Some guy made a post seeking financial assistance,I responded but dude turned out to be a fraud. Someone somehow erroneously fingered me as an accomplice.

Shit escalated quickly and got outta control. I had to go to the bank to print out my statement and post online, some people came out to vouch for me, some couldn't stop throwing stones. It was a harrowing experience.

That won't stop me from helping anyone though, as long as I have something to spare.

I dont think any reasonable man should have problem with court wedding because it does not require any serious financial implication.
Maybe you need to find a way of telling him properly by letting him know that you are not after party or show off.......Dont miss them together, suggest traditional and court to him and forget bringing up church option (he is your man,3yrs friendship no be beans, he should be able to see things from your angle too and stop been selfish). Maybe the way you are approaching the matter is tending or showing evidences of show off cus we all know how women does things, you all want show off, but if genuinely you are not addressing it in a show off way, i dont think a reasonable man should be threatening you on that.

Still talk to him n let him see your side of the matter and yourself to hear his side well. We cant advice you to dash journey of 3yrs away just like that.

That cost me a relationship but I walked out of it. I cried. I loved him. But I couldn’t think of forever with a man that wants to “lord” “rule” “question my friendships or even cut my normal ties with male colleagues” simply because they are males etc on top of “marriage”. Well my solution is that if you want the marriage to work you would need to sacrifice more as it’s obvious you are the one that loves her more for you to have said the marriage be rushed.
Just ignore her rudeness, do what you are to do, play your role, Love and gentleness in most time calms a lady....our conscience tells us to act better as we get to know it’s only a man that loves us that has come so low to take our bullshit and we just get to know that we just have to treat him right over time.

But if you keep fighting same way with a loud mouthed lady...you won’t make progress...
Resentment would only just Set in deeper and deeper!!!
