It arrived today again o which is the 19th day. Was expecting it next week. So confused!! Very light , no usual cramps hmm

This morning my wife noticed that her breasts are heavy and more full and she is worried. She is in CD 20(luteal phase) and her cycle is always between 27-29 days. Can someone help enlighten her. 1. my af was few days late and contained (sorry tmi) ewcm and slippery clots and I had cramps throughout. It's a change from my normal flow and has me worried. Before af came, I was having pregnancy symptoms and very serious backache only for all symptoms to cease completely one day and af came next day. Can anyone shed light on this.

Hello, can someone please tell me the dangers or side-effects associated with HSG test, because somebody adviced my wife not to try it with rhetoric that it is too early for her, despite we ttc for a year plus and a gyn recommended the test.

Hi mamas and papas to be, below are list of fertility tests couple who are trying to conceive should do.

1. Seminal fluid analysis.
This is the most important test, this check for sperm count,motility and morphology of the mans semen.. Average price for the test 4k-10k

2. Trans vaginal scan.
Trans vaginal scan, this is done using a probe like instrument and inserting it into the vagina, its better than abdominal scan as it sees the womb better, ovarian cyst or fibroid can be detected. Average price for the test 3k-5k.

3. Follicular monitoring
This test is very important and shouldn't be over looked, it is used to check the follicules and ovulation is determined, i use to think i ovulates on day 14, using ovulation strip, after undergoing follicular monitoring, it showed that i usually ovulates on day 16. This is done an average of 3 times monthly. Average price is 2k-5k

4. HSG
Very important test to check for tubal patency, you are usually booked on the first week after your period, then a dye like substance is inserted into your tubes, they watch to see if it passes through or stops half way, this test is very important as it is impossible to become pregnant with blocked tubes even if you ovulates, its a most for all TTCing moms, infact, i got pregnant the following month but miscarried.
NB. Its very painful
Price range for test is 25k-50k.

5. Hormonal Assay male and female.
This test is important for detecting hormonal imbalance in both male and female. A problem detected is half solved.
Price range 8k to 10k

6. Hystreoscopy.
Mums to be, this test is very important, most importantly it is carried out under sedative, so you wont feel pain, this procedure is carried out by inserting a device with a camera into the uterus through the vagina carnal, the physician can visually inspect the uterus, checking out for uterine scaring aka Asherman syndrome, polyps,or fibroid. If you have had a DnC, pls do this,as uterine scaring lead to infertility or recurrent miscarriage.
Price range 30k to 50k

Please I don't und3rstand what is happening again. Been having severe nip tenderness,and enlarged with a lil bit of fullness for a week now. AF was suppose to come yesterday,but didn't. I tested this morning it show negative. Am having on n off cramp too. Pls my beautiful Mama's who has experience this before? Am anxious and hoping for the best

Funny enough, I am also expecting AF on Sunday too although, I have a long cycle of 45 days. I haven't tested at all. Waiting to see what happens on Sunday first before taking the next step.

For PID the best approach is complimentary. Know the active bacteria in the infection site, get a proper antibotics combination for it. When this is certified clear. Now follow up with colon cleansing (some of them hide in the gut to reinfect ) and antiinflammatory herbs to ensure full recovery.

Zero pains during Menses except mild contraction the uterus does to shed it lining.
All unnecessary discharge will stop as well, you will feel at peace.

Hello All, Nice job. I did MOD/IELTS on the 21 March and my results were LSRW 9896.5 so I applied for a remark immediately. IELTS then sent an email attaching a refund form and Bank Trf form. Based on the mail I was expecting an upgrade in my online result immediately however nothing has happened. Please how long does it take to put the new result online cos I really want to upgrade my EE fast from my current 467. Kindly assist seniors.

@Mirian91, this was my post during my 2ww. I understand how frustrating this period can be. That was why I had to vent here when all hope seemed lost.

But to the glory of God, I tested on Valentine's day and two thick red lines were staring at me. Safe to say, DH had a fantabulous valentines.

Sorry I couldn't announce earlier mummies but Ms and anxiety from my previous history (blighted ovum) made me to wait it out before coming to share the news. I have had two scans to confirm and both times my Lil bean is growing perfectly.

This is to tell you that all hope is not lost and miracles happen when we do not expect it.

The Most Important Thing is Love and Fear Of God.

I got married to my beautiful and loving wife fourteen years ago. We courted for four years before marriage and me strictly observed no sex before marriage. We both came from a background that discouraged premarital sex and we were cool with that. While we were dating, I observed that she was always having severe menstrual cramps and pain for 2-4 days every month but we never took it as something serious.

On our wedding night, I knew something was wrong as she was in severe pain during sex. I knew she was not a virgin before marriage because she told me about an unfortunate incident that happened to her when she was very young. It was quite obvious to me that she doesn't enjoy sex because of pain and the fact that her parent circumcised her. (How I hates her parents for this).

I love my wife dearly, and the thought of being unfaithful to her never crossed my mind. Over the years, God has been giving me the inner strength to show great understanding to her emotional needs and improvise for our sexual life. I know that on her part, she is making constant sacrifices to endure the pains just to please me. There are periods she becomes paranoid that I will leave her. Her reactions is understandable as we have been TTC for 13 years. We have been to several hospitals and have spent so much money on medical procedures and IVFs. Initially she was diagnosed of fibroid and she had two hysteroscopy to remove the fibroid. We tried another IVF after the surgery to no avail.

Her menstrual and ovulation pains got progressively worst and she developed the accumulation of bloody fluids in her tummy. She was initially misdiagnosed by two high profile hospitals of liver cancer and ectopic pregnancy respectively. These were very difficult period for us. But thankfully she was eventually diagnosed of severe endometriosis and she commenced treatment immediately. It took thirteen years for doctors to diagnosed what was wrong with my wife-ENDOMETRIOSIS.

Most doctors often overlook endometriosis as the leading cause of infertility in women. The pains of endometriosis is indescribable and very few people also understand that husbands whose wives suffers from this ailment do suffer emotional pains and stress.

With hormonal treatment, her pain is now manageable. We are still hopefully TTC. My parents and siblings have been very supportive. They know I love my wife dearly and they respect our privacy and decisions.

This is our story.

I narrate this story to encourage all those who are TTC not to give up in showing love to their spouses and to have the fear of God. I prayerfully and earnestly look forward to the day my wife will carry our baby in her arms with a smile in her eyes.
