Truthisunique2: win is win
Atiku is the only candidate that is guaranteed 40% in every region
He no get home and away, everywhere na him home
That is what wins presidency in an election of three majority tribes, better average You can't support Obi & still hold this kind of view, if you don't have strong convictions in what you believe in, then why hold any believe Your position is akin to a man who claims to be married, but fancied ladies of easy virtue in brotels. Learn to take a stand & be resolute in your decisions & don't be like a dry leaf that is being toast around by the slightest wind. If Atiku is your preferred choice of a leader go for him that is all. Whether Obi will win this or win that is rather premature, you seems to be intimidated by the crowd that came out to welcome Atiku in Gombe, & who said, you shouldn't be. We of the Obi's genuine supporters have taken a firmed decision, that whether is gonna win or not, is immaterial, we must stand on our resolve to the end. |

Politics › Re: Igboho Gives Fulani Terrorist Quit Notice To Leave Yoruba Land, Insist On Oduduw by Minime10(m): 10:30am On Aug 11, 2022 |
Cyynthia: Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has issued a warning to Fulani terrorists in the six South-West states of Nigeria to leave before it is too late.
Mr Igboho issued the fresh notice in a statement issued on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Oluyomi Koiki, titled 'You Cannot Take Over Yoruba Land Just As The Northern Part Of Nigeria Has Been Taken Over By Fulani Terrorists.'
He alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari has done nothing to stop killings by Fulani herdsmen.
Igboho said the activities of Fulani militias lately have made Yoruba people to regret being hospitable and generous.
He asserted that Yoruba people would break away from Nigeria and reclaim their sovereignty as they were before the British colonialism, stressing that it is their God-given right.
According to him, there is no going back on their quest for the self-determination of Yoruba Nation.
The statement reads in part; "I, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho. I am a Yoruba Nation self determination activist. And Yoruba Nation must stand. No going back.
"President Muhammadu Buhari said yesterday that we Yoruba people are friends with the Hausa people. This is true, we are friends with Hausa; Igbo; Kanuri and all other ethnic groups.
"But we retain and maintain our Indegenous nationality that we were created by Almighty God. We have "Omoluabi" in our nature.
"This is why we have shown great hospitality to anyone that comes as a stranger to our Yoruba Land.
"The activities of the Fulani (Both Nigerian Fulani and most especially the foreign Fulani according to Federal Government of Nigeria) lately, had made us wanting to regret both our hospitality and generousity.
"The British that amalgamated Northern and Southern Nigeria together, knew we are not the same.
"We Yoruba are not fools, we know that Nigerian resources come mostly from Southern Nigeria. Yet the Southern Nigeria that are used and still being used to develop the Northern Nigeria are now being extended to their brothers in Niger Republic. Yet, the foreign terrorists from Niger Republic and the environs are sorrounding our forests, kidnapping; killing and wreaking havoc on Yoruba People.
"We know what the Fulani did to you Hausas.
"All the Emirs in the North are Fulani and all the Governors are Fulani as well. We know vividly how they systematically subdued and conquered the Hausas in their land. But let them know now, we are Yoruba. "Ije ti a je tete enikan o gbodo je dagunro", no it is impossible and Fulani would soon realise that.
"This is why Yoruba Nation is no going back.
"We know we were not the same in regards to culture; history; beliefs and values and even our georgraphy. So must we rule over one another. Let everyone manage their own territory as created by God. Not the British creation Called Nigeria.
"The killings; maimings; loss of income and damage to Yoruba people's landed properties. Enough is Enough. We know these killings are nothing to the Fulani but it means a lot to we Yoruba people. And that is why President Muhammadu Buhari had kept quiet on the Fulani killings. The President has done absolutely nothing to stop these killings.
"We know President Muhammadu Buhari is the Patron of all the Fulani worldwide. But Yoruba Land can never be conquered by Fulani.
"President Muhammadu Buhari was reminding Nnamdi Kanu and the Igbos of the massacre they carried out during the Biafra War. The President should know that this can never be repeated again in any of our Land.
"We have all woken up to Fulani Agenda.
"The Middle Belt people are also being killed. Everyone knows who is behind all these atrocities and President Muhammadu Buhari is their Life Patron.
"So, we Yoruba are pulling out and reclaiming our Sovereignty as we were before the British Colonialism.
"It is our God given right. And there is no going back on our quest for Yoruba Nation self determination."
"I want to issue warning to all the terrorist Fulani (Home and foreign Fulani) in Yoruba forests to leave now before it is too late.
"When the 'Alale Yoruba' fully begins, most of you would not live to tell the story," the statement added.

With Wike, Asiwaju can be sure of at least 25% of the votes which is a great feat considering the fact that both Obi & Atiku will dilute each other votes. If you fail to secure bloc vote from Rivers, where else will Atiku get the numbers in the South?
The only thing that can give Atiku a lifeline in this election is if Peter Obi withdraw for him coz for every one vote Peter Obi gets, it is -1 for PDP and +1 for APC.

Politics › Re: 2023: Obi's Popularity Among Youths Worries Atiku, Tinubu’s Camps by Minime10(m): 7:52am On Aug 08, 2022 |
bennybuhari: By Temidayo Akinsuyi
Indications emerged on Sunday that the camps of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and that of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), are jittery over the rising popularity of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), among the youths.
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the three major political parties, APC, PDP, and LP, are currently strategising to lure youths, who constitute the larger percentage of the voting population into their fold.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which just concluded its Continuous Voter’s Registration (CVR) exercise across the country in its latest report disclosed that about 71% percent of the 12.2 million newly registered voters are youths.
According to the statistics released by the electoral umpire, about 8.7 million are between the ages of 18 and 34 while about 2.4 million are between the ages 35 and 49.
Those between ages 50 and 69 are about 856, 017 while about 127, 541 are over 70.
Since the return of democracy in 1999, the presidential election has always been a twohorse race between the APC and PDP.
However, it appears it will be a different scenario in the 2023 presidential election with the entrance of Peter Obi who is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, had already purchased the PDP presidential form but withdrew from the race few days to the primary to join the Labour Party.
Since then, support for him has grown tremendously with many youths pledging to work for his victory in next year’s presidential election.
Daily Independent gathered that the three parties in their bid to win the 2023 presidential election are currently working assiduously to curry the support of youths and also engage in youth-centric campaigns when INEC lifts the ban on political campaigns by September ending.
A credible source in the Labour Party said former President Olusegun Obasanjo who in recent times has raised the alarm over myriads of unresolved problems under the APC-led administration is working round the clock to amass support for the party and Obi in the 2023 elections.
Speaking with Daily Independent, Festus Asiriuwa, a chieftain of the PDP, said while many youths have shown interest in the 2023 presidential election, it cannot be said that all of them joined because of Obi or will vote for Labour Party in the election.
“Yes, I saw the INEC statistics about 71 percent of newly registered voters being youths but the truth is that are all these youths supporters of Obi? While it is true that Obi has resurrected Labour Party from the dead and he will divide the votes in 2023, it is wrong to say all the youths who recently registered are for him.
“Do you know the number of youths also clamouring for Atiku and Tinubu? So, let’s just wait and see but I can tell you, this will be the most interesting election we have ever seen”.
Bashiru Apapa, Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party, said the party will win the 2023 presidential election given Obi’s growing popularity, especially among the youths. Speaking during a sensitisation for Labour Party members in Ekiti State, Apapa said, “There are some people who you may not believe are coming up to support Obi; some leaders up to heads of state are in support of Obi.
Many governors, more than five of them, are supporting the party underneath. We don’t want to mention their names for now.
“It is because of the way Obi performed before. Again, not all of them believe that Nigeria should continue the way it is going now.
They want change, better and positive change for that matter, not like the other change we experienced in the past.”
On its part, the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA’ 23) on Sunday said despite the rise of the Labour Party, the 2023 presidential election is a two-horse race between Atiku and Tinubu.
Otunba Bosun Oladele, National Secretary of SWAGA, said most supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, are only making noise on social media and making movements without motion.
According to him, the recently concluded Osun governorship election and the primaries held across the country few weeks ago have proven that social media noise does not translate to votes during elections.
https://independent.ng/2023-obis-rising-popularity-among-youths-worries-atiku-tinubus-camps/ Why should the PDP & APC be worried about Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed who are only on social media & tweeter Why is the PDP & APC not worried about Kwankwaso who has the supports of the entire North in his kitty What makes a structureless Obi their greatest nightmare What happen to the Dubai's man structure & the structure of the Bobo Chi**** |
