Abuja is your sure bet. As for accommodation for a 2-3 bedroom apartment, per annum is from 600k. I don't know if they collect 6 months payment and this 600k is in lugbe axis you can get apartment for such amount.

For a serene environment with light and access road, I advise you get an apartment in an Estate as they are secured and always boasts of electricity.

I'm sorry to derail the thread. I felt I should advertise my business here since everyone is living in Abuja. Lol

I bake yummy, moist, sweet and fluffy cakes of different flavours. Not only that, I make snacks too such as meat pies, sausage rolls, doughnuts, small chops, chin chin, egg roll etc.

Dear Poster, let me chip in one or two things.

First of all, stop giving your husband pocket money except in exceptional cases if he has an interview to attend or he needs transport fare for job hunting. By so doing that, his brain would reset and he would get up and look for something to do.

Secondly, you have to reduce your spending on groceries shopping. To me if you have enough food at home it's better, cut off some other things that aren't important. Like fuelling the gen mustn't be everytime. Learn to spend within your means.

I am a civil servant too, what I earn isn't up to your's but I cut my coat according to my size. As it is now, you have no savings. Okay, God forbid oo what if an emergency surfaces and it requires money, where would you get it from? Would you go and borrow again? And before you know it all your salary would be used to service loans.

If you have a skill, I would advise you put it to use. When office resumes, you can make snacks, moi moi or anything eatable that you know it would move. As I am, I take snacks to the office to sell. I bake Cakes too, I baked different flavours of cake. Cut it inside a transparent nylon and give it out as samples to my colleagues at work. They enjoyed it and I know I would get orders from them when they need one.

I also sell the one's in foil plate for 500# thou I only bake it when one or two people request for it. That's how I started gradually, it's this pandemic that makes me to halt it as office hasn't resumed fully. Think of another side hustle that would bring in income for you not just salary alone. Sis, anything eatable would sell if it's sweet. But DON'T SELL ON CREDIT.

Fourthly, why don't you look for a lesser house to stay pending when everything normalizes. Because taking loan every year to renew your rent isn't cool at all. If it's a two bedroom apartment you guys are staying, move to a one bedroom apartment that is okay and less expensive.

I hope you would take one of two things from what I penned down.

I'm a witness to this inhumane act by this lady, I knew this will happen even though the money is nothing to write home about in this present day Nigeria.The only npower recruitment that was devoid of this man no man issue was the first one of 2016 because probably most persons didnt take it seriously, but from 2017 up to this moment, this man no man issue has become the order of the day and unfortunately we all can only rant online but nothing absolutely will be done about it. I would share what I have learnt

EDIT :

-You have to first of all value yourself. If you don't, no one would value you.

-You have to have good value, its different from valuing yourself. A thief might value himself, but he definitely doesn't have value.

-You also have to ask yourself if you are worth marrying. Many men focus on marrying wife materials, but they are not husband materials. Are you a husband material ?

-You have to be ready to be selfless, if you are not, marriage isn't for you.

-You have to know what you want in a spouse. If you don't know what you want, how would you know when you see it.

-If you are a Christian, you need to tell God to direct you. Pray for wisdom and the spirit of discernment.

-God might not show you a dream or vision of your wife, that's why you need the above. When you see her, and study her for a while, with divine direction and discernment, you would just know.

-Marry someone who is going to give you peace, without it, nothing else would make sense.

-Make sure she is your friend first, if she isn't your friend first, when an issue comes up it would be difficult to resolve. Your friendship with each other makes you miss each others company. You wouldn't be able to stay too long without talking to your friend. This makes conflict resolution easier and quicker.

- Make sure she is also selfless. Marriage with two selfless people is the sweetest.

- Third party ruins things. Everybody apart from the two of you are third party. This includes your pastor, your parents , your siblings. No one should live in your house.

-Pray together, always.

Noun is a time waster. Instead of a year program you end up spending two to three years reason being that they won't release all your results. You have to register again till you pass it. In short cases of missing results is much rampant with Noun. I'm speaking from experience.
