Apart from Osun where he won, Ribadu did not even secure up to 10% of the votes in his own state, Adamawa.
Your votes can be wasted again come 2019. In ur insolent mind u assumed any Apc supporters will vote a Easterner over a Westerner? Dream on then |

What happened in 2007?
See, the presidency is only for those devoidof emotion and sentiments. The North and South West have mastered the act of Nigerian politics. Tinubu will not be the president then, there are many other unblenished Westerners
Sadly, 2023 is too late for the Southeast to achieve now cos the SW had already earned it. Maybe 2031 ...who knows? Only when they learn the game |

Maxymilliano: I admire Saraki's comportment in this trying times ... His responses so far is laced with sophistication , devoid of gutter language ... But with a conspicious mixture of deciets and fetitious propagandas that only appeal to the gullible imagination of an Ipobian native. No serious minded person will take a politician serious especially a pdp desperate one. All what Saraki and Tambuwal claimed are public knowledge and it doesn't change anything |

Hedonini: SP has a solid strategic and media crafts team. Far more competent than the nincompoops who call themselves Buhari's presidential spokesmen, advisors, and the kindergarten autistic rats widely known as BMC who irritate the hell out of sensible people all over social media (including here on Nairaland).
The image being crafted for Saraki is supremely wonderful to behold. Many kudos to his team. And as a master schemer himself, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up becoming president.
I just desperately hope that he will be the kind of reform minded leader that Nigeria needs now. The senile and close-minded bastard called Buhari isn't even an option. That was very hilarious |

fawaz22: this are just to weak point to justify your action...but why did government permit the building in the first place, since it's against land planning law.you should have waited for court verdict to be justified. The construction started when Alao Akala was governor. Ayefele is close to Akala. Só they must ave given him all the conccessions then. However, he just kept rebuilding. So whatever the plan approved b4 had been deviated from. |

This same thing happened in my former place of work way back in 2010. Two drivers and a cleaner were trying to stand a pole like this on a rainy day. Unfortunately, as they lifted the pole, it rested on a high tension cable, just like this. The voltage flung them away but the pole rested on the arm of one of them while the other man's touch the first man with current flowing through them. The woman was fortunate, as she was flung into a distance. After using a wooden stick to shift the pole off the cable. We were able to revive the one of the men but lost the one that had direct contact with the pole. Lack of quick medical attention and first aid knowledge possibly caused his death because the man that had direct contact with the pole.

We still have a very long road to walk in this country. A townplanning agency hás the duty to take action without interferance from the governor.
If the governor actually influenced their action, then we are not really ready for any true development. If politicians can just use govt agencies to intimidate their enemies, what hope do the masses have? |

SirVintageCock: THEY may have CALLED YOUR TRIBE THAT BUT THIS GUY IS calling for complete annihilation and extermination of Igbos. Not the same at all. Yoruba's and Igbos has been calling each other unpleasant names for aeons.....recently it took a different dimension from the Yoruba side....the oba lagoon statement, the Nigerian-USA doctor statement and then this.... In all this bickerings, Igbos are yet to call for annihilation of Yorubas and never will because life is sacred to us. Lets remember that It is only a tree that will continue to stand when it hears that it will be killed.
If you can't bear the heat of the name callings then stop as it is not and will never be an excuse for this untoward statements we are witnessing presently. The guy merely aired his personal opinion. It doesn't represent, whether imaginary or in reality, the Yorubas view. He is jst a toothless bulldog |
