andrewza: The sytem could carry rockets to though. It really not hard and if you look at the broucher for the A109 you see it to can carry wepaons from rockets, autocans to missiels. ATE(now parmount) even makes the weapons. Of course as soon as you put wepaons on a transport ou take away fromit's transport abliety.
Us black hawk with rockets and missiels.
Notice how they don't use these in combat though. Attack choppers are better. Yes,it was a prototype of the Rooivalk. Attack helicopters are always better. |

Patchesagain: Just like we attached rockets to the Oryx Those aren't rockets but Ingwe missile pods. But are now changed the missiles aren't carried in pods no more,as seen in the Iraqi helicopters. Which SA integrated the missiles. |

agaugust: Simple, the order was shifted to Russia.
According to your own respected South African sources, Nigeria is buying 40 Russian Mi-35 Hind and Mi-171s Terminator combat helicopters
. Keep dreaming. You're not buying those since SA will continue seizing your money. GEJ will soon ask for more money. |

Henry120: Na we don't claim.
We wanted to get AH-1w's from israel, the americans blocked it, we instead went for 12 additional up-graded MI-35 helicopters from belarus. No sweat.
And dummy, the CH-46 are for the Navy, not the Airforce.
You should be more concerned about purchasing aviation fuel for your Airforce.
"Weapons acquired during the 1999 arms deal are not being used and are becoming derelict, the Seriti Commission of Inquiry heard on Tuesday [October 7].
[b] “With regards to the 30 Augusta helicopters purchased from Italy, I am informed that many of them are in storage and unused or rotting at Ysterplaat Air Force Base in Cape Town,” You're getting NOTHING!!! Stop dreaming. 1.Again you present a quote from a man, who's credibility is being shredded. 2.Who informed him? Some fairy? A. Air force base Ysterplaat is home to 22 squadron and 35 squadron, only the former operates helicopter. B. Helicopters based there are Denel Oryx and the Super Lynx for maritime duties. NO A109s. 3. 30 helicopters? He doesn't remember the crashed one? 4. He didn't see the A109s at the Air force demonstration in September? Oh he also failed to see them at the AAD14? 5. Well I guess that what happens when you rely on newspapers as your sources. 6. Your knowledge is limited to this articles? What a shame. 7. Mike..ZA will humble YOU!!!!!!! |

AugustineAgain: No need, Nigeria has ALL infantry weapon class that SANDF has, from Rifle to AGL.
Well for us, evry bullet counts, one enemy one bullet, SANDF wastes their own
See how we nailed this Boko driver through his windsheild.....one naija bullet works like 10 saffer bullets . Nigeria has no 1.Anti-material sniper rifles. 2.Rifle grenades. 3.Long range mortars. 4.DM rifles. 5.Anti tank-missiles. 6.Anti-mine/clearing systems. Should I continue? Your soldiers aren't highly trained,so don't present them as being highly skilled marksmen. |

Henry120: Arms for the office of the NSA are not public knowledge. Over 35 helicopters from Russia and Belarus in one fell swoop.
Now, go afford some aviation fuel. Claims again!!!!!! Ohh you're still claiming those? You guys were claiming Chinooks and 40 helicopters LOOOOOOOOOL,we all know what happened next. African armies which get American training are always quick to abuse human rights. This is the case with Nigeria. |

Henry120: You might not care about the report, but the 85% of your black countrymen living in poverty actually do care.
It is them, i'm most concerned about. Less than Nigerians How many Nigerians are internally displaced? Nigerians suffer MORE than Saffers!!!! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by MikeZA: 2:07pm On Oct 11, 2014 |
Henry120: Poverty rate in Nigeria is 33% in Nigeria.
In south-Africa,
85% of blacks live in poverty White households make 10times the amount of black households 7% of the population run 90% of the economy. 7% of the minority white control 100% of the defence industry.
The world's most un-equal country. what's 33% of the Nigerian population? Poor South Africans get government grant, poor Nigerian EAT MONKEYS,DOGS etc!!!!!! |

Henry120: Rueters, the BBC, Aljazeera, TVC, CNN, France24 were all on the ground. However none could corroborate your outlandish story.
Your cowardly troops were swept aside. At which engagement area? How long did it take Seleka to capture Bangui? 1. Fighting started around 4pm-6pm. 2. Seleka overran regional forces within hours. 3. The whole Friday night they couldn't capture Bangui. 4. If they had it easily, why didn't they kill all the "mercinaries Bozize brought from South African". 5. Foreign news houses based their reports from calls interviews with Seleka commanders. What was swept aside was your TROOPS in Gwoza!!!! What was swept aside were those troops running whom ran away from standing their ground and fight BH. Their cowardice was captured on video. What was swept aside was your TROOPS in Bama. What was swept aside was the Nigerian troops pushed INTO Cameroon. |

Henry120: Only 15% black south-africans are in middle class. For a country they make up 90% of the population.
A country where 7% of the minority white population run 85% of the economy and own 80% of the land. Go on deceiving yourself, while your country men claim they aren't welcome in capetown. MORE NIGERIANS ARE POOR THAN SAFFERS!!! No one gives a rat's arse about your wrong statistics, obtained from newspapers. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by MikeZA: 1:50pm On Oct 11, 2014 |
Henry120: Yes, proven by your own defence minister. You lack aviation fuel.
That's the only thing you're good at, building MRAPs. The C-130 flew to Lagos with water? You're good at NOTHING!!!!!!!! A weak country pushed to buy arms in the black market!!!!! NO POLITICAL MUSCLE!!!!! |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by MikeZA: 1:44pm On Oct 11, 2014 |
Henry120: The uselessness of the SANDF. This is only a further confirmation of the statements made by your defence minister From a man who claims news papers are his sources? From a man who claimed SAAF didn't have pilots around wednesday, and was confronted with pure evidence all he could do was stutter and wear a confused face? From a man who agreed he wasn't knowledgeable about weapons? |

Project Carver is a paper drawing of a South African dream jet fighter that NEVER existed, it was brought to this forum in 2013 by @Saengine and it took only 1 minute to demolish it....by just tearing the piece of paper drawing that any good artist can draw in a day.
The jet NEVER existed....Now pull another one
. It was project,to produce a local fighter jet. It wasn't a paper drawing those who followed by thread will tell you. |

Henry120: First things first, Patrick, since you joined this forum you have not made a single truthful comment.
Mr Mokopa, truth is the farthest thing from you.
All my posts have all been proven to be accurate. The fact you have no aviation fuel and the fact you fly 70years old dakota and 3rd hand C-130's from the U.S have all been proven to be accurate. We have more than $10 million from your gov. The C-130 used water to fly to Lagos? Fact is,when the air force is called to perform a certain task aircraft will available. |

agaugust: Nigeria is NOT Zimbabwe.
Nigeria nationalized British companies many decades ago, and Britain could do NOTHING ! British Petroleum was swallowed up by Nigeria to become African petroleum.
MTN will be gifted to Globacom when we decide to retaliate
. Nigeria men and women will be compelled to carry machetes and work the field to feed their families. You know farming yam!!!!!!!! As companies will be pulling out of Nigeria, with much needed investment. Just try that!!!!!! |
