's let-off the hook.

See Ibori nah, see Odili nah, see Sekibo nah, See Omisore nah, see Liyel Omoke from my state nah, etc, etc, "nothing dey happen" ma brother that's their slogan.

I'm sure the judge who passed the sentence is being hounded right now, except Bode Has stepped on too many PDP big toes or He didn't pass the goodies round.
RomanceRe: What Exactly Is A Woman's Worth? by mikeoscar: 2:27pm On Oct 26, 2009
Stupid Topic! Psfff
Everybody knows what a woman is worth. I think the current street retail market rate now is N3,000 per night. Women under 40 are so useless and stupid and extremely valueless except for their cunts which they sell for value. Real Men know their worth is only in the production of children as that is their primary tool on earth and secondly to be in the kitchen. Every other thing is secondary. I dont see a woman under 40 as anything other than a baby factory anything higher than N3,000 in market value for a woman especially on Nairaland under 40 is pushing it to the extreme. Anything lesser than that is a very good bargain.

Useless Cunts
Hey, HEY, HEY,  Kanye, abi wetin you say you be sef, so you have graduated from jumping on stage and snatching Microphone from women to labelling them  eh?

Ngog wins it for liverpool
@jalether
Errmmm, it was actually won already. He only cut off MANU's head  gasping for breath.

@All,
was that foul on van de saar  a red card foul. I thought the goal keeper who left his goal area  should have skipped over the attacker instead of engaging the attacker and tripping over. If i where refree i won't give it grin cheesy

Also it was past five minutes and entering the fergie's time when that second goal was transposed, sir Alex didn't certainly get it right this time around wink.

SportsRe: Fifa U-17 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Germany [3 - 3] 24th Oct by mikeoscar: 9:26pm On Oct 24, 2009
It's all over. Honestly, this guys need to just learn to play as a taem and use their "heads" more upfront in the attack.

Good fight in the 2nd half though.

BTW is the defence  our new area of vulnerability in football as a nation? saw too much of that with FE and ofcourse we see that perenially these days with SE.
SportsRe: Fifa U-17 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Germany [3 - 3] 24th Oct by mikeoscar: 9:21pm On Oct 24, 2009

SportsRe: Fifa U-17 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Germany [3 - 3] 24th Oct by mikeoscar: 9:00pm On Oct 24, 2009
My main problem with this Nigerian team is the lack of connection between the wings and the central attackers. Most of the balls from the wings are either played in without timing any oncoming attacker or just played across the German goal area. The Germanys who are much taller then get to pick up most of the aerial balls in their  own goal area.
