if going by this speculation of 6weeks, its means he’s out of the afcon qualifiers campaign…
6weeks maybe till around mid-November when we will be playing our last matches against Rwa and Ben.
anyways he should just play safe and be fit for March WCQ
we wish him soeedy recovery

I hope Nwakali has saved up enough money from his football stint enough to start a business or fund himself into another career path, cause it seems he's not taking his football career serious anymore. If you are struggling to find your feet in a league 3 club, then it is really BAD.
so sad d guy struggled to aim for top with this football thing, its seem as if no b him calling, even his elder bro sef Chidiebere Nwakali…na wa for that family sha, im sure he must have saved a lot for investment and his after football struggles

Please remind us the last time Chukwueze contributed to a goal or scored for the GWG.
Let's not even go too far, remind us the last time he won a MOTM for the GWG... Is that also too far?
Remind us the last time Chukwueze had a special highlight playing for the GWG.
Even at AC Milan, oga has returned to the bench and night be sold to a lesser team at the end of this season.
Simon brings more attacking threat to the Eagles 🦅
He had an assist in our match and against Benin Republic and he is far better than Chukwueze assisting the team in defending
i swear many ppl no sabi ball at all…chukwueze better and preferred to Simon?
i guess that person did not watch Afcon…the last time i enjoyed chukwueze played for super eagles was on afcon 2019…since then the guy dey play rubbissshhhhh.
Simon on the field has more push and power and creates lot of chances and assists

we just need to be on 100% best…all these our opponents has shown they are whack to some extent..normal normal that south sudan wey SA dey struggle win 3-2, if 9ja on a good day catch dem na to pound them like fufu

That's his strength. Some goalkeeper have this knack for being at the right spot. Carl Ikeme had it. Such gks are hard to beat
Aishi Manula of Tanzania did it against Nigeria away in dar es salam…he was jus catching all our ball like bird in that 0-0 encounter , when he came to uyo Kelechi Iheanacho hang him papa for last angle with a sweet television goal

The same thing I said. We need more looks at them for WCQ. We now know the Rwandan keeper is one to watch for.

Our performance against Rwanda away will give us confidence we can beat the home and away in WCQ and flip our fortunes around.

The way SA has been playing in AFCONQ also has me believing they will drop more points. It was two very very late goals that salvaged a point against Uganda and a win against a poor South Sudan.

We’re in a hard spot for WC but hope dey.
if we can hustle patriotically with our star talents on their red hot forms to win our two matches in march 2025 away Rwanda vs Nig
and in our Home against
Nig vs Zimbabwe we would close up on these 3guys that are on 7points
Rwa 7pts
SA 7 pts
Ben 7 pts
Les 5 pts
Nig 3 pts
Zim 2 pts
cos while we are busy winning our 2matches others are canceling out each other

MD 5(March 2025)
SA vs Les (Likely win for SA)
Zim vs Ben (Likely win or draw for zim)
Rwa vs Nig (Hopefully we can nick a 1-0 win)

MD6(March 2025)
Nig v Zim(Likely win for super eagles 1-0)
Ben v SA (Likely win or draw for Benin)
Rwa v Les (Likely win for Rwanda)

By the end of this 2match days…the group leader maybe leading us with 2points
Then we will have September(MD 7 & MD 8 to play our heart out…..our boys just need to play to their topmost level all these teams no reach, na we dey jonz
September is the best time to overtake, cos we will be playing
Nig v Rwa (Likely win for eagles)
SA vs Nig (sure banker draw match)

What Mikel said about Eguavoen

I know the interim manager now, Augustine Eguavoen who managed me when I was a kid. U17, he was my coach, took us to the World Cup.

"Fantastic guy, lovely guy, a manager who gives you all the freedom in the world to express yourself, speaks to you really well.

"He reminds me so much of Carlo Ancelotti, no jokes about that, his man management is top. He speaks to players really well. He is so humble. He communicates with players really well, puts his arm around you.

"He gets his players on his side, that's so important. You could see coming in short notice and getting the team to play so well. You can't teach them so much is such a short space of time.

"It's about the communication, it's about the man management of making the players so relaxed so they can perform and that's what I saw when I watched the game because the team performed really well, the first game, and also the second game. Of course we didn't win it but there was so much positivity.

"The team played really well yesterday and I thought we could have won the game."
i think he also gave Mikel his first senior team call up in 2005 and scored his first afcon goal against Zimbabwe in the group stage under AE

you did not see keshi. Keeping skipping
Keshi was employed fully
He started AfconQ campaign from 2012 and ended and led the team to Afcon 2013 and started his WCQ campaign from beginning to the end and led the team to R-16 of the WC, He was allowed to continue till we lost Afcon ticket in 2015

Besides Amodu I can't remember anyone else
Amodu was employed in 2001 and was relieved in 2002 meaning he oversaw the team’s qualification to world cup and Afcon from beginning to the end
also the 2010 WCQ and AfconQ he started and ended both campaigns…not as if he was drafted to lead the team and perfom magic for two remaining matches just like how they use to do eguavoen
in 2006 WCQ and 2022 WCQ

is it Amodu?
Is it keshi?
Is it Gernot Rohr?

Is it Westerhorf

Pls the call for AE to take the Job permanent should stop ooo

For all his years as a TA, what was his achievement, also almost all qualifys he had took charge of as a Coach, he hadn't qualify us for any ( someone prove me wrong )

I stand to be corrected
“almost all qualifier”, the question is which one did he start from beginning to the end

This our group is one of the most competitive ooh... Walai
SA is likely to beat Lesotho at home, taking them to 10pts, thats where it becomes tough for Nigeria away to Rwanda again(omo that game is a must win oo, to close in on SA and Rwa)

Lol World Cup ke
We can’t beat Rwanda
What makes you confident we’d do that next time in World Cup qualifiers
You know our position on the log ?
South Africa, Rwanda & Benin are ahead of us
That pitch appeared patchy & bad
Rwa 7pts
SA 7pts
Ben 7pts
Les 5pts
Nig 3pts
Zim 2pts
Next games in march (match day 5)
SA vs Les
Rwa vs Nig
Zim vs Ben
(Match day 6)
Ben vs SA
Nig vs Zim
Rwa vs Les
results in this march double fixtures will surely reduce the gap between super eagles and teams at the top, they will surely cancel themselves out or hold themselves to a draw…

Nigerians. Their cry is always gimme gimme gimme. No patience, no faith.

Walahi if I were the one in charge, Eguavoen would have continued after failing to qualify us for the WC. Yes. Success is a process that involves failure. We want to succeed, we don't want to fail. But you cannot succeed, without failing.

Jpes was losing matches, drawing matches. We allow am. He took us to AFCON finals. If it's our own, two match with bad results, they start crying sack sack sack.
sometimes when dey remember the amount them take hire wan werey carpenter from europe, to sack go dey hard them even if the carpenter dey lose matches back to back

Moses simon one on one

Calm down bro, ball ain't toy. Toying around with balls means nothing. How many attempt on targets they got?! Tactically we were superior, the game plan was ok.
exactly what i wanted to counter with…Nwabali was more on holiday today than against Benin….those guys will jus reach our half and play nonsense….we were so unlucky not to have scored…with the way we played them, their return leg in Nigeria both WCQ and AfconQ will send some shivers to them
East/Central African nations are stubborn with draw
Uganda
Rwanda
Burundi
Tanzania
its not easy beating them in their home ground…you cam only outplay them but so so hard to score them plus they usually produce great shot stoppers
Aishi Manula(Tanzania)
Denis Onyango (Uganda)
Robert Kidiaba (DRC)
and now Ntwari(Rwanda)
