Every damn trick they know... Abegg😭😭
while Nigeria should also be busy beating Benin oo, else Rwanda go swear for us, if they beat or draw SA and we couldn’t beat Benin

The kind hope wey una get for this thread, I envy you guys.
yesterday proved that we can't even finish off smaller teams anymore. In this same group, other teams use Lesotho to boost goal difference. When it came to our turn, we dey play them like say na El Classico.

by the time Benin score 1 goal tomorrow in the first half and we spend the entire game looking for an equalizer, maybe it will finally dawn on us that this team is not World Cup material. we're not ready. You can't reap where you didn't sow. When other teams were grinding out results, we were busy dragging our feet and gambling with our coaching staff. We escaped a draw with Lesotho yesterday. what makes you so sure we'll beat Benin? the same Benin wey turn this same Lesotho like garri?
see the way you take dey view football🤣🤣…so because a weak Argentine team struggle against Bolivia, then they will be a walkover for Brazil, or Because Ghana drew with Chad 🇹🇩, They will be a walkover for Nigeria?
oga football is not 1+1

Between Super eagles and Rohr, one party will celebrate qualification to world cup on Uyo stadium again
Either Rohr or Iwobi 😀

omo lets just win Benin well and hopefully find ourselves in the playoffs,
cos this mumu Rwanda i dey fear their carpenter players, this is second time we are needing a favour from Rwanda to help us stop a COSAFA team, they failed us in the first in 2006WCQ
Angola 18pts
Nigeria 18pts
Rwanda plsss help us win or draw Angola, them mumu go lost 0-1 in their own home against Angola, while we needed to beat Zimbabwe wellaa

I just saw the highlights of the match btw SA and Zimbabwe and i dare say there is ray of hope for Nigeria
Firstly, the southafricans like shooting from distance that most times goes off target or hit the keeper's palms. One time, it struck the post.
Secondly, they like passing the ball to perfection around the 18 yard in order create one on one opportunity which the opponents foils
Thirdly, they lack finishing. All shots goes up into the sky
this kinda tactics from an african team can only produce a draw scoreline, especially if your opponent is sitting deep in defense…if Rwanda comes out to play them…Rwanda go beating

When you see a Siasia team you can easily see the coaches input

Even when they lose you can thomps up the team for an impressive display

But Eric Chelle even the win is too scrapple
A team that bost some of the world best attack

Osimhen, Ademola, Boniface etc
Can't find the back of the net

Yet they are playing pressing game

Check the like time out when Eguaveon lead Nigéria vs Benin it was a free flowing attack and the result resounding 3-0

Same Benin Republic same coach Genot rohr
I hope Eric Chelle can repeat what Eguaveon did to qualify nigeria
see all this things no b 1+1, lets stop all this comparison….SiaSia vs Egypt in Kaduna 2017 afcon qualifiers was a poor one, we tend to celebrate the past when we see the present looking not so good….i tell you super eagles vs Guinea last afconq match here in abuja was a very poor match…
Eguavoen vs Rwanda here in Abuja was a very poor one, with our free flowing football and free role given to chukwuleze that day we still ended up loosing…there is no way u will play a smooth football in the cagey position we are, there is no way we play and win well in this tight corner we are…Eric Chelle is winning and we have small hope of qualifying

Once you sow a seed of doubt in the heart of a South African..they collapse like a pack of cards.
simply because dey dont have that large heart of a giant…they are just slowly becoming a huge force…they are not like Nigeria that has seen it all….if we are to switch positions of Nigeria and SA on the table, by now all SA fans would have given up…imagine Nigeria still trailing SA grouo leaders then by 6point, but we still stand gidigba we huge hope say we go qualify shaaaa anyhow🤣🤣…SA trailing us by 6points, them for don share the grace in fellowship tay tay

Mybettingtips:
It’s easy to play good football and win big when you start the qualifier well. Look at all the big time beating minnows anyhow, they all started well. No pressure on them to deliver max 3pts like us. They can play free flowing football. Same can’t be said of the super eagles when you started the job with your team on 3pts after 4 matches.

Look at the first half yesterday, our boys when hoofing and pushing the ball up because of the pressure to score goals. No coordination as the only thing on their mind is to find anyway to score goals. Now imagine we started well and have already booked our qualification 22pts, do you think super eagles would play like that on that type of pitch? No, we would have won Lesotho by 3-0 sef. But we found ourselves in a difficult situation and Eric Chelle is doing his best.

Peseiro lost about 4 games in 6 matches when he got the job. He camped with the boys for afcon for 2-3 weeks and things improved from there. Let finish the World Cup qualifiers first, Chelle will have time to fine tune his tactics when we start preparations for Afcon.
i think this is what is now affecting SA, after that point deduction they are now under pressure to get back to the top, there is one thing in playing lesser than you while you have a game to spare, than playing team lesser than when you are trying to catch up with league leader and must qualify against all odds…omo you gi frustrate

Truth be told
Super eagles are far bigger than Eric Chelle can manage

Even the coaches we have Eguaveon, Siasia and Amunike are higher than him I'm the pecking order
Managing senior national teams, aside Eguavoen that has afcon bronze medal, what has the rest names achieved ahead of Chelle
Amuneke couldn’t cross Afcon group stage
Siasia couldn’t qualify super eagles to Afcon in 2012 and 2017…..see at this point ehhn both Chelle oo,Amuneke oo,Siasia oo never achieve anything with senior national teams make una just leave all of them….out of thw 3 of them sef Chelle has advanced to the quarterfinals stage of Afcon

You are currently 3rd and they are all 2nd placed hence you must consider them above you. It is until you end on similar positions that your argument will hold sway.
then you shouldn’t put us and them on same talk since we are still on 3rd…going back at your post you called Madagascar,Uganda and B/faso our contenders witu this your same view that we are 3rd…i am also making same assumptions as you….your assumption is imaginarily viewing Nigeria as second, so as my own assumptions too

But Peseiro couldn't win these teams! Una no dey see?

Where the phucck was Nigeria before Chelle? 3 points in 4 games! NO GAMES WON! NO GAMES WON!

This is not the time to play beautiful football, how many days have they gotten to train before matches, 3 at most, sometimes 2... JUST WIN YOUR EFFING games first, qualify and then there'll be enough time to discuss tactics and shit.

Them carry two coaches messes give new coach and he's done well so far but fans still dey find wetin no loss. Yes Chelle has been making some funny decisions here and there, but he's the one, HE'S THE ONE still keeping those calculators on your hands till present. It's like y'all don't know this man hasn't lost a game with the Super Eagles after 8 games played. REST IN JESUS NAME! REST!
GBAAAAAAM🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣 for now no EFFING beautiful football….just grind out the result for God sake
They should REST IN JESUS NAAAAME

Don't even mention Chelle and JP in same sentence. With JP we were still in the early stages of the qualifeirs and don't forget he took us to AFCOn final. What did Chelle even achieve that got him the job in the first place. He's a bad coach oga
why has Jpes being jobless since after afcon…even the job he manage get for egypt, he no last 1month there🤣

And so? What makes you think JP won't do far better as the games progress.
why didn’t he do it on his first 2games…
Chelle first 2games (4pts)
Jpes first 2games (2pts)
the difference is clear

Not true. If we get a 2-0 lead we get to +5 while Benin finishes on +3, no calculations further as even H2H we will be superior with both teams on 17points. The problem now arises if South Africa defeats Rwanda. That confines Super Eagles effort to the playoffs depending on the outcome of Madagascar, Burkina Faso and Uganda matches which all luckily come before ours.
The play off contenders have better goal differences than us hence our best option will be a 4:0 and above margin thrashing of Benin Republic.[/b]
The 3 play off contenders you mention here do not have any better GD than us
Burkina has +4(12pts) play home to Ethiopia
Uganda has +3(12pts) play away to Algeria
Madagascar has +3(13pts)play away to Mali
Nigeria has +4(12pts) play home to Benin
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 8:45am On Oct 11, 2025
MetalJigsaw:
Go and check our goal difference and the other runner up teams befor talking bro.
on that table they rivals we have are
1. Burkina faso on +4GD with 12pts(home vs Ethiopia
2. Uganda +3GD with 12pts(away vs Algeria)
3. Madagascar +3GD 13pts(away vs Mali)

Now Nigeria we scored
2-0 vs Rwanda(away)
1-0 vs Rwanda(Home)
2-1 vs Lesotho(away)

Our away game against benin was a loss, our home and away games against SA was a draw, our home game against Lesotho was a draw, our home and away vs zim was a draw and wont be counted since tuey are at the bottom if thw group

so calculating our playoff standing if we are on 2nd we will be tied with burkina faso
Thats +4GD for us with 12pts currently

That's not going to happen. As it stands, nothing is in our hands anymore.
Employing Chelle was the biggest mistake.

That Angola coach was my expectation, or Leroy or that former Zambia coach but Chelle just got the job out of the blue. I was disappointed
Play off is still in our hand oo..a win will do the magic

Really? Can you explain? What must Burkina do or not do?
burkina faso must not beat Ethiopia heavily oo, and Madagascar must not shock Mali oo, even Uganda must not shock Algeria oo…then we can beat Benin heavily..that will automatically qualify us for play off
