Na wa. Social media clout. He should not make this look like a personal attack.
That Ughelli route has been invaded by herdsmen. It takes the grace of God to drive from Ibusa to Ozoro without encountering those herdsmen who now prefer kidnapping to stealing.
I'm not saying that stealing is better but kidnapping is worse because they'd steal from you and steal you too. What do you means it's not personal? It's now personal to him because it happened to him! |

Canvass: Curfew was for 9 but the army arrived at 7:45. A whole lot can be done in 1 hour and 15 minutes. To avoid this kind of troubles, the army should have waited until the appointed 9. Plus the sanctions won't affect common masses that can hardly feed theselves talkless travel abroad. Those guys said sanctions for government officials found culpable.
However, that does not mean I agree with U.K or any country meddling with our internal affairs. Can we sanction them for whatever happens in their own country? Condemning government actions is the most I expect from any country. This is how we invite them in and make them our overlords only to start complaining later. As long as our leaders continue to be dictators that can't adhere to simple tenet of Democracy, the West will continue to meddle in our affair. It's for the good of the masses. |

How do you think? What do they want to ask the FG? The facts are with the protesters that night. Mind you, Channels Tv was there that night. They posted the video while interviewing protesters and getting their account on youtube but they've deleted the video for obvious reasons. CNN knows where and how to get the undiluted facts. Why go to a corrupt FG? |

Olatara: Dear Minjim, they sold NEPA and NITEL to themselves (politicians). When I say privatize the refineries, I mean to real people not to one Alhaji in the North. So you think politicians will sell to Shell or Chevron? In a developing country, essential commodities such as water, power and fuel shouldn't be left solely in the hands of profiteers. Algeria and Saudi Arabia manages their refineries effectively- they didn't say private shouldn't own. What the government should simply tell us is that they are incompetent and lacked foresight. A private company can be licenced to build refineries but there should be an healthy competition for there to be sanity in the system. Two companies are currently building refineries in Edo and Imo. |

Olatara: The first born should sell his four faulty cars and use the money to buy a new one or he sell three of his faulty cars and repairs the last one. I government should think of privatizing the refineries. Atiku was right on this, we just misunderstood him. Where as the privatisation of NITEL and NEPA gotten us? Those politicians shouting privatise just want to buy it and cheap rate like they bought NEPA. Now, look at NEPA 8 years after it, we are still paying estimated bills. |

blacknp: My guy you are the problem, you want to have your cake , & eat it too, they want to privitize the refineries you say no government must continue to pay subsidy?, Labor must go on strike, Endsars Protesters we no gree price of pms is 170 Naira? tomorrow you will blame Hausa Fulani for yourselfish ignorance, have you asked why? how many countries in the world does the government run refineries? If not rogue nations like baghdad, tehran, Riyadh, Caracas So Algeria and Saudi Arabia are rogue countries. There are many developing countries running their own refineries effectively. What the FG ought to say is that it is incompetent to run refineries. Where did privatization of NITEL and NEPA get us ? |
