Guys please don't be angry for the long post but this are trying times for me as well as "matters of the heart" concerning me and IELTS and they said "a problem shared is a problem solved"

I keep getting 7.5 on listening and 6.5 on reading even though I read/practice/prepare as if I'm going for MBBS exam. My practice score for both listening and reading are most often within the range of 38- 40 but "I still dey gbagaun for the actual test " dunno y cry

Here is list of things I think might I be doing wrong when it comes to the listening section:
i. I write all my ans in caps.
ii. I go back to correct the tenses and more often change from singular to plural and vice versa as the sentence required.
iii. In the last test I took; the question required you answers be written in two words and a number; the speaker called out a date of birth as "22nd the 7th 1985" and I wrote "twenty-second July 1985" was I correct? cos i'm thinking this contributed to my downfall and wouldn't want to fail such a question ever in my life.

In reading, I knew my weakness was T/F/NG; Y/N/NG and matching heading so I took out time to practice question on this alone until I started acing it consistently yet "I still enter 6.5 bus" lipsrsealed aside this I can't point a finger to what could be wrong with the reading section.

I planned on taking the next available test as "e dey hot" but on reading canadianfly's write up, I had to take a second guess cos she really made a good point; but my problem could not be practice as I invest good time in it.

Lastly, could it be BC

Good evening,

I would like to confirm if Vet doctors can use WES for their ECA. I checked IRCC and WES website, and the only people exempted from using services like WES are Physician/Specialist Physician (NOC 3111 or 3112) and Pharmacist (NOC 3131).

Is this correct thank you.

Please thank you

U are yet to let me know what employment documents IRCC demanded from ur Spouse. Congratulations!

IRCC didn't demand any employment records from my spouse. He didn't include his work experience since it didn't increase our point in any way

Thank you all for the great feedback. I got my passport request today. I was able to reach the bank, they were able to help spool the statement and provide reference letter within two days. I am really grateful to God and the awesome people around me. Thank you so much

Thanks for this information. I think you are consistent enough and your getting ADR shows they need clarification (or as the case may be stronger proof of eligibility). Since you have other documents requested such as you and your spouse's passport and all, then the problem isn't so much your data as my check as you or i may think.

I read you have gotten some .xls format documents showing past payments, this should suffice with a letter of explanation as to why you didn't include or use the job to get into the pool in the first place.

Apologies for any typos and all the best with your Application.

Please could you help to clarify ?

3. I don't know why cic will ask for references for a job you aren't claiming points for. Attach as many documents as you can from this job with an explanation that you aren't claiming points for it as you are unable to obtain a reference from the employer.

4. Banks can generate statements for closed accounts but this is usually done by IT not the branch. Insist on your statement at the branch you visited, it is totally possible, just ask them to escalate the request if it is beyond them.

Thank you. I got in touch with someone in IT the person said yes they can spool it out but it would be in excel format and thats not official. I will return to the branch and ask that it be escalated. Thank you.

2. Was you job in your EE profile before you got ITA and then moved it to your personal history? If yes, it is probably necessary in the computation of your eligibility and CRS scores and as such you would need to provide the required references for it.

My job was not in my EE profile, I was specific to choose just 1 year experience to avoid issues. Since 1 year experience gave me the required point anyways there was no reason to include other jobs that I may have issues getting the required documents. Also it was stated in my LOE that I was claiming points for just 1 year and as a result I didn't provide reference letters for others.

However, under my personal history, I couldn't leave the jobs because those periods I was employeed. Moreover when I renewed my US visa, I stated my employeers details and so chances are that they share intelligence anyways. So to avoid any form of contradicition I simply stated it as it is.

Please answer the following questions if you are comfortable sharing the info.

Visa refusal to Canada, UK or US? And how long ago was this? Did you maintain a degree of consistency with your Applications then and now? And how much has your status changed since then e.g Marriage, extra degree, Travel history?

I was a student in the UK, towards the end of my program I wanted to visit Spain , I was denied. Since then my status has changed, I got married, I and my spouse applied for the Us Visa and travelled alone and returned. I also renewed my US visa recently.

Do not mind them, show efforts made to get the reference letter and if you cannot get the reference letter within the time frame given, state it in a Letter of Explanation and attach your employment letter, confirmation (if you have it) and other documents showing that you were employed by the Bank including copies of ID card and/or call cards.

Attach your recent bank statements (where your salary is being deposited), the TBills and accounts that has the funds from the gift deed and submit. The reason i said, it might be bank statement where your salary is being paid is because that was the majority request from some people in the whatsapp group. I think evidence to show payment from the company you claim you work for.

Don't fret, your PPR will fall on you like rain.

Meanwhile what exactly is your AOR, we have a whatsapp group for July aors in London and we have been trying to analyze the dates that are presently being treated.

Thank you and all the best.

Thank you and amen. My AOR was July 12.

But u weren't asked to provide statement of account for ur bank job.

Yes I was not asked to provide statement for my bank job. However, my bank which was also my employeer closed my account in order to create a staff account. The closed account is where my previous employeer was paying my salary. CIC has requested for evidence of salary deposit from my previous employeer

Hi Millicarter,

London London. They are working that is good news.

I believe you are good to go , however, the bank statements requested for, is it for pof or salary?

Also what is your aor, are you July as well. Seems they are seriously working on July files.

Thanks.

Thank you, yes I believe they are working on July at the moment as lots of people claimed to receive the ADR on November 20th. Also a friendd who applied in 1st week of July just got his PPR.

AOR is July

The purpose of the statememnts required is what I am unclear about. My POF is my Gift deed and husband's treasury bills investment, and since the jobs they are requesting for does not even give me additional points as I didn't claim it under my work history.

Hi House,

We also received an ADR requesting that we provide Height, eye colour, passport data page, bank statement and payslips.

1) My proof of fund was provided by a Gift deed (49%) and by my husband (51%). Husband provided source of the fund employment letter, statement and letter explaning the funds. Also the fund was in form of a 1 year treasury bill. The fund was 3 months away from maturity when we applied.

2) I only claimed points for 1 year work experience which was in HR. Although I worked in a Bank and currently work in a construction firm, I didn't put this in my work history. I only specified it in my personal history. As such no point was awarded for it.

3) However, CIC has asked me to provide reference letters for my bank job and current employment. Also I've been asked to provide the payslip and corresponding bank deposit for the job i claimed point for and my current job.

4) I have my payslips however for the bank statement for one of my jobs is not available. After i joined the bank, the bank opened accounts for us as staff and closed my former account. I was in the bank branch today and asked to print my statement. I was told that the statement cannot be printed as the account was closed. However, I've sent a mail to the bank to document the situation.
In the event the bank cannot provide me with the statement, I intend to attach the email alerts I got for the times the salary was paid into my account, my mail to the bank and the response received from the bank and an explanation saying that the bank could not provide me with statement.

5) I was asked to provide reference letter from the bank. I've called the HR at the bank and was asked to send a email. I've sent the mail and given the bank's not so stellar record of being bureaucratic, In the event they can't provide the refernence, I've decided to submit my employment , confirmation letter and complementary cards and correspondence with the bank as regards my reference letter.

6) On myCIC portal, there is no placeholder to upload the documents. I've sent a mail to the London office and copied ottawa and also raised a technical issue report on the portal.

I'd like to know if there's anyother thing I can add or am missing at the moment. Thank you so much.
