Hmmm the way the EFCC is going after Dieziani, why are they not going after the other Ex-Ministers of Petroleum before her or are dey all clean!!!! If U investigate one then u investigate dem all!! |
I guess it depends on why we broke up in d first place. If there was no infidelity n it was just a case of perhaps growing apart due to other pressures then who knows it might just be a case of second time lucky!! After all some pple break up and get back together years later and it works for them so it all depends on d two individuals n wat dey want. Also If it's d will of God that both shld be together then so be it. Remember to err is human and to forgive is divine. Christ forgave those that betrayed him why not us. |
Hmmm this I hear has been d case in PHC for months even since last year. I guess it slowly moving to different areas now. I hear that even closing the windows does not really help. Where is the environmental protection agency when u need them cos this appears to be a case of serious air pollution!!! Elections are 2mrw, hope pple will have dis in mind as they cast their votes |
WHATSAPP anytime any day |
So how much will it cost! |
What abt the Imo state part of d Owerri-PHC road when will they finish dat part? Abi no be FG road again? This is what it looks like after it rains!

Na wah oh walahi all d stolen money slashed away in US banks by our corrupt politicians will be given visa free travel back into Naija no need for customs clearance. Although maybe when he realises the financial impact this will have on the US economy cos we are talking about billions of dollars being repatriated he might just make a u-turn and keep mute. The only concern going forward is how Trump will treat ethnic minorities and hispanic people, he had very few of these people in his election campaign ![]() Hillary has had the odds stacked against her since she brutally attacked Obama during the presidential primaries in 2007/8, some Democrats never really forgave as it appears that this has come back to haunt her badly. Also majority of the republicans do not like Donald Trump at all so there will be no surprises if they try to impeach him during his tenure and replace him with someone else, who knows it might be that they wld have said lets just get the republicans back in power and then take it from there. Anyway lets watch and see what will happen but its going to be a very interesting next 4 years. |
BUHARI winning, BREXIT and the US Election results have clearly shown that people are really tired with the status quo and want change, now whether all this is for the better for these countries still remains to be seen but it has set a trend for other countries to follow. The good thing so far in Naija that is noticeable is that people are focusing less on importing things and looking for local alternatives. Local welders , furniture makers and sellers of local fabrics are being patronised more and more which is good for local content and is preventing capital flight and hopefully this will help the Govt focus on reviving the manufacturing industries which have been virtually non existent for some years. If Ajaokuta steel mill is up and running then the cost of local fabrication will come down. |
Na wah ooh this election results get as eh bi ooh, walahi if Trump wins then all d stolen money slashed away in US banks by our corrupt politicians will be given visa free travel back to Naija no need for customs clearance. ![]() |

sarrki:Not only PDP destroyed everything , APC were also part of the destruction after all 90% of the politicians who are now in APC were in PDP when the destruction was going on so so who is kidding who and besides some of the biggest destroyers are the top nuts in APC now. Naija politics!!!!!! |
tough ? depending on how brave n bold d girl is maybe try n get to know him or how he really feels. Need to be careful not to over think dat his shyness means he really likes d girl |
The sad thing about this is that the more the naira value falls, the more expensive things become, your $ , £ or € now can not really make a difference cos the price of things just keep on rising and with the way things are going the exchange rate will soon be $1 - N1000, the Govt needs to act fast and try to find ways to curtail the fall of the naira before the economy totally collapses. ![]() |
oruma19:Unless you want to marble the 2 bedroom house, N2.7m is way too much for a basic two bedroom unfurnished house, the houses are not much bigger than a 2 bed boys quarter. I know some one who just built one and the total cost was no where near N2.7m except maybe you are considering the land that the house was built on. The Govt should reduce the price, cos how many pple can even afford 2.7m for this. |
Hmm what about Imo State? |
I thank God for the greatest gift that I am alive to see today. I thank God that I started the day yesterday and finished the day, that I slept yesterday and woke up this morning in Good health. Anything else is an additional blessing from God. |
I seriously pray for peace to come to Omoku because what is going on there is terrible, the killings have to stop, pls peeps remember them in ur prayers. |
What about all the former First Ladies that used their office to enrich themselves will the EFCC not probe them? The EFCC shld stop this selective probe, if they r probing one they shld probe all of them dead or alive as they are all multimillionaires by virtue of their office. |
Yes it's true that igbos are not United and Buhari hardly got any votes from them but at the end of the day the South east is still part of Nigeria and the FG is mandated to take care of all Federal roads, the Owe-Port Expressway is an eye sore especially from Umuagwo to the boundary of Rivers which Amaechi did, let's not even talk of the Port- Aba Expressway way which is even worst and had been so for some years now and d FG doesn't seem to be bothered Or even bat an eye. Fashola announced dat the FG had earmarked some billions for repair of Fed roads, so our SE Govs shld rally together and present themselves as a united front to get the FG to repair the roads after all that's why we voted them there in the first place and not to do talking without action. |
hmmm i hope Amaechi returned his own loot too! |
Hmmm make the North no try am oh except the reasons for the 2019 elections not holding is because Nigeria will no longer exist as it is because Nigerians have voted for disintegration but barring this, THERE WILL DEFINATELY BE ELECTIONS COME 2019 whether anyone likes it or not. |
Come ooh but is it only Dieziani that looted Govt money! What about all the past Ministers of Petroleum before her, nobody is saying anything about them or the foreign properties that they purchased! We all know that NNPC sinks of corruption, what has the EFCC done to corrupt officials there! What about all the other corrupt politicians that have used Govt money to buy properties abroad will the EFCC not probe them too! The discretionary allocation of oil blocks nkoo abi is the probing of dat outside EFCC jurisdiction? The Power sector saga under Obasanjo nkoo, Abu OBJ is now above the law! What about the Halliburton scandal, no one is saying anything about this anymore and people outside the country who were involved have long been prosecuted! The fight against corruption MUST not have any boundaries or limits as no one is above the law, every politician and past leader shld be probed and be made to give an account of their stewardship even those currently in the APC lead Govt. |
Pls the FG should do more of this in the south most notable being the Owerri -Port harcourt highway especially at Isiokpo which is a notorious area for armed robbers and kidnappers, road travellers are being subjected to kidnapping and armed robbery on a daily basis. |
The current economic situation has made Nigerians to dig deep and look for alternatives to survive. I have noticed that people are patronising local content more for example Nigerian furniture makers are more busy than before as the cost of buying imported sofas and chairs is out of the reach of most Nigerians; People are going for strong welded and beautifully designed doors as opposed to buying the 200K + imported bullet proof doors; even Metacoppo Aluminium roofing materials are being preferred to the imported stone coated roofing sheets that are now so expensive to import. You tend to see more made in Nigeria tiles compared to the imported ones as the cost of importation is so high. Very soon people will turn more to Agriculture and growing their own produce rather than just buying imported expensive food items as this will help crash the prices of food items. God has always and will always continue to bless Nigerians with knowledge, we are a blessed nation and we definitely know how to survive when times are hard, hopefully we will all learn from the current economic situation and positively turn things around for ourselves cos no one but us can do this . |
Na wah oh when will Nigeria ever stop borrowing, we borrowed in the past what good came out of that, it has just lead us to borrowing again, what about all the money that has been recovered from looters? All the beneficiaries of oil blocks shld be made to cough out the billions after all there are some of them that have publicly said that don't even know what to do with their millions. |
grossintel:Though I'm not so sure that the war against indiscipline may be successful now compared to 1985 under a military regime cos Nigerians have changed a lot since then, it will even be the brigade themselves that will openly flout the rules once money passes hands. There is nothing wrong with queuing in bus stops after all when Nigerians travel abroad they queue in bus stops and at train stations so why not here, and its the same Nigerians that queue over there that criticise why its not done here. If a policy be it WAI or another will help change the country and Nigerians for the better then please lets throw our weight behind it, if Nigeria is better today then we all stand to benefit, we have long pasted the point where things MUST change. |
dremide:Okay but what about Akwa Ibom and Cross River states , i believe there is no militancy there so why can't the FG spearhead a deep sea port project there? At a time last year there was some mention of a deep sea port in Cross River so what happened ? Militancy or the prospect of it, or the fact that it will take a lot of internally generated revenue away from Lagos. |
Who was President of nigeria in 2009? i believe it was that person who appointed Sanusi as CBN Governor, why didn't he tell Yaradua then that subsidy was a scam or challenge Obasanjo that subsidy was a scam? Jonathan tried to remove subsidy during his time and Sanusi was the CBN gov then, because Jonathan knew it was a huge scam but the APC people in power now fought against it, only for the same APC people who supported Sanusi to become Emir of Kano, to turn around and remove it. Sanusi was also part of the foolish people that created the policy, so please who is scamming who here? |
What about approving new deep seaport for some of the coastal states like Delta, Rivers,Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom,Calabar) so that traders cost of clearance and transportation from lagos to the south-east south-south and surrounding states can be reduced and those states can have more internally generated revenue like Lagos? Or better still the FG should approve the refurbishment of all the abandoned seaports or the key ones. I sure the loots that have been recovered can foot the bill for at least one. Traders are crying about the high cost of customs clearance leaving them no choice but to increase the price of their wares. Honestly it makes no economic sense that a country as big as Nigeria have all their active seaports located in one small state, for God sake these are the things that these so called elected Rep members and senators should be discussing in their respective meetings rather than just looking to line their own pockets and padding budgets. Rotimi Amaechi as the transport minister and who should be representing the interests of the Mid-West, south east and south-south and their surrounding states seems to be blind to the importance of diversifying the seaports in Nigeria. No problem sha, when he finishes with APC he will return to his people who will then question him what he has achieved in terms of multi-million dollar infrastructure. He bashed and rebashed Jonathan continuously over his lack of development , now that he is in the main hot seat of developing infrastructure what is he doing!!!! |
So the govt is finally admitting that they do not have the economic expertise to handle the problem and that their economic team has no clue on how to turn the country around, na wah, but at least its good to know they have accepted this and are asking for expert guidance. Rather than limit this to a few, they should have a proper full roundtable of Nigerian Economic and finance experts at home and in the diaspora who are are leaders in their fields and consult with them. Buhari should also consider restructuring his entire economic/finance team as its very clear they are not very competent to handle our economic and financial problems cos if he doesn't, even if our Nigerian experts proffer solutions, if the economic team do not understand how to implement these solutions then it will all be an exercise in futility. |
If its true and he resigns so should everyone else that has ever been involved in present and past acts of budget padding including Femi Gbajamila as his hands are also dirty. Its time the EFCC should carry out a detailed investigation of budget padding as it seems this takes place not only in the national assembly but also in Ministries and parastatals across the country. |
Although maybe when he realises the financial impact this will have on the US economy cos we are talking about billions of dollars being repatriated he might just make a u-turn and keep mute.
