5DMindset: Joe Igbokwe's story is a sad one. He came from deadliest level of poverty and it has destroyed his understanding of what it is, to be human. I was bamboozled by his rendition of teary story of sweat, tears and blood. And his allegiance to his Masters on how Lagos has benefitted him. I felt so ashamed reading such story, but then it exposes the mind behind the person, because when I read his comments, I used to wonder what manner of man would be so anti to his own tribesmen, then what I read is a story of a destroyed soul. A man who does not know he is a boy boy, a real one.
He is a slave and has no one to tell him. so you believe in biting the finger that fed you. what did nnewi do for Joe.? abeg Mowu hia word. you potor ppl can't be trusted |

fastgyal: I looked into this woman's eyes and I saw pains and withheld tears. This is more reason why we should pay attention to the physically disabled or those with abnormalities. I advocate that these people have a say in our affairs And shouldn't be segregated or made to feel bad. I don't blame the woman, she probably was in love with the man And felt telling him her deep secrets would make him abscond, leaving her heart shattered into pieces. she probably had told her previous partners and it didn't yield anything positive. Please let's show love to people with special disabilities. physical disability doesn't mean mental ability. We are all one and people need to understand that these people didn't choose to be the way they are. things like this make them feel inferior. if you read my story, you'd learn from me. I'd be 19 by Oct this year, would be in my 400level hopefully by that October. So my dear and to whoever is reading it. I've been using just one eye since my primary school days after I lost the other to an operation gone wrong. it hasn't deterred ME from achieving my dreams. I've got brains and a body that would drive men agog. I don't care about the Stares I receive from people. I've simply learnt to overlook my imperfections. I pray God gives her a husband who'd love her truly. please nobody should pity me ooo. I just wrote this to inspire others. she's a big fool. what did she think would happen on wedding night |

Statsocial: If there is something I admire about Bishop Oyedepo. It is his radical belief in young people. He gives responsibilities that are almost unbelievable to young people.
I mean who uses a young trained pilot as personal pilot without a career experience.
Or allow 'inexperienced' CU Architecture students in designing the biggest church auditorium in the world(faith theatre) and every other building that comes up in the university and presumably other universities and projects being handled by the commission.
He did this same thing in Covenant university when he bypassed over 95 professors to appoint Dr. Oludayo(who was then youngest registrar) as registrar-how that didn't cause dissent, I don't know.
I myself has been skeptical about some of his choices. Especially using a pilot without career experience or using certified but inexperienced CU Architects for a project reportedly worth 40 billion(faith theatre) and 700 billion(canaancity)
But at least I have never seen any negative consequence to those choices he makes. Infact most young ppl he uses are excellent at the job he assigns them. experience is overrated. good to have but overrated |

Tolatutu: men are not superior to women. Gender equality is about equal opportunities and equal rights and we should stop bringing in religion when are are talking about laws. If we want to be talking about religions then lets go all the way and not pick and choose what suits us. I'am sure in your years of education you've come across women who are smarter than you and i'am sure there are women are are physically stronger than you. Gender equality is about giving opportunities to who ever is best, you can choose to practice whatever you want in your relationships that's prerogative as long as you can find a spouse who reasons like you . But in the general society (work place, schools e.t.c )you should put that aside. We are talking about things like women should be able to inherit property just like their brothers, landlords should only be interested in paying ability (income) not your sex or marital status. Passport office should not be asking a woman to get a letter of consent from her husband when no man will be required to provide such. As an adult a woman should be able to get a passport on her own merit, its only when children are concerned that the consent of both parents should be needed. women should stop being terrible tenants (complain and don't pay on time) |

mizquote: before some peeps misconstrue gender equality as sex equality let me give a brief definition to the both.
sex. it means the biological difference between a man and woman which is not socially constructed and it is universal e.g all men are born with penis while the woman with the vjayjay.
both men and women folk can not be the same.
gender. it is the difference roles assigned to both sexes l.e male and female which is socially constructed and differs from country to country and continent to continent.
e.g, in some countries people see it as a taboo for men to cook while other country see it as no biggie.
men pay bride price in Nigeria while women pay groom price in India.
not every man is strong and not every woman is weak and fragile.
this is why "gender equality" term was coined to give rooms for the differences.
let women who feel they re strong and love tedious job be given the opportunity to do that. they can go into the military and engineering without being discriminated on.
let's men who wish to be cooks, nurses, road side akara fryer be given the opportunity to do that without been discriminated on.
men can be house husbands if they wish to and their wives bread winners. how many happy homes do you know with house husband.there's a reason biology is a science |

ojeota: When you talk about equality you are talking about 50-50, a perfect 50, with no -1 or 0. attached to it, which is impossible in reality. What i am saying is equality does not exist, not just in terms of gender but also in all spheres of life. The thing we should be advocating for is mutual respect. Respecting one another irrespective of who we are, is all that matters. see woman with sense. this one go quick see happy marriage |

And yet he will still sit down on his behind and wait for his wife to come home to start cooking and cleaning and washing. He doesn't life a single finger to help. That is a plain lazy man. No man who loves his wife will sit down and watch her suffer like that. The least he can do is help. Tis her fault. why did she marry a spiteful man like that. what isshe doing with her salary, can't she hire help and outsource cooking and let the man foot the other bills |

EmpressOfHearts: Lolol.... its more to it than just "you hire and you fire"... this isn't the apprentice (which the "boss" who we think "hires and fires" will quickly learn soon enough)... far different from a boss or board of directors at some firm single-handedly making decisions... just because he's president doesn't mean he is above what we call checks and balances... its funny because this very statement depicts I believe the very mentality Trump walks around with... "oh how hard could this be I just wave my big stick, point and boss folks around, and tell them what to do as I did at Trump Towers"... those "checks and balances" are what we call the job of the House and the Senates.. the gov't sector it is VERY different, my friend... I could be here all day explaining why there are vast differences but theres no need to I just know because I live and breathe it daily... don't take my word for it... however each and everyone is entitled to be as aware or as unaware as their heart desires he hires and fires. all there is to executive. |

cao: It appears you messed up the quote system. You say one man, one vote. While, by that logic, Trump should not be president, since he didn't win the popular vote, but that's the way it is. Draining the swamp, that's proven to be ironic, since he appears to still be using its residents. And I loved the fact that he basically opened his own yash about it during his victory tour. Saying how he thought the phrase was hookey (sp?) and cheesy, but kept using it when he noticed the audience liked it. His audience kept smiling and clapping, while I kept laughing. The guy will lie and then tell you he lied. Kudos to him.
So you think US isn't corrupt, my guy every country has its corruption, some even covered by loopholes in the law. The same country that ran an illegal war, remember? Everyone is always quick to call Clinton, the mother of ISIS. Err...riddle me this, who was in charge of the US during said illegal war? Bush. The same war that helped cultivate these terror groups. Let's not even start talking about how the US has messed up some countries for their own interest. The continent of South America can attest to some weird ish from the US over the years - seriously, they overthrew Guatemalan government in the name fruit (either bananas or oranges. Oh and apparently communism. You can read up on United Fruit Company). The whole tax returns thing is simply to show himself accountable to the people. It's one of the main things every western politician does.
