Abeg me I don’t wish for dis one o…make osimhen sign for gala abeg, I don’t want him to miss pre-season,we can’t afford to have a match rusty osimhen ahead of d wcq in sept ,or else we can kiss d qualification goodbye forever

D last time osimhen missed pre-season and played against Rwanda 🇷🇼 in d First Nations cup qualifiers,it showed in his game dt he wasn’t match fit .
the first game osimhen played during that time he missed pre-season was against Benin, as Baba enter in second half he sharp sharp net 1goal world class goal…we beat Benin 3-0, the next gam was the 0-0 against Rwanda away

RIP to a great keeper who was always on our lips before Enyeama came in,both Rufai and Enyeama will always be remembered as Nigeria greats.....hope you remember 4 goals Enyeama conceded against Ghana
Enyeama chop 4 vs Ghana
Rufai chop 4 vs Denmark

Enyeama chop 3 goals vs Messi-led Argentina 2014
Rufai chop 2 goals vs Maradona-led Argentina 1994

oya make everybody rest😀

RIP to the great legend “Keeper Rufai”

Rest in power to a national team legend. Vincent enyeama remains the best goalkeeper of all time. Recall vividly as a chap seeing Peter Rufai conceded cheap goals against Denmark at France 1998 World Cup
no need for the comparison at this point, na only that Denmark game made u define the legendary “Keeper Rufai”….no disrespect to Enyeama but you know how many blunder Enyeama sef concede…no doubt Enyeama is d best but we no need that fact for now na.
just like you wanna go put condolence pen to paper in front of Rufai’s house and you are now writing those stuffs

Well ,I won’t exonerate others from what Charles accuse those 4 ex players(finidi, amunike, siasia and oliseh) of talking down on dis present super eagles players

Aside eguavoen,if u notice ,those 4 have one thing in common,Dey have coached d national team in various capacities, hence Dey re closer to the players and dey get to c some certain things we d fans are not privilege to know.

I think what stand out for eguavoen is his level of maturity and man management.Mikel also confirmed this in one of his interviews dt eguavoen was the best manager he ever worked with in d super eagles because he treats dem with respect and dignity.he went as far as comparing eguavoen style of management with that of carlo ancelotti in terms of man management.

So u can’t tell if other players mentioned too might act like d aforementioned 4 ex coaches if Dey have the opportunity to coach the senior national team or any oda under age team..we can’t also rule
Out d frustration to work with nff. It’s not easy working with such a disorganised body..the frustration and disrespect one will receive might influence deir attitude towards dis players
thats why Eguavoen is still the successful one of all 4 of them that has coached super eagles
Oliseh nonsense record with super eagles
Siasia nyama nyama record with super eagles
Finidi Ekuke record with super eagles
Eguavoen Afcon bronze medal with super eagles

Only Keshi from the 1994 set thrumps eguavoen, and you wont even hear Keshi coming out to defame one player or talk bad about him(highest Keshi will do is to drop you from his squad if he feels you cant fit into his plan)….na players dey even try to rubbish and bring down Keshi sef, you wont hear keshi going on media to draw a first blood on a player

Your own is to always take sides with those that are defaming people whether they are right or wrong. That’s how you took sides against Lookman when his coach racially abused him. Kotinu!

I remember how some of us here even bashed Mikel for being too critical on Nico Jackson after his red card during the ongoing club world cup but lai lai na wetin you wan see you must see
even Mikel criticism of Jackson is normal in football…thats not defamation, it’s purely football critiquing….

what Finidi,Siasia,Oliseh etc is doing is pure defamation or rubbishing once long standing patriotism on the media front….they should come and tell us that a player is not playing well or not good enough, we will argue that one, but them coming with stoopid topics like

-“Osimhen is not patriotic, Osimhen faked injury to avoid super eagles match” bla bla

-“Enyeama is unpatriotic for going to bury his mom and not reporting to camp” bla bla bla

-“Mikel try to bribe me with $50k” bla bla bla,
like this are very unprofessional from them, what sort of nonsense is that

Honestly Siasia no Dey try and to think many here still advocate for his return to the eagles makes it a bigger shame. If baba is frustrated which everyone at one time in life will be why going this low? especially for things that allegedly happened years ago. Yes Mikel may have been arrogant to you in the past but it is meaningless bringing hurts of the past to score cheap points against perceived opponents.

These 94 set of eagles I think are just bunch of arrogant people who think players after them can never match up to them. These bad belle is just too much if it’s not Oliseh today it’s siasia tomorrow or ikpeba another day abeg make dem go siddon one place. Nonsense and ingredients!
Add Finidi join, that one almost pursue Osimhen comot for super eagles

We are going – Nwabali confident Super Eagles will qualify for 2026 FIFA World Cup

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed confidence in Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, despite their current precarious position in the qualifying group.

Nigeria, three-time Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) champions, sit fourth in their World Cup qualifying group, trailing behind key rivals with just four games left to play. Only the group winners will automatically qualify for the global tournament scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Full details: https://nairasports.com.ng/we-are-going-nwabali-confident-super-eagles-will-qualify-for-2026-fifa-world-cup/
hope will be massively boosted if SA are punished for their ineligibility saga…our fourth position will just be like 1match away to be at the top..
with the looming possibility 3points and 3goals deduction

-Assignment 1 will be to;
replicate the same away match energy against Rwanda by beating them in uyo in september while SA beat Lesotho

then next fixture, na to spill blood for j’oburg
SA vs Nig…..if the SA v Nig ends in a draw, i will be hoping for them mumu Benin 🇧🇯 to win their 2home games against Zimbabwe and Lesotho…i prefer Benin topping that table, but those guys dense walai!!

omo osimhen go really wan die for that match oo….that boy na gold ajeh!!
September is 2months away, God keeping is till then

As usual and as expected this is how a south africa plays…i only pity all the small teams in our group..SA will flog them (Lesotho,Zimbabwe and Rwanda) as for the game against Nigeria, no matter their gri gri and Nigeria’s individualistic style of play…SA no fit beat us…las las na draw…let them play tiki-taka ,taka-tiki we don see am well well from them

SA normally has always been a team that holds possession…they started playing this way since the days of late stephen keshi as the coach….then the two teams i respect in Africa with knocking ball all around the pitch like barca is SA and Ethiopia (2014 WCQ)
SA 0-0 Nig (jo’burg AfconQ 2014 dey knocked us wella)
Nig 2-2 SA (Uyo AfconQ2014 dey possessed the ball wella
Nig 0-2 SA(Uyo AfconQ 2017 dey were knocking us and also parking the bus)
SA 1-1 Nig (j’oburg AfconQ2018 scoring them 3clean goals but ruled 2 for offside)
Nig 2-1 SA (Afcon 2019,they were just knocking the ball around)
Nig 1-1 SA (Afcon 2024 they really held on to the ball with one-two short passes)
Nig 1-1 SA (WCQ 2024 same thing)

They will only knock the ball around, if we are lethal upfront we suppose fit beat them abeg, lets c what chelle can do in his own WCQ campaign

With the way they played against Dortmund, do you think it will be easy for Flumenese who haven’t been very clinical?

Btw why do sound like you want Flumenese to knock them out?
Fluminense played out a goalless draw with dortmund and are currently beating Ulsan Fc, i think so because i know south american clubs are not smiling in this tournament Flamengo,Botafogo,Fluminense have been playing good game even more than the european teams….

and yes i want fluminense to knock them out

las las they would be playing same three matches, Fluminense will find a way to knock them out…it will now boil down to who learnt a lesson or picked up a lesson before the september Nigeria vs SA match

Nig 2-1 Gha
Rus 1-1 Nig
Nig 2-2 Jam

SA/Sundown 1- 0 Ulsan Fc
SA/Sundown 3- 4 Dortmund
Fluminense - SA / Sundown

2. South America
3. Africa
4. Asia
5. NorthAmerica

if SA lose to us alone and win their remaining 3games they wil end up on 22pts and qualify automatically while Nigeria will be on 19pts winning all their 4matches…na FIFA go save us like this with that point deduction

If we don’t qualify via top spot ,we would qualify via playoffs
to qualify via playoffs we must amass enough points to be among the second best 4 teams, now we have 7 points and lets say we win all our remaining 4matches we will end up with 19points…and already in the top 4 second best teams table, i can see 6 teams already on 12 to 15points
Gabon 15pts
senegal 12pts
Cameroon 12points
Namibia 12pts
Comoros 12pts
Mozambique 12pts
B/faso 11pts
Tanzania 8pts
Rwanda 9pts

these are teams on second place…the question is will they drop points while Nigeria finishes on second place with 19pts?

Abi. they did not develop those players themselves. They just brought them ready made like that. The only league that produces players that can match up with Europe is South America. Its funny what he is saying. We dont even have to go far. What if our economy was good and our home grown professionals abroad play for enyimba. I mean osimhen, arokodara ebenezer akinsanmiro etc. For all saudi arabian money west africa produces talents for the top 5 leagues of Europe.
As i said before only south american league players can compete with European teams and even defeat them
Top European clubs will struggle big time against these teams; Fluminense🇧🇷,Bocca Junior 🇦🇷,Palmerias🇧🇷Botafogo🇧🇷,Flamengo🇧🇷, River Plate🇦🇷.
