i have an uncle who is really good in electrical work
while he was in school he wasn't serious because he is studying electrical engineering
maybe he thinks he already knows what he is been taught, so he wasn't serious with his studies until his carry over courses was too much so he dropped out of school.

Now he is married he works for a construction company
his boss and many of his colleagues at work acknowledged to the fact that
he is good, he has been transferred to Sapele from Lagos but what everybody is saying is that if he had stayed in school who knows he might be in
a more comfortable position.

then i said to my self i would never make the same mistake he made.

please nairalanders share any mistake you have made in life or people you know, for others to learn from,

Life is about chooses trust me he made the right decision as at then you can always see things in two ways. What if he graduated from school with his knowledge in electrical works and couldn't get a job lol. That would be crazy then people would sat he just went to waste money for schooling he could have used the money to open a business for himself. See ehn people must talk no matter what you do. And speaking of mistakes there is nothing like mistakes in this life only choices. You make choices not mistakes. Good or bad you face the consequences of your choices. Two things I want you to take from this
1. Follow your guts
2. Forget what people say or think

If they are doing better with there life they wont have time to think of someone else business

Firstly, i don't like getting my nose in people's business but this one pass me. My neighbor is in his early forties and a really nice guy who i've known for 3 years. I was sick of staying home last week Saturday so i strolled to the estate gate by 7pm as this lock-in period was really getting to me. On my way back, i took a longer, lonelier route 3 streets behind mine only to see my neighbors wife in a parked LR4 kissing one old man in is fifties. For some strange reason i looked at the car and the mobile phone light inside shone making me see here as clear as i'm typing now. In shock she waved and i waved back. After 10 paces , the car honked and i looked back to see the woman running towards me. She wanted to explain and i asked her "Madam do we know each other?" and winked. She smiled and said "no" and went back.

As sleek as an answer that it was, i feel guilty because the couple as always came visiting two days ago as they always do. After they left, i told my wife and she said that she will leave this with me and god as she trusts me to know what to do. This thing has made me spend money calling one popular therapist yesterday. I even pay on top for phone counseling.. After we spoke, the guy said he needs me to mind my business and not take up some other persons load. He said if i saw the woman, it simply meant that she was already getting reckless with her affairs and would be caught soon.

I met this guy on line, he was everything I was looking for in a man. Boy was I wrong, I opened up to him on how I was used by men in the past and he used this info to do just that!!

The last visit I had with him, he was talking marriage and family plans telling me how much he loved me and that I was the one he wanted. I really wanna cure my curiosity guys, as I heard a story not quite long about a married man with 2 kids who has no family background whatsoever, but the wife continued digging and asking questions till the man decided to take them to his place finally.

A day to actual day they'll depart came and the man gave the necessary directions to his wife on how they'll get there, the woman was surprised and asked him why he never mentioned it before, but the man was unperturbed.
The next morning the wife woke up and was about getting the kids ready but the man was nowhere to be found.
He searched the whole house to the neighborhood all to no avail. He doesn't know any family relation to call and she was an orphan. So she took it upon herself to find out what could have happened to himor where he could be. She reported to the police immediately but they found no record no how to trace him. So they advised her to look for him down to his village, she finally decided to go to the village herself.. On getting to the village, the unthinkable happened, the man's family was astonished to hear her stories they took her to a nearby grave where he was buried 10 years ago and explained to her how he died. The news ran chills down my spine cos part of me wants to believe but secondly I'm still having serious doubts about it.
