Want to show fellow Nairanlanders how to shop in America and have it delivered to your doorstep BY YOURSELF without going through any company or Agents. Two major challenges encountered by Nigerians trying to buy goods from the US is #1 Not having a Debit card accepted internationally and #2 Not having a US address since most Merchants dont like shipping directly to Nigeria. HOW TO GET AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTED DEBIT CARD. For those of you who already have Payoneer mastercard, there is no need applying for another. But if you dont already have, follow STRICTLY the steps below to get one. Step 1, click on this link and click on apply to initiate the process of getting getting your card. http://share.payoneer-affiliates.com/a/clk/107FPq NB: - you will need either international passport or driving licence or national ID card to apply so keep it handy. - use ur laptop or computer to click on the link as it may not open on your BB or Android browser. - make sure you provide valid info about yourself and while writing your address use this format: Ur name The adress State Country. For instance if you are using your office address and the adress is Sync computers No 28 alao street Egbeda Lagos Nigeria Just remove the name of your working place and put your name instead and write it this way: John Owusu, No 28 alao street Egbeda Lagos Nigeria. Observe this strictly or it will be rejected! Dont use C/o also. When your done with the application, you will be notified and your card will be sent in a month FREE OF CHARGE. Pls if you dont need this card, dont abuse it by applying since its free of charge. HOW TO GET A US ADDRESS. Visit http://www.myus.com/en/landing?aid=1003353 and click join. Select the standard option and it costs only one time standard payment of $10. They accept GTbank naira mastercard and once you link it to your account, the naira equivalent of the $10 will be deducted from there at the current exchange rate at the time of transaction. If you dont want to link your GT mastercard, you can wait for your payonner card to arrive, load it and you can now use it for myus. I strongly recommend this option. When you are done, a US adress will be given to you. Finally, when you have all these and you want to shop for instance at Amazon, all you need do is to load your payoneer card from your GTb account, use it to pay for whatever you want, and when the column for you to enter your address comes up, enter the address given to you by MYus and when they recieve your goods, they will notify you via email and you then give them the nigeria adress to ship your stuff. They are reliable, have wonderful customer care and relationship, accredited in America and quite fast. They use DHL and i have recieved a laptop i once orderd within working days! I will be pleased to answer any question as much as i can because This is a free info i'm not beign paid for |
@Laalamed, if the do that in this poverty stricken country, how many people do you think will be able to afford healthcare? |
In what may appear as a clash of interest in the health sector, a body called the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) Thursday directed health workers in federal hospitals to commence an indefinite strike throughout Nigeria, while medical doctors under the umbrella of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), who are opposed to the action, have been enjoined to ensure that the delivery of health services in hospitals are not interrupted. JOHESU said the industrial action would commence only at federal hospitals from 21st August, 2013, adding that other hospitals at state and local governments shall join on 28th August, 2013 if its demands were not met by then. The health workers, also regarded as hospital assistants had demanded among others, the non-skipping of Salary Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) 10, implementation of National Health Bill, Consultancy and Specialist Allowances and Call/Shift Duty and other professional allowances. Their demands, however, perceived as unjustifiable by the doctors have drawn the battle line between the two unions as the doctors are of the opinion that both bodies should work in tandem to provide health services for the public. In a statement by JOHESU, directing all its members to embark on indefinite strike, the body which reiterated its call for the removal of Health Minister, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, said the inconveniences resulting from their strike should be blamed on the minister for failing to implement the agreements the Nigerian government reached with the health workers. “While we sincerely apologize the inconveniences this action may cause Nigerians, the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, should be held responsible," the union said. However, sources in the NMA alleged that the health workers were simply asking to be at par with the doctors in every ramification, especially remuneration. Commenting on the issue Thursday, President of NMA, Dr. Osahon Enabulele, told SaharaReporters that the health workers were being unrealistic with most of their demands. “Already, they went to court and the court granted some of their requests but they are not talking about those ones. They simply harp on the ones that were turned down and they want to embark on strike”, Enabulele said. He clarified that CONHESS 10 skipping meant that they were already granted privilege of ‘skipping’ grades in the work level which makes the workers also to demand other benefits associated with it. In a statement by the NMA president Thursday, he said the NMA has no trouble with the workers demanding what they believe was due to them, but that the delivery of health services should not be denied the public as a result of the action. “While we have nothing against the right of people to determine how best to actualize their demands, we shall however not tolerate any attempt to obstruct medical and dental practitioners in the course of rendering their official duties. “In line with the foregoing, the Nigerian Medical Association wishes to use this medium to direct all doctors nation-wide to remain at their duty posts and to work relentlessly to render uninterrupted services, particularly for emergencyv cases, in all public hospitals," the statement said. Another union in the health sector, National Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAHP), had on Monday embarked on an indefinite strike at the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria leading to the non-availability of health services to patients. NUAHP had indicated that it would suspend its strike on Thursday, 22nd August, 2013 but JOHESU, which still comprises the health workers, would be on strike. Some of NUAHP’s demands are the abolition of appointment of only full time staff of universities as chief executives of teaching hospitals and Federal Medical Centres; abolition of offices of Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee; the release of the interview conducted for members of the union to the posts of directors; stoppage of imposition of medical practitioners as heads of department over other professionals and the immediate removal of the Minister of Health. The NMA has criticized the demands as a ploy of wanting to be at par with professional doctors. Sources in the NMA said the doctors suspected that the health workers were planning to hinder health service delivery from Thursday by locking down hospitals and laboratories so that the doctors would not have access to work. “We also call on all Chief Medical Directors/Medical Directors to ensure sustained provision of clinical/healthcare services to Nigerians in all public hospitals, by providing adequate security, and ensuring access to hospital materials, equipment and other healthcare facilities in the hospitals. “We strongly urge them to remain committed to their God-given responsibility of offering quality healthcare services to the toiling and long deprived people of Nigeria, in all public hospitals," NMA said. mobile.saharareporters.com/news-page/doctors-health-workers-loggerheads-over-strike |

Nawa oh, all these boys that pack ogogoro bottles in Aso rock have even infiltrated Nairaland! Since the secret Isreali contract to spy on Nigerians no work, Na thier plan B be this? Shaking my head!!! |
Thanks to @ Shidemidemi for bringing clarity and enlightenment into this issue. I have used same analogy to make a friend who worship with the posters Username church see reason that these gifts with respect to speaking in tongues was for a reason and no longer the main crux of the matter now. Thanks to the Spirit for always beign there to help us with discernments! |
joe4christ: What is the argument all about self?Mine is that, if we have these powers, then why are there still cripples in our midst? Jesus healed as much that came his way and the gifts of the holy spirit is meant for the benefit of all so wetin dey happn ![]() |

What i hate most is seeing all ds old folks that started reading news before i was born like Cyril Stober, etc on screen every 9pm. For dencency sake, those guys should be doing more of directing and producing and leave the news part for the young and upcoming brodcasters! |
ebankole: HERE COMES ANOTHER WILD AND WEILD DOG ON THE LOOSE.@Ebankole, Its not ANOTHER wild dog, it is the same old wild dog known as SAIBUHARI |
Laalamed: i do not understand u.If you are asking how can doctors strike cos of kidnapping then maybe you are new in this country. This is not the first or second time its happening! Last year in Enugu, they did the same thing cos a member was kidnapped. My point is, nobody is immune to kidnapping in this country. Remember even a ministers mother was kidnapped and she didnt go on strike... But surely doctors get away with grave issues like these but when other health professionals that rarely go on strike embark on one for a genuine reason, then its cos they are looking for cheap recognition or some vague reasons. What an odd world! |
Laalamed: I think govt should pass laws that would prevent hospital workers from going on strike expect on issue of non-payment of salary. All other issues should be resolved at industrial courts.Lol, if they make a law like that, dont you think docs will suffer it most? Currently they are on strike in Ebonyi State over thier member that was kidnapped. Yeah the strike will make polictians who are equally beign kidnapped everyday to come to thier rescue or the strike will compel the Nigerian police who are not immune to the onslaught to provide them with security details before they can work! Is this kind of reasoning not a key clinical sign of Dementia ![]() |
Laalamed: Physician as Hospital ChiefHey at least you said something that made sense here that in developed countries, non physicians head the health sector and thier health sector is the best! Compare it with Nigeria that its health sector has been held hostage by doctors. The consequence is that in terms of healthcare services, we are ranked 192 out of 198 countries by the World Health Organization. Dont blame it on poor funding like the current minister keep using as an excuse, it is just a case of a square peg in a round hole! |
ngozievergreen: rediagnose myself because of nurses? MtchewI know you did psychology in medical school and ought to understand these things. By mere reading your post, it gave me a peek view on the type of person you are.... See lady i work in a hospital and even though i know there are difficult people to work with(nurses included) Fact remains that people treat you to some an extent the way you present yourself. I dont mean to insult you but should know what im saying its true. If you "show" a gateman that you are a "doctor" well God bless your soul anyday you come to work late and try to manouvre your way to excape Servicom! He will definitly show you how important the gate man work is! |
@Ziga, thanks for beign sincere in replying my post, even to the extent of acknowledging that in developed countries (which Nigeria is not among) a drugist could be consulted before a prescription is made! Inorder words, a drugist is very indispensible. personally i dont have a problm wit a doc beign the head of the health team or even capable ones beign the health minister but i have a problm when they use those offices to intimidate other or make them seem irrelevant. But that has been the case and that is why some roles need to be shared! |
ngozievergreen: I have listened to all the nonsense those in health sciences talked when i was in med sch and d only thing i can think of is Inferiority complex!Dr lady, Say anything you want, talk is cheap. Im not a nurse but i know those folks do respect Doctors who respect themselves and treat them as humans and as professionals. If you had 8 nurses to do a duty for you and all of them backed out then you need to rediagnose yourself. Ladies are worst hit in this aspect cos they hate themselves! |
Im enjoying this thread. Its filled with intelligent people, the ignoramus, the arrogant etc. I just want say something about a post by @Ziga that claims that doctors know more than druggist! I see that as a lie from the pit of hell! A druggist researches on an ailment, mixes chemicals to produce a drug, tests the drug on laboratory animals and humans and based on his findings, he formulates the right dosage the drug can be used to achieve maximum result, the doctor uses it and the credit goes to him! Yeah i dont have a problem with doctors getting the credit but im just wondering how arrogance can blurr some folks vision not to see that a difference exist here. Im not a druggist though! |

Your probably a doctor and your arrogance and myopic views are nuff reasons why a seasoned hospital management administrator should head the health sector so that blank heads like you can concentrate and understand what the health sector is all about. You are dicing the nurses here as is they are bunch of morons just because some of them spent just two years in school, but what of you doctors that spent six years in school and "know all aspect of the health sector" and yet some of you dont know what "PCV" or "essence of blood culture" etc all about so are you in anyway immune to the moronic syndrome! Fact is, nobody cares who heads the health sector as long as things go on normal, but when some sect are abusing the priviledge and using it to intimidate others, then some better managers have to take over! |
arena07: @mintyx Like i said earlier ur dull brain find it difficult to comprehend my post,i said i registered through a close friend of mine who i trusted he even registered me on proxy cos i am too busy to go through d details of d said scheme.until d day i visited there office dat was when i realised dis hungry ppl are up to something.u said y did i registered if i'm rich?hmmmmmmm no wonder u still live in abject poverty.u think i'm a lazy person like u?i'm a business man who love investing in different kind of genuine business but i fall into dis scam due to my busy schedule.for ur information, the money i invested is nothing to me! but i'm here to safe innocent nigerians from criminal like u.mintyx oleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i can see sign of frustation in ur write up,e be like say i don pour sand for ur garri lollllllllllOk Sir. Its like i will stop bandying words with you on this platform. The more you talk, the more you keep contraditing yourself and i know what is responsible for it. Fact remains that i dont know about any reasonable investor who will want to invest on something, give out thier money to "a trusted friend" like you put it without at least knowing what the investment entails. Its only folks like you who can do that and when things dont turn out the way you fantasized it, you shout Scam!! Next time call someone to interprete to you terms and conditions of anything you want to go into... |
It is because of your empty head that you couldnt read and decipher terms and conditions before joining a program. You see why i doubt your ability to make 500grand? How were you able to reason that a haulage company will fetch you money? is it from your blank head? How were you able to register the company when you cant write something meaningful? Im just wondering ![]() |
See ds stark oh! you are making more than 500grand a week so wetin carry you come register for comandclem? Its obvious you are ranting here cos of your frustrations because you couldnt get your money back. Like i said, there are better ways to manage your frustrations like drinking liquid soap, drinking engine oil and all that. Those things will stop your frustrations quicker than making fooly of ur plank head here. |
Lol, Someone should pls tell this frustrated Ewu Gambia called @Arena to pls go and take some liquid soap and drink joor and leave others alone. And besides how can a "stark illi.." be making 500grand weekly? How in the world is that possible? lol |

If John Bull actually smelt the law school, he cant exceed the charge and bail lawyers that thier "jurisdiction" start and ends with land dealings and land documents! I said so because even as a medical personel that is not "learned", CCNL case makes sense to me and to Barristers i showed the documents before involving myself here so he can burn with his diseased opinions about CCNL. If eventually the Nigerian factor supresses this company i will still look at it like a wise investment i made! Im sure this will sound disapointing to the three Musketters here lol |
