But as they were resting at Rephidim, the Amalekites suddenly struck - unprovoked, determined to destroy Israel.

And the same-thing happened, many nations that heard about Israel's fame attacked them whenever they heard they were passing by their lands. On all occasions, the Israelites asked:

So Moses made an oath and pleaded with the King of Edom but the King refused and they had to turn back.

I can narrate all these wars for you to understand. When you defend yourself - it is not violence. Just the same way in Islam, there is Jihad against those that wants to harm you and attack you - DEFENSIVE JIHAD.

Our problem is we assumed God reasons as we Human or the kingdom of God is bureacratically organised as we Man does (I once argued with a dude who likened Court of God to Court of Man)

while it only takes the best and most knowlegeable among us to decode/decipher God's scriptures.........Nowadays everyone is a preacher/condemners without knowing what they preach nor condemn.......!!!

Muhammad is said to have stated that whoever called upon GOD by that exalted 100th name would recieve all his desires.
It was LOVE that brought Jesus from HEAVEN to the CROSS taking God's judgement on sin, so that ALL who call upon His Name recieves His forgiveness and go free.
THE CRESCENT MOON
Why is the significant of the Crescent so prominent on all mosques and national flags? It is the symbol of the MOON GOD going back thousands of years.
ALLAH was the MOON GOD, the presiding deity amongst the gods that were worshipped in Arabia and in the East. How long this worship of the MOON GOD goes back we dont know, but HIS symbol, the CRESCENT MOON, was worn by the descendants of ISHMAEL, well over 3000 years ago.

These Ishmaelites were wealthy merchants, (verse 24) and slave traders as we see in Genesis 37:23-28 where they bought Joseph from his brothers and sold him to Egypt.
The FAST OF RAMADAN, the ninth month, in which Muslims are forbidden to eat or drink anything between Sunrise and Sunset, is closely associated with the MOON. It starts with the Crescent of the New Moon, and ends wit h the final Crescent at the end of the month.

What Allah decides is their only hope for eternity, so that Muslim has no choice and no assurance of whether he will be in heaven or hell till, as a Muslim explained to me, Allah puts his good deeds and bad deeds in his scales after death, and on the basis of which is the heavier his destination is determined.
It seems that the believe tha Muhammad didnt have any peace because every time a Muslim mentions his name he adds ''peace be upon him''.
In this they express their concern that he has not entered into peace.
We never pray for peace on Jesus because He is THE PRINCE OF PEACE and the giver of perfect peace to thise who wholly trust in Him an their Savior and Lord, so that there is no need to pray for peace for those who die trusting in Jesus

The Bible is so complete,it shows us pre-Jesus era,gave us what we shld be expecting during the time when Jesus our saviour will come-nothing that will happen in the NT to Jesus that did not happen as a shadow in the OT.
The Bible is a miracle,written by over 30 ppl inspired by God in different locations,over a period spanning more than 2000years,yet their is consistenc in their work despite the fact that they did not collaborate-such a miracle.
For instance,one difference between the Bible n the quran is the story of ishmael and Isaac.
Moh copied and change d name to ismael,the father of Arabs,but the Bible said it was Isaac(even the NT confirmed that);it was in the NT that we knew it dt it was nt just a story as moh mistook it to be(bcus it has a meaning,GOD knows what he was doing); just like Isaac was sacrificed by Abraham,that was how God will sacrifice his own son; Jesus-just like isaac carried his own cross(wood) up the mount moriah,that is how Jesus will carry His own cross(wood) up a mount(calvary). The bible is so consistent,not a story book of moral or (recitation for terrorists)-it is the life of Jesus-from the OT to the NT(the salvation which God has provided for the whole world).
Same thing goes for cain and abel too.

They say he did not die on the cross, but without His atoning death and resurrecction from the dead, Christianity in only another religion with a set of rituals. Muslims believe in His vergin Birth , and in His Second Coming. It seems that Muhammad picked up much of the rituals of the type of Christianity around him, such as prayer beeds, specific times daily for ritual prayer, abstinence from certain meats at certain times, month of fasting from special foods, pilgrimages to shrines, Holy water from Mecca, etc. They also believe in the story of the assumption of Mary as well as the assumption of Fatima, Muhammad's daughter.
It can be very misleading for anyone who does not know the basis on which Christianity is founded.
The connection with Abraham is an area of common appeal, so this does need to be carefully considered . it is obvious in Islamic doctrine and practice that mohammad was well acquainted with the Jewish LAWS AND CUSTOM as practice by the jews amongst whom he lived.
MEAT LAWS, for example, slaying the animal, forbiding meats, fasting , hand washing, etc.
People generally, are influenced by the customs of the society in which they live, and in his search for truth, muhammad obviously was influenced by all these things.
