I am sincerely down, just put to birth 4 days ago. After 1year plus of trying to get pregnant , took in, husband stressing me emotionally during pregnancy and having an extreme high bp. Delivering through cs eventually. Now the major problem, after delivery my husband called my family members and his. They all came to hospital no privacy for me or my child, eventually i was discharged. I don't make any decisions of my own, my husband sibbling wants to make all decisions for me. My room is fully occupied with them, i can't rest because of them. I just found out that i am having spinal headache from the injection that was giving to me during cs, i am in serious pains, they feel i can't handle my child as a newbie. I am just so tired and confused. They won't even let me change diapers. I know they are helping me out but i want to bond with my child* crying*. I can't tell my husband, he would feel i am over reacting or don't want his siblings around. We have other rooms, they can be there and let me bond with my child at times . Maybe i am having trauma or over reacting. Literally crying now

You're not alone in this Sis, I can't say I know exactly how you feel but I can relate. Just take it easy with yourself.
I had to shout at people onetime and they got the Memo and gave me space. Wouldn't advice you to do same cos you know your inlaws better but please take it easy with yourself, emotions and all.

Cry all you want too, and tell Hubby too okay?

As for other Mummies with time, I'd advise you read this book, Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Miaze. Read it and digest the scriptures with it, I saw God's hands clear in my labour journey and could apply these principles I got from the book.

I think it’s normal. I’m almost 9mnths and I still vomited today.
She should just take things easy and know what works for her. For me oral b toothpaste makes me vomit and skipping my 6am breakfast makes me vomit too.
Eating after being hungry for long makes me throw

So let her just find what works for her. It will end in praise for us all, Amen

Yes, please wash everything. Baby's skin and body system is very delicate. You don't know how the clothes were handled from cutting to sewing, to packaging till it got to you.

Happy new week...

I went for ANC today and there was this preggy mama really gisting us and I was enjoying her discussion. Suddenly, Naso she face me ooo saying my belle should be in the first trimester. I looked at my sweet bump and looked at hers, and smiled. I later heard her telling another mama beside me that she is 6months. Naso I start to dey laugh o and she had to ask me how many months, of which I said 5months+. This funny woman was just shouting that it's a lie. I'm happy for my small bump because it complements my stature . The most important thing is doctor confirms baby is doing well.

Thanks alot everyone. My sis inlaw came this morning quarreling with me, that all men cheat and that the only mistake he made was bringing her home and also dating women around us. They said i should bear and forgive him. I don't have no parents or family members. He was begging me since on Friday,but when his sisters came he started talking with confidence saying my friends are asking me to leave the marriage. And he was bragging to them. I just went inside and cried. If my mum was around, i don't think all these would be happening. I miss my parents so much. But i have decided to gather some money and do something tangible with my life. Thanks alot for your concerns

I was also worried about number 2, Anomaly scan at 20weeks came our perfect for both babies. My Dr has been telling me that babies in the womb have plenty 'cushion' and won't be pressed by band or mistakenly lying on tummy but I didn't listen. How will I? 13yrs of actively trying is no joke.

We're 30weeks + now. And have been getting scans every 2weeks since the start of this pregnancy, got some done every week sef sneakily though However, my Dr has scheduled me for weekly antenatal visit and scans from 31weeks and that makes me so happy and relieved.

Take care Mama. God will see us through peerfectly with healthy & perfect Little ones, Amen.

2) sometimes I wake up almost on my stomach, like tilted downwards. Shey this wouldn’t squeeze my LO

My sister,I had appetite to eat today and I was so happy. I also haven't thrown up today. Am 11 weeks.

Lol this is so me. I’m 20weeks but my appetite has almost been non existent for weeks now. Finished my food for the first time in a long time

Greetings Mama: So sorry you are growing through fibroid pains, it's no joke! Fibroids are vascular tumors with a rich blood supply. Sometimes they outgrow their blood supply and start to degenerate and my Sister, the pain of that one is more than childbirth! I experienced that for my second pregnancy. I ended up in the Emergency Department several times because of it and I did have to take IV pain medications, which thankfully did not affect the baby. If the pain is not too much, one thing that helps is rest. Get off your feet and relax on the sofa or bed once the pain starts. With my fourth pregnancy, my Obstetrician prescribed a muscle relaxant called Flexeril and that worked like a charm, though it made me sleepy. You should also be seeing a specialist to monitor growth of the fibroid. Have you had an ultrasound? Is the uterine fibroid inside or outside the womb?

Thanks a lot Ma’m. I’ve had several ultrasounds and it shows it’s a multiple uterine fibroid.

Sorry mama, as the saying goes, "it is the first trimester package". I just finished mine o. I had to take each day as it goes. Eat small portions frequently. And eat only what you can tolerate for now. Rest oooooo.

As for me, I couldn't drink water, couldn't cook only took malt or lipton tea, and ate small portions even if I vomitted later, but I am 14weeks now ( second trimester), I can eat well
and drink water now , can't even drink the lipton tea and malt as I did in the first trimester, chicken is still a turn off.

Sorry, first trimester will soon be over.
