Good pm nairalanders. GT Bank sent a message for me: They gave me an account number and ask me to go to any GT Bank branch and activate the account. I have never visited any branch before but someone told me, I applied for a loan and my focal person used the BVN submitted to open an account for me. Who has the same experience as mine?

If you didn't apply for anything with the bank, be sure that a scammer has your details with your bvn and is trying to obtain loan in your name.
I have watched a video of a scammer caught that confessed they use peoples details with their bvn to open account in banks their victims were not registered with and use the accounts to obtain loan.

I can confidently tell you that number 6 is very wrong, my little cousin just did verification and did not even bother to download the posting letter talk more of re-uploading the signed acceptance letter but guess what ? he received his September stipend without blinking and eye.
The whole system is just messed up there are people who've done all the needful and everything is intact on there dashboard but still haven't received any token.

His number 4 too is wrong. Physical verification is not part of the criteria used for payment. If you check thier Facebook page, you'll see that too many people were begging for extension of physical verification because they missed it, so they probably decided to pay everyone.

Why are you always always dishing out information from your head together with what you probably read on Npower social media pages and making it look like you were sent by Npower?

For your information, there are too many people that missed the physical verification and were begging for extension of the exercise but they probably couldn't and decided to pay everyone. And again many people have not downloaded their Ppa letter at the time, so downloading and uploading of Ppa letter is probably not one of the criteria for payment at this time. Stop misleading people with what you think.

She called nasim/Npower on their customer care line and she was told to be patient that another date for physical verification would be communicated to her via social media or her email address. But she was advice to print the PPA letter, and take it to the school principal to sign and to upload it on her profile.
She was further advice not to start work for now

Welcome. Provisional one will be nice because people are too much on Facebook asking about the physical verification.

Let her visit her LGA. She mighty be lucky and be verified.

Physical verification has closed. Npower told people not yet verified that it will be communicated via it's social media handles if provisional physical verification will take place.

Does the one she downloaded has her passport on it? If not, re download, take to the school again and re upload.
That guy was trying to help you and you were using harsh words on him.
The Ppa letter now is different from the one downloadable 3weeks ago.
That guy mentioned update on Facebook yet you didn't care. Did you know people are asking them question there and they are responding? They probably have advised people to redownload.

I don't know what is happening on the site again. When I wanted to input my bank account and bvn, it also told me to update my date of birth. What I did was click on edit, it brought out most of my previously filled details, then, I filled the spaces that are empty and re upload my documents and then save/submit. After that, I was able to input my bank account and bvn.
Note that I didn't change my date of birth, everything I filled and uploaded were exact what was there before. That was what most people that resolved the issue did too.

I doubt if they allow changing of birth date again. Someone here once said he changed it but he couldn't download his Ppa letter until he changed back to former one. You can try it again at midnight.

Click on the "Verify account number" to verify your account number, and go for physical verification. You will get your Ppa later. That is the instruction from Npower.

Let her edit her profile, refill and re-upload her details and documents. The message won't come up again.

Get to know your DOB from BVN and Enter your N-power account and update your details

That's not true, don't mislead people. It's problem with the site.
The person just needs to edit and re-fill his/her details with exact ones that were there before to rectify the issue.

Everyone has invalid under their BVN status. Npower said there is no problem with it.

Is not showing it anymore.. But to my surprise, I edited my profile to the previous DOB on my BVN before changing it to the present one and it work.
The present one(BVN DOB) didn't work

It means the system already stored the previous one. Don't you think it could cause payment problem if it's different from that of the Bank? Maybe you should send them message.

Npower has replied people several times that they should go for physical verification, that the Ppa letter will be downloadable after verification. It means they stopped the downloading intentionally.
I hope you know Ppa letter is not part of requirements for physical verification.
