my brother same thing am curious to know about .. It's shows this government has been encouraging corruption in this regard .. Which sensible govt will close it's eye against the margin between official rates and black market rate without doing sometime about it .. Sometimes u wonder where this people fix their brain in Abuja , it's just acting out like a movie script doesn't seem realistic with wat this government is doing .

For months he was busy traveling , no cabinet , no fiscal policies for months and u expect things to still work out never , modern day economy waits for no one .. Imagine the United States without fiscal policy for days , u can tell how much will be lost in wall streets .. U guys laid d foundation for all what the economy os going through .. Instead of hittin the ground running u were busy lookin for technocrats for months puttin government to a stand still.

If 23billion is shared and no one is convicted and jailed for it then it's all a hoax.. I don't see why such amount will be looted and we only read it on the media, we need action

I wrote here on nairaland before this floating of currency thing was implemented .. I said it was never goin to succeed cos such measures was for a short term plan to stabilize the currency and further no country has ever succeeded with this method APC supporter where callin me unpatriotic, even Uk tried it around the 90s and her currency wept .. I studied politics and international relations here In Sweden and was taught all this things .. Then how much more a federal bank Cbn who ought to know this principles are not effective for a developing country like nigeria .. This things are not ordinary some people don't just want to see nigeria great at all cos government is a joke in this nation . This it mean we don't have good economist in the nation or wat .. Cbn governor should resign and minister of fianance cos they have lost ideas .

am telling u my friend, nigeria has never witnessed such economic decline like this .. Everything is going hail while and u call this change certainly not ..

By dec it will get to 500 naira at the rate this thing is going .. Why did we get it wrong , they say last administration did not save , they say we didn't diversify like it takes a day to do that .. Everything boils down to unnecessary delays in fiscal policies looking for technocrats at the time , forgetting that modern day economics wait for no one, insecurity here and there , strict fx regulations in the name of fighting corruption only to make things worst . No power supply .. So many technical and fundamental principles affectin the economy , how then do U want investors to come and invest when some are already leaving the nation .. It's high time pmb leaves .. This was one of the reason he was overthrown .. A man that is so obessesed with fighting corruption and have no knowledge of governance except corruption

Honestly I really get pissed off whenever this man talks of corruption.. Corruption this corruption that .. What d heck is that the only thing his brain has been programmed to do in his administration ? It shows he has lost touch with the reality on ground .. Happy corruption fighting while people are dyin and starving .

In the real sense , economic development should make more noise than the anti corruption war , all of this things are distractions .. If u really want to fight corruption, let there be an overhaul of the police force and make reforms make the police force effective in ensuring the rule of law . Moreso block all loopholes for looting . You can reduce corruption to a bare minimum but u certainly can wipe it away.. Every nation has it's own kind of challenges with corruption.. Pls we need more economic solutions .. How folks has this administration convict not to talk of re opening the cases of former governor . This govt is as clueless as nothing to waste time, funds and resources without any conviction .

I tell you , why spend money on a lady when you are struggling to survive .. Even over here in my base in Europe I get friend request from babes in naija after 1 or 2 chats and they message u , when u say how are u . They tell u they are not fine .. Make u know say dem wan tax u .. One even insulted me that am stingy ... Na so person dey give money out ? There is hardship yes .. But try to build a friendship with someone first before demanding for money immediately..

They send their children to good schools abroad, while they do nothing about schools in Nigeria. I think it is high time we stopped public officials from sending their children to schools outside Nigeria

exactly my friend , I rightly said same .. It's really a slap on our face , they can't fix the educational system here .. If leaders can't fix it who will ? It's sending their kids abroad the solution who will in turn come back and take up govt jobs .. It's still goin around the circle

I didn't go to the schools I dreamt of right from primary, but I'll work my butt of to make sure my kids have the best whether or not I'm a public office holder.

I understand u my friend .. But my point here is this , it's not wrong to send your kids to study outside of the country .. But as leaders of our nation , if they can fix the educational system to certain standard and it's affordable for all to a reasonable point ,no one will care about their kids studying abroad .. But in a situation where the educational system is rot , u keep seeing them post pics of their wards abroad like that's some kind of mockery to us , meaning they don't care about the quality of education in nigeria if not they would have fix the problems with our educational system ..since this week it has been trending on social media of our leaders wards graduatin oversea its not a bad thing but it shows how insensitive they are on the plight of our educational system in the nation
