Nobody is discouraging anybody but the TRUTH needs to be told.

Care work is saturated already.
It is not easy for those in care and support worker roles but I am about changing employers as mine is within the field of Psychology as there are many NHS openings coming up daily

How to know a chronic harlot. They don't regard their bodies because different men have bastardized it so much. So it's nothing to them.

Tue!
That one ascribes to Gymnosophy(nudism) doesn't make one a harlott, we all view our bodies differently and from the story, the husband is also a nudist.

Wow this is wonderful. But don't say you don't need to use it, nobody loves waste of scarce resources
I don't live in Nigeria thus have no need for such, my family homes both in Lagos and in the village are both off grid as they are powdered by a mix of solar and wind, while the cooking gas in the village house is methane processed from the installed biodigester which is fed with food and farm wastes.

Oga have you been using it? 😂
I don't need to use it to prove it is not new because I don't even need it but see the attached The Guardian reportage.... note, the 2016 date.

I was involved in a project where our generator was powered by methane generated from farm waste ....so this is no big deal.

I don't mean the man should stay at home, but that is the excuse many of you give here. I have read many of you here allude to the fact that the man making money and paying bills is not caring enough. Making me wonder how else you expect a man to care for or bond with his children, given our kind of environment.
I don't give that as an excuse.....this is my field, I earn my daily bread from!😂😂😂

There are fathers in their old age whose adult children takes care of financially in terms of food, clothing, medications etc but have no filial relationship with.
Family › Re: Why Do Married Men Suddenly Lose Interest In Their Wives and try to avoid her? by Mindlog: 10:40am On Jun 11, 2023
Jman06:
In my environment, it is out of place for a man to stay home and start bonding with his children. He's expected to be out there working and paying bills. But after all the years of working and paying bills, he's still considered as not available for the kids and so, no love nor care for him at old age. The mother gets all the love.

Most men have made peace with that arrangement, so they try to make themselves happy the way they can and expect less from anyone.
Is your environment not in Nigeria?

You think bonding is tied to staying at home with children? Truly, you have no idea of the psychology of children.😂😂😂

A Legend.
Family › Re: Why Do Married Men Suddenly Lose Interest In Their Wives and try to avoid her? by Mindlog: 10:24am On Jun 11, 2023
Jman06:
It is what it is. In the environment where I live in Nigeria, men are seeing as liabilities should then demand care and love.

They are meant to work their asses off, marry, care for wife and children, and just about the time the children are ripe enough to care for their parents, he dies leaving the wife to enjoy all the benefits.

Even when he defies death and lives on, he dares not demand love and care from his family, else he'll be considered a liability and less of a man.

That's the reality most men have come to accept in my environment.
You can't demand for care and love from relatives, it naturally flows from bonding.

Majority of adults who feel indifferent towards their parents are aftermaths of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences). Children who had secured attachments with their fathers during childhood and adolescence, are more likely to have their fathers close to their hearts in his old age.

Jman06:
Most men don't need your care at old age! No man gets loved nor cared for from the adulthood. So, by the time they're old, they would have gotten used to not being cared for.
Is this evidence based? Please do share data.

The rumoured immediate sack of Mele Kyari has been reportedly denied by the Presidency so people should let the man focus on his job.

Mele Kyari is actually a very brilliant administrator and he has steered clear of partisan politics unlike the embattled Mr Emefiele who went as far as paying N100m to buy the presidential nomination form of the ruling party while still a substantive CBN Governor.
And the APC without qualms, greedily collected the N100m for the nomination form he collected from the party while aware that he was still then the CBN Governor? 🙄
