The United States, China and Japan maintained their spots as the largest economies in the world, with a GDP of $18.561 trillion, $11.391 trillion and $4.73 trillion respectively. In a recent publication on The Guardian, China is currently the largest economy in the world (based on PPP). |

Teewhy2: Can someone tell me am dreaming, you mean after the 70% increase in price of petrol and increase in dollars exchange rate which has led to increase in all products including house rent, some people call still be thinking of increasing pump price. All the currency swap deal which we thought could help nobody is telling us anything about it again So where are we going in this countries, minimum salary can't even buy you a bag of rice, businesses are shutting down, entrepreneurs can't even start business as government policy doesn't support small scale business. With this kind of news while won't our best brains and youth run abroad to look for greener pastures. Imagine working as casual in London (without certificate) in UK and you are paid 10 pounds/hour and you worked for 6 hours per day, That is 60 pounds/day. Working 5 days a week =300 pounds, 4ce a month is 1200 pounds. 40% tax you are left with 800 pounds converting to naira @ 525= 420k. How many graduates makes that in 2 months. Please if this analysis is true.. I will cry, cos i tot am now a big boy. |
Business › Re: CBN Directs Banks To Provide For Foreign Currency Loans by mindworx: 5:02pm On Jul 28, 2016 |
dancewith: In simple terms, it means all foreign currency loans (Loans Nigerian banks had disbursed in foreign currency, usually called foreign currency lines) must now be classified as performing or non performing. In the non performing category, these are further classified as doubtful or lost. Each classification of the non performing loans requires the banks to set aside a portion of their income or capital to cover for the possibility that the loan may not be repaid (called provisioning). Doubtful or lost requires different amounts to be set aside
The only surprise here is that this wasn't being done already because this has been the norm for naira denominated loans Thank you. My first thot too |

Romance › Re: Keeping A Long Distance Relationship Alive by mindworx: 4:29pm On Apr 03, 2016 |
layla129: It can be really frustrating and boring at a point i tell you but a distant relationship that survives only grows stronger. I'll share some of my personal tips from experience with you which has helped and is still keeping us going. 1. Visit each other; if you're lucky to be in the same country, visit each other. And if in different countries, still visit. Spend time and money on travels.
2. Video calls/ chats; being able to see each other regularly and talking about EVERYTHING develops intimacy. Send photos, take shots specifically for him.
3. Make an effort and be determined to make things work; if he's a very busy dude like mine, my sister you have to really try. U jst have to pin him down to get things sorted. The longer issues linger, the gap becomes wider.
4. Keep yourself busy; focus on your life too, develop yourself... apart from the personal benefits you gain from this, it tends to take your mind off the thoughts of him for a while. And i'm sure he'll even respect u more for that.
5. Set some rules; in my case, i made it a standard that we should never sleep over a disagreement. We must settle it before it before we both go to bed...i've gone to bed 3am on an occassion because we just had to straighten out things. We know each other's schedule for the whole day
6.talk dirty to each other and be very romantic; you know what to do Plus, tell him when you're angry or unhappy about anything because he is not with you physically to see your expressions.
These are the ones i remember for now, i hope they were helpful? Hang in there sis layla129 am on bended knees, will you marry me? Please |

ipledge10: paypal? Western union delays...please how can I use PayPal and what is paypal exchange rate
Someone supposed to send through western union for like a week now Both the sender and the receiver must have a paypal account. You (sender) login to your paypal account and send the money. Use the email address the receiver signed up his paypal with. It's just like paying a merchant. Paypal exchange rate = Your bank's rate Well, i have never used Western Union too .. when i can do all from my paypal. |
