YES!

TSA- some commentators would say it was it was an idea of a lilly-levered past president. Everybody has ideas including the most stupid person on earth.

Prosecution of highly placed individuals- Saraki, Metu, Dokpesi, etc. The popular arguments among the wrong thinking people are: none of the cases has been successfully prosecuted. It is a process. Let's wait and see. The fight is targeted at opposition, what about APC members. That's a fallacy of 'what about you'. It is illogical. Outgoing American Ambassador counselled on same.

A lot of loopholes have been blocked by the finance minister. Ghost workers issue being eradicated. These were alluded to by the Economist few days ago.

The president stood his ground during the budget padding thing. Right thinking Nigerians now appreciate him more going by the revelations from National Assembly.

People are very careful and afraid to steal in this dispensation. Imagine a banker just took his life because he feared public disgrace. That's a bad decision on his part though.

Very very soon by God's grace a full bag of rice, basket of tomatoes made in Nigeria will be sold for a shekel. Only those who believe and support good change will eat out of it.

Continue Baba!

While the introduction of TSA is a good move to reduce corruption,it has created a problem in the banking sector as,accounts have been closed, money available for banks to transact business has also reduced, interest that would have been generated is been lost as the TSA is just a dommant"account.Again can anyone help us tell buhari that the focus on Agriculture is just too myopic, the world has moved beyond that stage, industrialization, and a service based economy is the key,The operating profit of google and Amazon in 2015 would fund Nigeria's budget conveniently..The government should also focus on Education and research, the world is now knowledge driven.
Agric is a very small but very vital link in the chain and also a quick win while developing manufacturing.
Does Amazon ship breeze or tangible products produced somewhere.

one of the reason why I love debate among presidential candidate.. check out America, there presidential candidate are subjected to rigorous debate where each candidate will propose and criticise each other policy on economy, security and many others..
back here in Nigeria nothing of such only to propose fake promises. promises that cant be fulfilled.. honestly Here in nigeria we don't have leaders .. what we have are power mongers who play politics of hate, tribalism, religion and are good at imposing sufferness on their countrymen!
my advice to this present government is to look for ways to tackle these present challenges by strengthening the naira, bringing foreign investors to invest in nigeria., investing in agriculture, reduction in tax, provide massive employment and ensure security.. these things are not difficult to do my fellow countrymen. our present government lack good economic policy .

Simple ways to go:
1. Produce more locally
2. Consume less foreign products and services
3. Govt should massively subsidize local production and manufacturing
4. Offer a single sigut loan to entrepreneurs on small and medium businesses
5. Nigerians must develop the will power to succeed and abhor ostentatious lifestyle which has been our problem too.
We either diversify and encourage home produced products or we simply continue in the vicious circle.

First step is he should step aside, then the next person would have to restructure the polity... Anambara is an example of a state that us doing absolutely well despite the others crying wolf over monthly allocation.

The major problem we still have is that we import so much more than we export. So it boils down to the government to encourage those who import this goods to try and manufacture them locally.Give them affordable land,0 interest loans, low tax rates etc just to help them build and stand firm, this way they will gladly prefer to produce locally as this in turn will creat more jobs but instead what do we get from the government! High and multiple taxes, ban ban ban, oppresion on all fronts. Infact we have a long way to go in this country.

The Nigerian economy is heavily dependent on crude oil sales. Price goes up the Nigerian state smiles to the bank. It crashes they panic. God knows the word 'diversification' has become a cliche in Nigerian economic discourse but it still remains the way to go.

An economy like Nigeria's mostly consumes mass goods that are imported. This needs to be gradually reversed. Nigeria needs to locally produce most of what she consumes.

EscapadeNg honestly I am more concerned about how the average middle class or poor Nigerian is adapting to this hard time. The elites albeit affected too can still meet their basic needs. What of the less fortunate?

are you even human ? Or should I ask how old are you?

I'm definitely older than you if this is all you can come up with after all the education you're supposed to have gotten

I don't think this is coming from an adult that is intellectually sound

See above

I'm repeating it pls, how old are you? Wow I'm fuvking amazed at what you just wrote

Obviously
It is to be expected from a mindless drone that cannot thimk for itself

As a citizen I don't have RIGHTS, I only have privileges?? W.T.F?

What are rights
I'm sure you cannot define them

You're even bringing God into this?

No slowpoke
I brought the Bible
You pass English waec so?
abi... O OK you're a neco baby. Now I understand

God even understood the basics amenities of mankind, that's why he provided the sun, the rain, light and darkness, night and day, soil and water, and so on.

And what can you do if he decides to take them doofus

That's why they're privileges you doofus

Now what has the Governments provide for it people?

Exactly what the people asked for

Rice, lies, deceit (personally. I don't think they deceived anybody. You're all grown asss individuals)

Is it road, electricity, water, jobs, security?
This are the things we've struggled to provide for our selves.

Na una wan form hero na
It's not their fault you refuse to demand for your ''rights ''
All they see are fools and magas and one chancees

You're asking the farmers to protect themselves?

No be dem wan protect diaselves
Stop eagles from playing ball and see how ppl will flood the streets but when it's a serious thing everyone will say at home waiting for auto pilot to kick in

And we pay taxes to the governments which is being used to pay all forms of forces, police the armies and so on and we still need to go ahead and protect ourselves.

Which tax do farmers pay?
Think before you talk.
How many of una de pay tax
You think it's a majority that pays VAT. How many value have you added as an individual.

You're talking about insurancehuh You think every farmer in Nigeria can go for insurance?

Yes they can
They say 'if you think education is expensive, try ignorance'
I'm the same vein ' if you think insurance is expensive, try going commando ' especially in a risky biz like Agric.

Even the old men and women in the villages that got their produce destroyed and even got killed?

See why you need insurance. Yet you all stubbornly ''leave it to GOD '' when you know that statistics don't lie

And how many insurance do you even have on yourself?

health insurance de kampe
And life insurance as soon as I get a beneficiary
Not my fault you're poorly educated

I'm sure you're the type that hides under his mummy's bed and keep typing poo there, coz you sound like you've never faced the reality of every Nigerian struggle b4.

Been there
Done that
And I'm amazed at the ignorance out there
Even by so called educated doll like you
You're supposed to lead your people to the light instead you're the ring leaders of darkness and superstition. Ignorant dolts.

You're even contradicting yourself by saying WE can only get what we clamoured for e.g the Israelites? I thought your ideology was that we were not suppose to talk?

Talk is cheap, walk your talk
Fight for your right dummy not talk for your rights (privileges), not complain Abbott your problems, not lament, not epistle, get off your lazy ass and FIGHT for your gaddem privileges

And by the way, I'm a graduate and I paid my way out of all the institution I went to with the help of my parents.

Good

I'm a farmer who eats his 3square meal comfortablely and doesn't lack the personal basic amenities of life that's bcoz I make them available for myself. And by God's grace I will only go higher.

Excellent

I'm voicing out because the leaders failed their promises...

And I guarantee you your voice doesn't mean sheet
Do something not say something

You even said they're fighting for their families so we should fight for ours, which means if you get to where they are, you will only fight for yourself and family alone gosh your reasoning disgust me. How old are you againhuh??

Of course
Wetin concine me with fools that refuse to stand and fight for what they claim to believe in
Eediots that will run away when the going gets tough.
bleeping cowards all of you lot.
You deserve the leaders you get.
Until you learn to stand up for yourselves you will never get any good leaders

You and about 2 other people of your kind are the only odd ones on this thread
dunno who they are but I like em already
They are willing to face the truth while you ignorami choose to bury your head in the sand.

Why will I be talking about empowerment and baggars will be talking about rice and sharing of loot
Talking about changing things idiotr will be talking about 'so long as I can feed my family in OK ' or stoopidly saying 'there is no hope, so God should help only then to survive.
