Please @mimilyrics I understand you. What VPN do you recommend as the one I have only allows me pick foreign i cannot choose Nigeria. Or... should it be upon my exit I can set it up?

I will try to break it down as much as I can. I hope it helps.

You can only open Monzo and Starling accounts once you're in the UK because you'll need a UK phone number and address.

Transfer wise is an app that you can use to transfer money across different countries. If you don't download a VPN app / service (VPN - Virtual Private Network - allows you to use IPs that mask your location and shows IPs from other countries making it seem like you're in a different country), the Transfer Wise app will automatically select your location as UK (for example) and you'll only be able to transfer from the UK to other countries and not the other way round because of your IP address.

Dorm account is your $£€ account in Nigeria. You can usually transfer to foreign accounts via online banking or by sending an instruction to your bank or account manager to do this. This will be subject to any restrictions that your bank has in place.

BDC is Bureau De Change aka black market sometimes. They usually take your Naira while they transfer the £ equivalent to your UK account.

But if the above still seem complicated, just carry cash on you and open an online account that you can pay your money into as soon as you arrive and sort your phone number and address. You can always open account(s) with a brick and mortar bank after you get your BRP and are settled.

For whatever service you may have applied for, just make sure that you statement of account should have stayed at least 30days before you present it. This is just to be safe. Then you appointment date can be the next day after printout. Cheers.

Please, for assisted service, will my bank statement ends around the time of my appointment date for biometrics. I paid on September 7 and appointment date is Sept 24

To be honest i have been an ardent and silent reader on this thread. One standard thing i have realised is that people avoid the stress of searching to get answers. The reason is they see an issue and they just come to the last page to ask a question. On the other hand its really is quite irritable to see a question being asked to have already been previously answered. So what's the solution?
Simple if you want to offer service or help please bend and do it. If you don't want to just simply move on. Why i say this is because the questions wount stop or end. We would have to live with it. After all they are our brothers and sisters. To all the advisors on this thread and the questioners I say GOD bless us.

I thank TStv for the scrutiny being adopted for the release of their decoder. It would have been an eyesore if news start springing about the boxes not working by men who would not want this to work. The error message means that the Inverter is delivering less than the rated load current. I would advice that you contact the person who installed the Inverter for you, if they can not help you resolve the problem, then you can contact the Mercury Service Center, they will help you fix the problem or they will replace your Inverter (if the Inverter is the issue) no questions asked. All Mercury Inverters come with one year warranty.

How long have you been using the inverter? Have you made any recent changes to the wiring/ configuration?
If your inverter was previously working OK and no changes have been made to the wiring/ configuration I would suggest trying the following:

1. Switch off the Inverter
2. Remove the Inverter’s plug from the power outlet
3. Turn off all Load ( Lights , TV etc)
4. Turn on the Inverter (without any load)
5. If step 4 does not generate any errors, then turn on your lights, TV etc. one by one
6. If still no errors plug the Inverter back into the power outlet

It's barely 2 months no one has touched the wires let me try what you have said.

Please house I have a mecury inverter It's showing the fault code just this morning. I checked the manual it says "output shorted" could be the fault. It charges the battery but will not give out power if there is no light.

IPTV is for matches not aired on IKS or FTA.

I even heard that Star times acquired the bundesliga rights from DFB and if true, I'm going for star times as primary source, just that I'll miss Africa Magic. I love urban, showcase and Yoruba. Only Orisun and WAPtv supplies Yoruba movies on Star times.

I'm also anticipating CTL/ Trend TV. they said they have all beinsport channels and uses DVBT decoders as against DVB, hence DSTV can't challenge them over rights issue

Lanre 2009, this is how it works.. since u already have the swift Mifi, u need an android phone or laptop...for now it only work on those two devices. I asked my contact man if I could drop his contact so that whoever wish to join d moving train can hop in...he said he's not too comfortable with DAT on an open forum like this. will get his email so you guys can also come on board. d beauty is DAT u don't need to see him physically, he will tell u what to do and is up to you to join in or opt out.
