I don't know, recently I observed a woman who beat,slap,knok on the head on her own child for every little thing he did.

My parents decided to marry each other, my father went with his kinsmen to my mother's family to seek her hand in marriage, provided what my tradition requires of a groom and his family and when the traditional marital rites were completed, they had their Church wedding a month later after which they began living together.

Over the decades, my father is still warmly welcomed and highly regarded by my mother's family, that is not what is accorded a "buyer"...a buyer is pay and disappear.

just don't know why a man will carry his money to buy a woman and bring her to his house to be feeding her,clothing, paying rent for her and ensuring her emotional stability,all for what ? What exertly are you gaining in marriage that you can't get outside marriage.

Inform both sides of your families, likewise report the threat at the police station so that she gets to sign an undertaking and leave that marriage as I have worked in a female prison facility where I had sessions with some women who killed their intimate partners and a pattern was common....in their altercations with their deceased partners they had at least once or twice threatened to kill them.

Same goes for women, if a man you are in a relationship with ever threatens to kill you, leave and report to your family and his, then the police.

"Open" eye in the context of desiring more for her life and not tied down in marriage to a man who has already lived out his youthful phase. Furthering her education gives her the opportunity to mix with her peers both male and females, be in an intimate relationship if she so wishes and may start thinking of marriage 10 years from now.

OP marrying her, is not him playing the role of a Messiah to "save" her from promiscuity but entirely for his selfish reason which is built on infatuation and someone to control.....when she is through with University/Polytechnic education and still wants to marry the OP and their family supports the union, who am I to counter their matured love?

Done with school, is very likely to be secondary education not tertiary education because if the OP's story is true, then he is so eager to pluck her young and can't risk her first going to a University/Polytechnic that would "open" her eyes as she would meet so many young men on campus.

She's his cousin's daughter. They're not directly related in a way. If she's not being coerced or anything and tgey feel mutual about each other, I don't see why they can't be together.

My tea is what the Indians and Kenyans call Chai masala. It is a ground mix of Kenyan tea and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cloves, black pepper (what the Igbos call uziza) .

I scoop a tablespoon of the ground mix and into about one litre of water in a pot and bring it boil, I will then add quarter of a litre of fresh milk into it leaving the pot uncovered to avoid spilling over and in about 4-5 mins, it is ready. Then seive into my thermos....it has calming effects after drinking it.
