Business / Sos Call To Wema Bank by mistarsam(m): 6:04pm On Jan 30
On the 16th of December, 2023, I got a debit alert, very early in the morning, to the tune of N25,000 with a scanty description: "WEB PAY". I called the Purple connect lines to hotlist my card and enquire about the nature of the transaction. The response I got was nowhere near something actionable. "Maybe you've exposed your card details online"

Thereafter, all emails sent have been replied with a touch of "sorry for the inconveniences caused. We are still investigating".

Even the fact that I copied the CBN email address (cpd@cbn.gov.ng) and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has not yielded any positive efforts.

Also, my visit to the bank was the same experience. Attached are some of the screenshots pertaining to this transaction.

This illegal movement of funds really affected me as I was supposed to get a freezer and some other stuffs for my business. This didn't materialize as a result.

Mod please move to the frontpage.

For you to take this daily it means you don't have a proper financial budget.

There's nothing healthy about holandia yogurt,

Come out from this media Bondage!

Do you read its contents at all?

Do not consume pasteurized milk or it's yogurt.

It's expensive and worthless.

For you to take this daily it means you don't have a proper financial budget.

Enzymes that are helpful have been taken out.

Essential minerals have been taken out.

A, K, E, and D, all fat-soluble vitamins, have all been eliminated.

Pasteurized milk and yogurt are basically bland liquids with sweets that make their way into our food supply thanks to corporate duplicity, misinformation, and profit-seeking.

Those who are familiar with the development of dietary nutrition would know what I'm talking about.

I would be talking about this corporate deception on my channel soon, search and join IAJ ONLINE on telegram.

I know this question might have been answered before but there's no harm in asking again.

Is SAE 40 (Mobile/Techno brand) engine oil good for generators (Sumec Firman Eco3990es, 2.5KVA in particular)?

This question has been ignored

Why I hate Nigerian music industry. They don’t kill each other.

They need to be taking their beef to another level, thats what makes the industry interesting.

Wizkid’s crew should smoke Davido, and retaliation would take down Wizkid. From there, Mayorkun and Peruzzi would be smoked, and the retaliations and counter retaliation will keep going on.

We can’t just be listening to musics and beefs, without people dying.

They need step up the game.

Nigeria has never had an experienced politician and economist driven President.

What is happening now is a president who knows some economics and has the political clout to get his work done. But all these is the presidential push.

Lets see what happens when those whose pockets will be affected will pushback. Will the government fold? That is where his political experience might be needed
@mynd44 how do I get my thread about order cancellation on Jumia to frontpage? They've stopped responding to my emails. Calling the customer care number is just a waste of airtime and time itself
Thanks.

Attached is my email chat with Fairmoney customer service agent

Business / Re: Jumia Please Refund Me by mistarsam(m): 12:22pm On May 22, 2023
Onyeka90210:

Well if they did confirm the alert or transaction before placing the order, then you’ll be refunded, but since it's not card it'll be transferred back to your account,(not reversed), after they do their confirmations and checks to avoid fraud (like a case where someone uses another person bank app to do the transfer, then provide another account details to receive the money).
No pressure, just wait for their follow-up email after providing the details.
But I'm actually thinking they didn't receive the alert, hence the order cancelation. Like fairmoney having banking issues or so.
You know Like when people send money, and the recipient doesn't receive but they get debited.
Hmmm, let's see sha
Yeah, I will follow up with fair money too

P.S: I use both email and phone calls to reach them.
Business / Re: Jumia Please Refund Me by mistarsam(m): 11:56am On May 22, 2023
Your oil will not run dry. I gave him the attention he needed. No more no less.

This is actually my fourth time of making orders on Jumia. So I'm not convinced that my funds is gone.

The only difference this time around was the mode of payment. I usually pay with card.

I know it's going to be reversed. They have no choice.

It was their system that cancelled the order. Reason why is what I don't know of. I was also suspicious that something went wrong when I received a call from their agent few minutes after doing the bank transfer asking me if I needed their help to complete the order. It was late at night and I was feeling sleepy. So I just replied in the negative, with the confidence that the transaction was successful. I woke up next morning to see cancelled order on my Jumia app😂

Onyeka90210:

Ignore that guy
Don't relent,
Failed card purchases or canceled orders made with card can take up to 2 weeks for refund to enter on jumia
But I don't know about transfer, the last mail they sent you is suspicious,
Paying for an item with transfer is not same as using card that gets declined but you get debited
Reply them with the info they requested.
Don't give up.
If possible you can visit any of their pick up centers, and make a complaint.
Though personally, this kind of issue, I do prefer to call them than use email.
Then again, another thing is who canceled the order.
