Hi Hannania or anyone who can help. If the name of your course isn’t showing fully in Anabin, how do you convince them it’s the same during review? Especially if they’ve given you a deadline to submit recognition of degree. Please it’s urgent.

I was given an AD this January which I went for, so after a few questions on my interview.
I was asked to get another get another SL because my present SL has expired and I should write to them.

Now I have another new one and I wrote to them that I have a new one.
The issue now is that I go a reply from them that I should apply and wait for my turn.

What will I do now
Please I need guidelines on this.

From my brothers experience, they said if he had sent an email before the interview day he would have been rescheduled. But because he attended the interview, he was asked to reapply and send the block account confirmation when he receives it. he was given his old application number to reference in his email. He got a new date after 2 days. So I think you need to reapply and then send the document ontop of the email confirmation with some explanation. Looks like you need to have an active application in the system they can work with.
You shouldn’t worry you’ll be rescheduled in no time. All the best.

Sorry I can’t show you any email but he sent the block account confirmation on Friday and they responded today with a rescheduled date for tomorrow.

He wasn’t allowed to. He was asked to reapply and send an email to the embassy when he has the complete documents.
The advise was he could have sent an email to the embassy before the interview date and it would have been rescheduled so I’ll suggest you do the same.

This depends on your city. In some, you can basically walk in and get it signed the same-day. For others like Berlin, Munich, Ausburg, Hamburg etc, to get an appointment can take up to 8 weeks. Then another 2 weeks to get it signed and ready.

The smaller the city, the faster it is

Currently, you won't be interviewed. They'll ask you to go back and send an email to the embassy to that effect. Only if you miraculously get past Mr Paulinus. They're send a default response for you to cancel and book again if you're not ready. So pray you get an extension.

For all those waiting, please get your SL or BA ready. It's better to have an expired SL than not having at all.

What if the BA funds have been transferred but isn’t reflecting yet or only a part is reflecting if the payment was split (it usually takes 3-5 business days), what do you do in this case?

There's nothing else u can do na. U have applied for it and yes u show them, insisting to send it immediately u receive it from the foreigners office na.

I think is only normal, d will let u do the interview.

May I know the recent developments u referring to? Probably u know more than I am updated with.

Ye this was the case before. Currently in the appointment mail sent out, its stated that incomplete documents will not be accepted and it’s not possible to submit additional documents after the interview. This was the reason I wanted someone who has interviewed this month to give their experience. Maybe @Hannania can assist with more info.

Ok. What about insurance, I can’t find it in the checklist. Is it still required?

Has anyone successfully done the visa interview this January with pending BA or SL? My brothers interview is on 21 Jan, I’m trying to process SL for him but the appointment date I was given is 28th February and they are claiming they don’t have an earlier date. If anyone has a recent experience please share. I’m thinking of printing out the SL appointment email for him but since they’re becoming more strict I don’t want to gamble.

Guys, someone said when he tried transferring the 10425 to fintiba using access bank, he was charged 30euro as offshore charges after the normal 28k charges.

This is shocking cos I have never had of it before.
I'm about to make the transfer.

There’s something called offshore charges when you’re sending money to the abroad. But the thing is you can either choose to bear it or the money would be deducted from the beneficiary. That’s why there’s a €100 buffer for charges included in the €10,425 block amount.

I stay in ph but I booked through their Lagos office. I called their number requesting for student discount and was asked to send my AL, data page, city of departure and arrival, date of travel to LAGOSSALES@thy.com. From ph to Dusseldorf I paid N199,035.

Call the Turkish Abuja office and tell them you have a Schengen D visa (student visa) and u wanna book a one way flight. They'll ask you to email your visa and admission letter before issuing a ticket but they can give you a quote without all that. I'm over 26 and I got the discount
