As we know it, few hours from now, the third edition of Nigeria’s most loved TV shows we hit our screens. And just before it starts, we have some new updates we’ll love to share. One of our latest updates is that Kiss Daniel and Mayorkun will perform at the premiere on Sunday night. And just in case you are in doubts, the premiere starts on Sunday and will be live on DStv and GOtv Nigeria from 7pm WAT. As expected, the show which will be hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will hold in South Africa. They say there will be 20 housemates, including two fake housemates. Although, we are not 100 percent sure if the ‘fake housemates’ rumour is true but the only way to confirm this is to wait for the show to begin on Sunday. https://juicylinksmag.com/2018/01/27/kiss-daniel-and-mayorkun-to-perform-at-the-big-brother-naija-2018-premiere/ UjSizzle prof800 Briareos

Be it a Galaxy Note 7 or any other smartphone, your smartphone’s battery can explode under certain conditions, such as high temperatures and pressure. But in this man’s case, the battery that exploded in his face has nothing to do with technical failures, but with human stupidity. A customer at a store in China was looking to buy a replacement battery for his iPhone, and when the employee on duty shows him one, the best thing he could think of was to bite into the battery to test its authenticity, that singular act made the battery explode in his face. According to Taiwan News, the man studied the battery for a while and set out to check if it was “a real battery” or original by biting it. The pressure on the battery created a reaction that led to a massive ball of fire which engulfed both he and his female companion. Fortunately, the news platform reported that no one was seriously injured. There are those who bite gold to verify if it is real, but to do same with a battery is an idea that is not only risky, but stupid. https://juicylinksmag.com/2018/01/24/man-bites-a-smartphones-battery-to-check-if-it-was-real-it-exploded-in-his-face/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA1pFU6jCPE dragnet , honsule , puskin , Lalasticlala

Driving free traffic from YouTube is one of the most cost-effective ways of gaining new customers. YouTube can deliver countless viewers, with even the most obscure niches finding an audience. The vast number of new videos added to the site daily will pose problems, though, as competition for attention is high. The best way to ensure growing view rates is to turn viewers into subscribers, allowing your videos to trend after they are released. The following tips can all be used to increase subscriber rates on your channel. 1. Create multiple call to action point Hoping that viewers will naturally choose to subscribe is not a valid strategy. It is essential you actively promote the subscription button, directly asking for people to follow you. Popular methods include mentioning signing up at the end of the video, adding captions, and linking within the description. Experimenting with different placements will reveal what works with your audiences, but the critical factor is to use multiple calls to action points in every video. 2. Craft Intriguing Titles If you can’t get people to watch your videos, you will always struggle to grow a following. One of the most important factors for gaining clicks is a good title. Titles stand out in the searches and recommended options, with limited alternative options to gain viewers. Good headlines work in a similar way to ads and blogs, using descriptive words, numbers, keywords, and questions to create interest. 3. Follow Trends While you may be tempted to follow your own path, YouTube is a platform where it can help to study patterns. The site has an active community aspect, so following a popular trend allows you to reach targeted viewers who are interested in a particular type of video. The fashion and beauty industry, for example, is dominated by unboxing videos, with keen viewers who look for new YouTubers creating this content. 4. Study Your Audience Most YouTube channels can fit into a broad category, such as health, fitness, beauty, gaming, and sports. When you can accurately categorize yourself, it is possible to study what evokes audience response. Focus on the top performing videos and channels looking at the comments and likes. Alongside the general content, though, you can also see the types of videos being created such as animations, PowerPoint presentations, direct-to-camera productions, detailed analysis, or short and snappy ideas. 5. Network with Other YouTubers There are many favorite YouTube celebrities and accounts across a variety of niches. Rather than viewing these channels as competition, you can look for opportunities to work together. https://juicylinksmag.com/2018/01/16/five-simple-tips-for-getting-more-youtube-subscribers/ adewasco2k , Slyr0x Lalasticlala Mynd44

Now D government is blaming IS . I wish I never voted this useless President. |
Just like the Mad Max movie, a city on the planet is about to become the first to run out of water due to the drought in recent years. Cape Town, South Africa has less than 100 days left . Actually, the South African city had always been known as a refuge of abundant natural water. However, a three-year drought in the region around Cape Town has caused levels in its water supply to fall dangerously to record lows. In fact, experts have predicted that the city will reach Day Zero in which dams will fall below 13.5% of their combined capacity on April 21. If, as it seems, this scenario occurs, all non-emergency municipal water supplies will be turned off, except in the poorest and most needy neighborhoods. Residents will also be required to obtain water from one of the 200 collection sites available in some areas. The government has warned that on April 21, each resident will have access to an undetermined number of liters per day and plans to deploy armed guards that will prevent water theft. Meanwhile, the city is working on water recycling projects and the construction of three desalination plants that are expected to be operational in March. Currently they are also applying a water limit per person per day. Time magazine said that the drought in the city is shaping the thinking of many. For example, the city has asked locals to limit their showers to a couple minutes, stop watering their lawns, no washing of cars, and flushing toilets only when necessary. Also, the government has started a certainly controversial movement: a live water monitoring map that embarrasses residents who waste water or encourages them to follow the good habits of their neighbors. Experts explain in their latest study that, there are obvious signs that what happened in Cape Town probably worsened more due to human actions. The chances of an extreme drought are increasing in the Western Cape region in general. While the wet and snowy years will continue to happen, the area tends to be dry and prone to drought. In fact, research has found that the warmer and drier climate is becoming more common throughout the world. In 2015, NASA’s satellite data discovered that one third of the world’s groundwater reserves were too “stressed” by human use, suggesting a grim result if society does not learn to use water in a more sustainable way. Cape Town is the first example of such increasingly realistic predictions. https://juicylinksmag.com/2018/01/19/cape-town-will-become-the-first-city-in-the-world-to-run-out-of-water-in-less-than-100-days/ lalasticlala mynd44

I know, the name of this Kenyan company Mobius Motors does not sound familiar at all, but we’ll tell you that the company was founded in 2009 by a computer engineer whose main goal was to facilitate transport in Africa, and more specifically in rural areas with little or no infrastructure. The ‘low cost’ SUV, Mobius II , which is essentially designed specifically to facilitate mobility in rural Africa has a robust structure based on a ladder chassis, on which a steel body is installed. Speaking of its propulsion – only models of rear traction are offered, at least for the moment – a 1.8 liter gasoline engine with a modest power of 131 HP is ordered, coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox. Speaking of the interior, Mobius II comes with only two seats. Depending on the range, it can be equipped with an infotainment system with 8-inch screen and air conditional. The model is already on sale by order, the first units will not reach the market until the beginning of 2018. It costs about 1.3 million Kenyan shillings, that’s about 4.5 million Nigerian naira or 10,600 euros. https://juicylinksmag.com/2017/12/23/this-is-mobius-ii-a-low-cost-suv-manufactured-in-kenya-and-designed-for-rural-africa/ Marpol lalaticala

As Nigerians, we will all condemn this act. But 2morrow when how friend in South Africa buys a new SUV or builds a house in his village, we be the first to start singing his praises. Anyone who tries to investigate the source if his money, we tag that person an 'enemy of progress'. Nigerians will never change. What a shame. |
