So I had my interview yesterday 31 July.
Everything every other person has said here is pretty much the same. I followed the document arrangement posted by Fabcol I think, so I didn’t have any problems with Oga Paulinus.
I was called in for interview at room 2. The lady asked for my original documents and what course I was going for. She asked what I do and who is sponsoring . She asked me if I’ve funded, gave me a paper to sign and said I should copy the email address and send evidence of funding to the mail She asked if I knew how to speak German, if I’ve applied for a German Visa before, asked for visa fee and I did my biometrics.
To the interview proper. Why this course? Your BSc course and thesis? Is the course related to your bsc? Why Germany, why not Nigeria or Uk and US? What do you know about Germany economically, geographically and politically.
She said that’ll be all. Goodluck.
I asked what to put as the subject of the mail when sending the evidence after funding, she said my name and reference number.
Goodluck to everyone waiting for AD, interview and AM. |

Metronimos: Gurus and 'bankers' in the house, please is this reasonable, advisable and possible?
As Euroes seem to be on the rise at the moment, and tend to be even more expensive around August (from what I've gathered so far), and Dollar on the other hand is steady ATM, Is it possible to fund one's dorm account in dollars and have the bank transfer (or however it is possible) to Fintiba in Euros?
Thank you! It is possible, the bank will apply a USD/ Euro cross rate. You need to confirm the rate so you know the exact dollars. Also you can request that the transfer charges be deducted from your naira account. |

This old doc carrying date of birth, is it really compulsory for interview? I can’t even find it on the checklist. I’ve searched and the only old document with my date of birth is my first international Passport. |

sassy92: courier envelope from PH shouldn't be more than 5k. Anything above that, it's someone trying to cheat. Check other DHL offices or FedEx. means of substenance is BA or SL or scholarship. Please go with one for your interview. For BA, you don't have to fund before the interview but you should fund as soon as possible to prevent delays in visa Thanks. It was their customer care I actually called. I’ll try others. |
