I still fear Benin 🇧🇯 pass South Africa 🇿🇦 for our group ….S/A can be very unpredictable just like us …..but all I knw is we can get a minimum of 16point win if I am employed
im not a rohr advocate ooo, but guys let’s respect that man…he have had it rough and ugly style of play towards the end of his tenure as eagles coach..but the man is really working up his sleeve…make Benin dey follow us drag top spot for both WC and Afcon qualifiers 😁🤓
worst come to worst i will prefer to see Rohr and Benin at the World cup than seeing SA.
Make Rwanda do equalize sha make them play draw…they must all remain below 9ja in this group, wether we play or not

🤣🤣 omo my prayer na make Lesotho hard ooo, i dont care about all this AfconQ, you see the games my eyes are on are:
March 2025 1st leg
Rwa v Nig
SA vs Les
Zim vs Ben

March 2025 2nd leg
Nig v Zim
Ben v SA
Les v Rwa

i jus need lesotho to be hard and stubborn in those two WCQ games in march, because SA fit spell their names oo🤣🤣make them jus help us draw SA and Rwa, but i doubt sha…and make our Super eagles do justice to Rwa and Zim

Nigeria has a terrible govt we all agree but im sure most countries citizen who also suffer terrible govt will never come out and stand against their country or publicly wash their country.
Anyways on the flip positive side, thats more reason we always win e-wars against these countries, cos no amount of insult given to us by them will shake us..we ourselves wash our dirty linen in public…so its a case of them trying to rub themselves in the mud with an already dirty pig

Football ⚽ has moved on and you are stuck in the 1990's.

Wingers are becoming more or less an obsolete terminology in today's football ⚽. We talk of forward players coming from the left or right and it inverted wingers.

Salah, Saka, Diaz, Martinelli, Rashford, Garnacho, Nico Williams, Lamine Yamal are predominantly coming in from the wings 💸 but nobody would call them just wingers.

Indeed these players are the top goal scorer in their clubs
any how u wanna tag it na that one concern you, was it 1990 argentina via marcos rojo sent us away from 2018 world cup group stage…did you watch how they relentlessly pumping crossing from left and right wing into our box18 till that late goal that shattered us….y’all will jus be forming unnecessary wokeness in football….oga take it or leave it, quality teams in this present times still use wing play to break down stubborn defense…go and watch Nig vs Argentina and watch the beautiful marcos rojo goal

even Uganda their group leader almost beat them in their home, it took them late mins goal to equalize uganda 2-2…even against south sudan another wipping boys of the group..na God save them SA, it was heading for a 2-2 draw before they nicked a last goal to make it 2-3

You see that white skin, until some people see it, they won't rest. White man is the god of the black man.

I support foreign coaches only on the ground that our players respect them more and they bring some discipline and objectivity to team selection. Not that they are more tactically brilliant or more competent than our local coaches in terms of football knowledge or coaching abilities.

At least some of us have been around for a while. There is nothing magical any foreign coach has done, that our own coaches have not done.

Westerhof won AFCON, Keshi did it
Westerhof qualified us for WC, Keshi did it, Amodu did it too.
Westerhof took us to second round at a world cup, Keshi did it.
Bonfrere won Olympics, our age grade coaches have serially won several u-17 championships, (in fact, we hold the record of winning more u17s, all with local coaches) we have also won bronze and silver at the Olympics and at U-20s

Rohr won bronze, Eguavoen won bronze (twice).

Abeg the records show that there's nothing magical about white coaches. If we do not have confidence in our coaches, it is not due to lack of competence on the part of our coaches. It is 90% due to the fact that the white man is the god of the Blackman and just as man is comfortable in the presence of his God, that is how many of us will only be comfortable when we see that white skin who is our god standing as the Super Eagles coach
The past 3 afcons was won by local coaches

I think you are confusing a defensive team with a team on low block, a defensive team doesn’t put 10 men behind the ball but a low block does. So this your theory of playing plenty shots may not hold, IMO the best way to break a low block is what we eventually did to succeed, get a pacy dribbler to run at them, they’ll panic and either cause PK or you start getting plenty corners
asin eeehnn this is just ittt🔥🔥…an ultra-defensive team doesn’t need those shot narratives
OGA!! get a pacy winger/dribblers and also a tricky midfielder that can split you in nano seconds with mad passes..its either they hack a player down in box18 or clash on each other for an owngoal…
Those kinda stubborn defense needs;
1.Moses simon energetic+skillful run
2. Chukwueze tricky runs that can create space for banana curve/R-2 kinda goals
3. Ejuke’s foolery on a one on one with defender
These guys has to be consistent and not giving up, cos las las them go chop one or two defenders.
Finally an ever ready striker to pounce on the effort of these wingers

TheGoodJoe:
I wonder where you drew the idea of aimless. Aim is actually key. Watch Lamine Yamal's goal against France in the video below. That is the solution for dealing with low blocks.

When a team plays this way, it forces the wall to break and come out to stop the shots. Thus, creating room for the forwards to exploit.

Tiki taka play is very much key in this. Using the widths to drive the low block deeper, and spreading the wall. Switching play and dropping the ball to the free 8 zone for curling shots.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9I2QLTXrk8U
once again i will still ask, were the opponents of Mancity and spain playing immobile packed defense?.
Omo bros the only time those guys came out when it was 0-0 was when one of their striker had a break-free run and tried to dive for a penalty against us…those guys did not come to play anything in Nigeria…10players inside and around the box 18, you will play shot so tay you sef go tire…Spain Vs France saw two giants facing off with both having this mentality to win thereby playing a balanced game…
There is one thing to play for a draw by defending and still trying to come out on different occasions to counter hoping for a win. That was not the case of Libya…those guys did not come to play anything, other than to just “die” for 5mins and kill time after a finger push by any eagles player and resurrect another mins to pack their defense with 10man contained inside box 18…na thise kind teams barca of old dey use tikitaka and splitting passes to destroy their defense

So when VO played all the games in the LAST AFCON and scored one goal 🥅 it was his ghost playing not VO himself
atleast when he was there at the afcon, his fellow strike partner(Lookman) was doing doing the damage, it wasn’t asif one midfielder abi defender was popping out of no where to come and nick in a goal in the run of play…
But the team played well without him yesterday, just that strikers replacing him are still yet to turn up
