Hate or like Atiku, one thing about him is he is a care free, easy-going man. If he had wicked revenge mind like Buhari, he would have strangled Obasanjo for what he did to him. Atiku is will not witch-hunt any body, he will not tolerate abuse of power to witch hunt anyone. Under his government respect of rule of law will be exemplary. Remember Atiku is not just a politician, he is an entrepreneur, industrialist and most importantly an educator....not an Islamic educator, A WESTERN UNIVERSITY EDUCATOR!

Atiku, you have millions of Nigerians behind you. Make sure you pick a technocract as VP; Prof. Charles Soludo or Dr. Olusegun Olutoyin Aganga

Atiku seems to be crossing all 't's and doting all 'i's towards 2019 elections.
If Twitter comments would make a good politician, the Nigerian Senate would have been the best in the world: Ben Bruce, Shehu Sanni, Bukola Saraki etc.

My problem with Atiku is that I can't trust him.
I trusted Buhari but his government disappoint me.
I just can't bring myself to trust Atiku enough to vote for him at all.
this wan wen the trusted all failed I'm tempted to try the untrusted maybe miracle will happen. no kukuma good candidate anyway

If a girl says she doesn't want to do and you still force yourself on her it's rape.

If a girl follows you to a hotel or to your house or office, even if she wears a mini skirt and no undies and she doesn't consent, it's rape.

If you and the girl are doing it and after a while she says stop but you don't stop, it's rape.

A lot of Nigerian men need to understand this.

lol.. What a joke..

But seriously, when a 68 year old is making the decisions for youths 15-35, I wonder what kind of decisions will be taken.

Youth leaders need to be matured youths who really knows what's currently up. The world keeps changing rapidly and it's only a youth who is passing through these changes that can understand the plight of other youths. 68-35 is 33 years gap..
name one matured youth, just one I dare you

what do you guys think.
personally I don't agree with the age or any restrictions

I also believe leaders should emerge naturally not picked 12 years ahead and supported through thick and thin. what if he's a thief or a rapist or worse a colonialist.

my suggestion
1) 'good leaders should contest or support (for appointment like ministers or commissioners)

2) loot
3) invest loot in agriculture (fast returns)
4) complete all 'looted' projects
5) use agric returns to contest/support next election
6)rinse repeat

or

plan b

gather candidates from president to councillor (11,891)

they contribute 1 to 10 k per week
invest in agric or manufacturing
grow funds geometrically
contest in 8 years when they're controlling billions if not trillions

Remember this is not about now, it isabout thefutureso try as much as possible to project your mind 12 to 16 years from now when thinking about it. It cannot worknowbut maybe with some hard work it can work in 2031 or 2035.There are hundreds of people on this email list so Iwant to be able to read everything you say. The Long Game - A Plan for Nigeria in 2031 or 2035IntroductionThank you for adding your email address to the post onaguntasolo.co. As I said, I want to share some ideas in my head with you. It is a long term plan and as such I want you think of it in terms of thefutureand not neccesarily today. So without wasting too much of your time, let me go straight to the pointRemember 1999?When Abdulsalami Abubakar announced he was going to return power to civilians in 1999, many people did not believe him after being dribbled by IBB for 8 years and by Abacha for another 5 years. That was a crucial mistake because a lot of peopledecided to adopt a wait and see and elected not toparticipate in the process. This then opened the space for people who were simply bold e.g Bola Tinubu and James Ibori. Those people who grabbed the opportunity in 1999 have been greatly rewarded for their luck andthe chance they took. They have completely dominated the political space since then.Let's take this as a painful lesson that must not repeat itself. Because sometimes, something that began as a mistake or pure luck or an accident of history can be compounded and turn into something permanent. Did you see that Governor Ajimobi's son recently married Governor Ganduje's daughter? If we accept things as they are, those children are sure to become our leaders tomorrow. So What?In 16 years time, Bola Tinubu will be 81 years old. Buhari will be 91, Obasanjo will be 96. Think of all the other people who currently dominate Nigerian politics and add 16 years to their current age. There is a good reason to think that over the next 12 to 16 years, their grip will be completely broken. But these men are not fools and many of them are already grooming successors in various ways. They will want to hand power to a new crop of people who have been loyal to them. This is the part none of us has to accept. Except ofcourse you are happy with their stewardship of Nigeria so far and trust them enough to let them continue via their successors.Outline of The MovementI don't want to call it a party but what if we start a movementnowwith a plan to wrest control of power (democratically) in 12 to 16 years time? It will require an incredible amount of work and discipline not to talk of commitment but it is not impossible. My idea for this movement is for groups of 10 people each. There will be 2 types of groups - offline and online. For offline groups, it will work as a simple normal group based aroundlocation. Think of it as something like a house fellowship. For online groups, this can be formed in Whatsapp, Telegram or BB groups. These groups will be formed around interests. This part is not too complicated and with some basic technology and planning, it can be structuredin a way that allows internal democracy and dissemination of information. This movement will be designed from the beginning to avoid the problems with the current political party system. For example, voting will be by mobile phone on a given day and time. You will simply vote by SMS in the primaries without any need to assemble somewhere. It is the next part of this idea that is a bit radical...Selecting Candidates NOWTo win in 2031 or 2035, we will pick our presidential (and other candidates)NOW. We will do a rigorous selection by advertising for people who meet our criteria to come forward now. The number one criteria wil be age - the person we pickas Presidential candidate cannot exceed 45 years of age and ideally be closer to 40 years. The idea is that by 2035 (if all plans go well) the person willbe around 55 years of age when he/she becomes president. How will we pick someone? We will test them for IQ. We will do a full and extensive medical check on the person to determine that they are healthy. We will assess them for potential and their development in life so far and achievements.Once we pick the person, we will then begin to invest in them to be president over the next 12 to 16 years. For example*.We will fund them to learn all the 3 major Nigerian languages*.We will train them in public speaking and how to campaign and speak.*.We will provide all the resources needed for their personal development to grow into the role of president over 12 to 16 years.*.We will even regulate their dressing and appearance. If it is a man, we will also fund the training of their wife and children to ensure they are not just mentally prepared for the job but to project the image of what we want a Nigerian president to be.*.We will ensure they visit every part of Nigeria over 12 to 16 years...multiple times.Remember - this is not about now. It is about the future. All the things we don't like in the current system, we will seek to correct them. When last did we have a Nigerian leader who could address Nigerians in a way that made us calm when we areangry or fill us with optimism when the nation is in despair or comfort the nation after a tragedy or unite us when we are divided? These are all the things we will train our candidate(s) in over 12 to 16 years. We will also of course choose Senators, Reps and Governors and also provide various bespoke training for them. The catch is - once we have picked people we will stick with them (through thick and thin) and back them all the way. This will require an incredible amount of discipline but indiscipline is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) problem with our politicians today so if we discipline ourselves before power, we will have a serious chance of being better. The StrategySo how can this work. The strategy is simple - we will participate in 4 elections with the plan of 'wasting' 3. Here's howCampaign 1- This will be purely for name recognition. We cannot win and we know we cannot win. All we want is to get name recognition and let as many people as possible known our candidate.Campaign 2- The day after the election for campaign 1, we will start campaigning for election2. For this one, the plan will be to win a certain number of votes and test our ideas with Nigerians. We cannot win but people will be able to see that our candidate has grown and get used to the type of person we are putting forward.Campaign 3- Also assume we cannot win. But by this time we want to be able to win some bloc votes e.g some types of traders or groups or even states or regions. By this point, our plans/manifesto should be fixed and we just continue to hammer home the message. People should know our name as a group and our candidates as individuals.Campaign 4- We win. That's it. We 'waste' 3 campaigns to win at the 4th one. The key difference is that we plan to lose the first one so as soon as we have lost it, we immediately move on to the next phase of the longgame.FundingHow will this be funded? The major expenses required will be investment in our candidates and the cost of the campaigns. The key thing is that wewill permanently be campaigning low key for 12 to16 years so we can do it in a way that does not require spending billions at the main election if wespread out the spending.Based on this, I have been thinking about funding the movement based on a subscription/membership model. We don't want anyone to drop N100m - what we want is a commitment to give N500 or N1000 per month. We will target the diaspora heavily as well - $10 or £10 or C$10 per month from as many people as possible.Other ways of raising money will of course be used but this will be the core source of funding that will be used to execute the plan.General OrganisationWe will encourage members to commit to what they want now and then spend the next 12 to 16 years developing themselves in that area. If you dont want to run for elected office but want to be aminister, you will have to start now. If you want to be a senator, you have to start now by first understanding what is wrong with our current lawmaking process. We will seek to create a culture of reflection and deep thought and long term planning in this movement. And patience and discipline not to be distracted from the long term goal by the 4 year electoral cycle and general Nigerian gra gra.I don't know if any of this makes sense. That's whyI wanted to share it with you first. This is t
