Where this exist, the national working committe of the party will utilize the dispute resolution mechanism of the part to fashion out the way forward. It stands against reason that a judge will pronounce someone guilty without trial and that's exactly what the FCT High Court judge did; pronounce APC chairman guilty before trial by issuing an order for him to vacate his office.

These kinds of reckless decisions by courts are capable of destabilising the peace and unity of this country and can potentially lead to new raids on judges to fish out those who have returned to the ways of collecting pounds and dollars to sell judgement.

It's time the the CJN calls his judges to order.

The Bayelsa judgement was without ambiguity...Lyon and his deputy ran on a JOINT ticket and hence got disqualified JOINTLY for the latter's certificate forgery.

As for the fine imposed on Wole and Babalola, that was for filing for a review which was deemed frivolous, as they could not point to any clerical error committed by the SC in that judgement.

The case of IMO was a complete mis-carriage of justice, as evident in the multiple errors made besides other bizarre pronouncements that have no basis in our laws.
