And if South Africans like let them relax, they will just find themselves loosing to Rwanda and having 3 point chunked out, then they find themselves on 17 points like play.

I doubt this is correct, FIFA changed both games (Vs Lesotho and Vs Nigeria) to Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein because the field of previous venue isn't good. We are playing in same field that Lesotho played. Lesotho and South Africa played well there. It is not excusable, if we don't play well at same stadium.

The guy na Obotte. On an international station TVC. He's talking rubbish.

Instead of using past scenario to paint a picture of why it should be done.

Instead of appealing to emotions internationally by saying Lesotho being neighbours to RSA may have affected their decision not to protest within 24hrs and afterwards.

Instead of saying why rule should be enforced by the umpire, he's talking about protest.

Last year Equatorial Guinea was punished without a protest. Was the rule created this year?

Nonsensical unpatriotic deluded Nigerian.
Once they carry screen and microphone give person e don become analyst. shocked

NFF must pressure FIFA oooo, they cant do us any ojoro ooo at all at all…
Tunisia just qualified to the world cup today, from benefiting off the 6points taken away from Equitorial Guinea for fielding an ineligible player (Emilio Nsue) although not on yellow card ground, but ineligible na ineligible…
Nobody protested anything oooooooooooo and they just landed hammer on that poor nation…

Equitorial Guinea were really in form pursuing Tunisia back to back with their own wins, from no where boom hammer landed on them.
E-Gui 1-0 Namibia(forfeited and 3-0 awarded to Namibia)
Liberia 0-1 E-Gui(forfeited and 3-0 awarded to Liberia)
Imagine a matches they won since november 2023, they remember to deduct them 6points in may 2024, thats a 6month gap oo

somebody should sound this to FIFA OOOOOOO we no go gree oooo

There is no amendment to that aspect. No review.

Neither did he say anything about the rule being reviewed. I watched it then. I watched it now.

Like I said, he didn't discover a breakthrough. Broos himself has appealed to it to which Rohr refuted citing our 2018 experience.

If FIFA wants to set up a bad precedence, they can go ahead.
i pray it works out for us ooo

He didn't discover the cure for cancer. FIFA did not need a protest to deduct from us in 2018
Then FIFA rule is imperfect then…they should have included or mentioned protest clause in that article…cos FA’s will leverage on that to bring up arguement, especially when the eyebrow is being raised indirectly from another opponent(Nigeria) ….remember on that video the analyst said from an amended article of 2023…so its like a reviewed rule ooo…abeg go watch the video🙏

Bro I didn’t watch it but dis is not new …using “24hour” rule wout complaint from the opponent team…dis is not new ,no be now we just Dey hear dt excuse

In our own case, nobody complained,in fact Algeria 🇩🇿 didn’t lodge any complaint…FIFA ACTED INDEPENDENTLY ,and d points were removed . The last statement makes our case even stronger b4 FIFA … so if dt is dere excuse ,den Dey don’t have a point …what’s good for the goose 🪿 is also good for the gander
My point here is they can hold on to that particular “clause-in-protest” to drag the matter to CAS…cos since its also in stated in the rule it should also have effect…
in our own case, a mail was sent to our federation that a player is ineligible to play, but the excuse NFF gave was that, the person incharge of accessing NFF mails was ill…so why did Fifa not notify SAFA of a potential ineligible player?…abi them self forget their job?🤣

Philosopher1979:
The demanding idea is based in the fact that we should go back to the grassroots and pick talented players but football academies are already doing that job. Tolu arokodare, chrisantus uche, Benjamin Frederick, Victor osimhen etc are from the grassroots. We just need to introduce some new players and chelle is already doing that. The disband idea is overstated
this is what prompted my response, calling Osimhen nothing but hype…..
This is not even a disbanding or overhauling issue, our last 3 world cup qualifying game showed that this whole thing is a mentality(from the boys) and administrative(from the FA) thing ……we have good young ballers currently but our starting to this qualifiers was poor mentally and administratively….
How come suddenly we are now able to rack up 7points in 3games….the same sqaud you are saying they should disband abi overhaul will still reach afcon with same winning mentality they will brush teams aside and get to the final….
Do we need addition of fresh young boys? YES!
Do we need to disband the team! NO!

instead start scouting to replace the aging players in the team gradually…
which one be disband!!
Osimhen…hype!!
abeggi!

Nigeria do not have a strong national team. Nigerians are deceived by the hype around their Europe born players who are usually only average or below average

Nigeria has no creative midfielders. They have an average winger — Simon who has a rather poor end product. The stats also prove that Nigeria has a very weak attack force and have no world-class strikers— forget the hype around the drama-king, osimhen.

South Africa will be too strong for this Nigerian team come Tuesday, Mark my words. Even if Nigeria strangely manages to pick all three points because of the uncertainty of football results sometimes, South Africa still will lead the table with superior points and goals.

Nigeria must disband this current set up and start rebuilding for 2030.
so we should disband the team, and also disband the two african football players of the year in the team….and pick your new team from the Nigerian players playing in Barca,ManU,Arsenal,Liverpool,Madrid….or go onto NPFL and pick a formidable super eagles CHAN winning squad….or pick all the u20 boys to go play Afcon in december……

abeg shift!

everytime ppl go dey shout disband…plss has there ever been a time our SE team was wholesomely disbanded?….

walai if we beat SA, i dont mind if we do not qualify for the world cup….thats some fVcking huge statement without Osimhen…
This is the best time for Chelle to Use Chukwueze, im sure Hugo broos must have assessed us by our last match vs rwanda…South Africa is not like our rigid West African/ Central African neighbors (Ghana,Cameroon,Senegal,DRC) that Chukwueze can manipulate with dribbles…
South Africa plays like flexible football especially at defense…when you watch the PSL you will see players in the shape of Chukwueze showboating and mesmerizing defenders…..
Chukwueze vs South Africa is always a joy to watch.

Afcon 2019
-Nig vs SA(Quarterfinals): He score a goal from a one-two off musa-iwobi and he was really messing up Thulani Hlatshwayo in that match.

WCQ 2024
Nig vs SA(home fixture), he was brought in as second half sub…immediately Khuliso Mudau started getting mesmerized by Chukwueze, and he almost got us a winning goal from a one-two pass

na only for Afcon and our home matches we dey beat SA convincingly..we hardly beat them on their home ground..
- in world cup qualifiers 2008 it ended 0-0
- in Afcon qualifiers 2015 it was 0-0
-in friendly match 2015 it was 1-1
-in 2004 mandela challenge they won us 2-1
-in 2019 Afcon qualifiers it was 1-1

However
-in 2013 Mandela challenge we won them 2-0
-in Chan 2014 we beat them 3-1

That is the format that UEFA , CAF and Fifa uses previously. If they adopt that We will qualify to the play offs at least. We landed ourselves into this mess.
And if FIFA punishes SA it will give Lesotho more points and root Zimbabwe to the bottom.
it means we just have Benin to surmount

if they decide to deduct points from all second placed teams, walai 9ja will qualify to the play off at best…lest just win our 3games and gather that 19 points and maybe hope zimbabwe remains at the bottom of the table…cos we just took 2points from them…

you see all those other teams like Gabon,Cameroon,Burkina faso and senegal queuing up in that 4place spot…the rate at which all of them will fall off that table and have Nigeria climbing them will be so brutal🤣🤣🤣🤣…cos they have all taken 6points from their various bottom place teams
